	호세아 5:1-8:14 호세아는 이스라엘 죄악의 근본 원인이 하나님을 아는 지식이 없기 때문이라는 야웨의 말씀을 전하면서 우상 숭배와 행음, 형식적인 제사와 번제, 제사장들의 타락 등 이스라엘의 죄악을 낱낱이 지적하였다. 그는 이로 인해 하나님의 징계와 심판이 있을 것이지만 그 후에는 치료하시는 하나님의 구원의 은총이 있을 것임을 예언하였다.

	이스라엘의 죄악상(5:1-8:14)

Hear this, O priests! Give heed, O house of Israel! Listen, O house of the king! For the judgment applies to you, For you have been a snare at Mizpah And a net spread out on Tabor.

The revolters have gone deep in depravity, But I will chastise all of them.

I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me; For now, O Ephraim, you have played the harlot, Israel has defiled itself.

Their deeds will not allow them To return to their God. For a spirit of harlotry is within them, And they do not know the LORD.

Moreover, the pride of Israel testifies against him, And Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; Judah also has stumbled with them.

祭司たちよ．これを聞け．イスラエルの家よ．心せよ．王の家よ．耳を傾けよ．あなたがたにさばきが下る．あなたがたはミツパでわなとなり，タボルの上に張られた網となったからだ．

曲がった者たちは落とし穴を深くした．わたしは彼らをことごとく懲らしめる．

わたしはエフライムを知っていた．イスラエルはわたしに隱されていなかった．しかし，エフライムよ，今，あなたは姦淫をし，イスラエルは身を汚してしまった．

彼らは自分のわざを捨てて神に歸ろうとしない．姦淫の靈が彼らのうちにあって，彼らは主を知らないからだ．

They will go with their flocks and herds To seek the LORD, but they will not find Him; He has withdrawn from them.

They have dealt treacherously against the LORD, For they have borne illegitimate children Now the new moon will devour them with their land.

Blow the horn in Gibeah, The trumpet in Ramah Sound an alarm at Beth-aven: "Behind you, Benjamin!"

Ephraim will become a desolation in the day of rebuke; Among the tribes of Israel I declare what is sure.

The princes of Judah have become like those who move a boundary; On them I will pour out My wrath like water.

彼らは羊の群れ，牛の群れを連れて行き，主を尋ね求めるが，見つけることはない．主は彼らを離れ去ったのだ．

彼らは主を裏切り，他國の男の子を生んだ．今や，新月が彼らとその地所を食い盡くす．

ギブアで角笛を吹き，ラマでラッパを鳴らし，ベテ · アベンでときの聲をあげよ．ベニヤミンよ．警戒せよ．

エフライムは懲らしめの日に，恐怖となる．わたしはイスラエルの部族に，確かに起こることを知らせる．

Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, Because he was determined to follow man's command.

Therefore I am like a moth to Ephraim And like rottenness to the house of Judah.

When Ephraim saw his sickness, And Judah his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria And sent to King Jareb But he is unable to heal you, Or to cure you of your wound.

For I will be like a lion to Ephraim And like a young lion to the house of Judah I, even I, will tear to pieces and go away, I will carry away, and there will be none to deliver.

I will go away and return to My place Until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.

エフライムはしいたげられ，さばかれて打ち ¿かれる．彼はあえてむなしいものを慕って行ったからだ．

わたしは，エフライムには，しみのように，ユダの家には，腐れのようになる．

エフライムがおのれの病を見，ユダがおのれのはれものを見たとき，エフライムはアッシリヤに行き，大王に人を遣わした．しかし，彼はあなたがたをいやすことができず，あなたがたのはれものを直せない．

わたしは，エフライムには，獅子のように，ユダの家には，若い獅子のようになるからだ．このわたしが引き裂いて去る．わたしがかすめ去るが，だれも助け出す者はいない．

彼らが自分の罪を認め，わたしの顔を慕い求めるまで，わたしはわたしの所に戾っていよう．彼らは苦しみながら，わたしを搜し求めよう．

"Come, let us return to the LORD For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us.

"He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, That we may live before Him.

"So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth."

What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? For your loyalty is like a morning cloud And like the dew which goes away early.

Therefore I have hewn them in pieces by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth; And the judgments on you are like the light that goes forth.

「さあ，主に立ち返ろう．主は私たちを引き裂いたが，また，いやし，私たちを打ったが，また，包んでくださるからだ．

主は二日の後，私たちを生き返らせ，三日目に私たちを立ち上がらせる．私たちは，御前に生きるのだ．

私たちは，知ろう．主を知ることを切に追い求めよう．主は曉の光のように，確かに現われ，大雨のように，私たちのところに來，後の雨のように，地を潤される．」

エフライムよ．わたしはあなたに何をしようか．ユダよ．わたしはあなたに何をしようか．あなたがたの誠實は朝もやのようだ．朝早く消え去る露のようだ．

それゆえ，わたしは預言者たちによって，彼らを切り倒し，わたしの口のことばで彼らを殺す．わたしのさばきは光のように現われる．

For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice, And in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

But like Adam they have transgressed the covenant; There they have dealt treacherously against Me.

Gilead is a city of wrongdoers, Tracked with bloody footprints.

And as raiders wait for a man, So a band of priests murder on the way to Shechem; Surely they have committed crime.

In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing; Ephraim's harlotry is there, Israel has defiled itself.

わたしは誠實を喜ぶが，いけにえは喜ばない．全燒のいけにえより，むしろ神を知ることを喜ぶ．

ところが，彼らはアダムのように契約を破り，その時わたしを裏切った．

ギルアデは不法を行なう者の町，血の足跡に滿ちている．

盜賊が人を待ち伏せするように，祭司たちは仲間を組み，シェケムへの道で人を殺し，彼らは實にみだらなことをする．

イスラエルの家にわたしは恐るべきことを見た．エフライムは姦淫をし，イスラエルは身を汚している．

Also, O Judah, there is a harvest appointed for you, When I restore the fortunes of My people.

ユダよ．わたしが，わたしの民の捕われ人を歸らせるとき，あなたのためにも刈り入れが定まっている．

When I would heal Israel, The iniquity of Ephraim is uncovered, And the evil deeds of Samaria, For they deal falsely; The thief enters in, Bandits raid outside,

And they do not consider in their hearts That I remember all their wickedness Now their deeds are all around them; They are before My face.

With their wickedness they make the king glad, And the princes with their lies.

They are all adulterers, Like an oven heated by the baker Who ceases to stir up the fire From the kneading of the dough until it is leavened.

On the day of our king, the princes became sick with the heat of wine; He stretched out his hand with scoffers,

わたしがイスラエルをいやすとき，エフライムの不義と，サマリヤの惡とは，あらわにされる．彼らは僞りを行ない，盜人が押し入り，外では略奪隊が襲うからだ．

しかし，彼らは心に言い聞かせない，わたしが彼らのすべての惡を覺えていることを．今，彼らのわざは彼らを取り卷いて，わたしの前にある．

彼らは惡を行なって王を喜ばせ，僞りごとを言って首長たちを喜ばせる．

彼らはみな姦通する者だ．彼らは燃えるかまどのようだ．彼らはパン燒きであって，練り粉をこねてから，それがふくれるまで，火をおこすのをやめている．

For their hearts are like an oven As they approach their plotting; Their anger smolders all night, In the morning it burns like a flaming fire.

All of them are hot like an oven, And they consume their rulers; All their kings have fallen None of them calls on Me.

Ephraim mixes himself with the nations; Ephraim has become a cake not turned.

Strangers devour his strength, Yet he does not know it; Gray hairs also are sprinkled on him, Yet he does not know it.

Though the pride of Israel testifies against him, Yet they have not returned to the LORD their God, Nor have they sought Him, for all this.

彼らは陰謀をもって近づく．彼らの心はかまどのようで，その怒りは夜通しくすぶり，朝になると，燃える火のように燃える．

彼らはみな，かまどのように熱くなって，自分たちのさばきつかさを燒き盡くす．その王たちもみな倒れる．彼らのうちだれひとり，わたしを呼び求める者はいない．

エフライムは國¿の民の中に入り混じり，エフライムは生燒けのパン菓子となる．

So Ephraim has become like a silly dove, without sense; They call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.

When they go, I will spread My net over them; I will bring them down like the birds of the sky I will chastise them in accordance with the proclamation to their assembly.

Woe to them, for they have strayed from Me! Destruction is theirs, for they have rebelled against Me! I would redeem them, but they speak lies against Me.

And they do not cry to Me from their heart When they wail on their beds; For the sake of grain and new wine they assemble themselves, They turn away from Me.

Although I trained and strengthened their arms, Yet they devise evil against Me.

エフライムは，愚かで思慮のない鳩のようになった．彼らはエジプトを呼び立て，アッシリヤへ行く．

彼らが行くとき，わたしは彼らの上に網を張り，空の鳥のように彼らを引き落とし，その群れが ¿¿しくなるとき，わたしはこれを懲らす．

ああ，彼らは．彼らはわたしから逃げ去ったからだ．彼らは踏みにじられよ．彼らはわたしにそむいたからだ．わたしは彼らを ·おうとするが彼らはわたしにまやかしを言う．

They turn, but not upward, They are like a deceitful bow; Their princes will fall by the sword Because of the insolence of their tongue This will be their derision in the land of Egypt.

彼らはむなしいものに立ち返る．彼らはたるんだ弓のようだ．彼らの首長たちは，神をののしったために，劍に倒れる．これはエジプトの國であざけりとなる．

Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle the enemy comes against the house of the LORD, Because they have transgressed My covenant And rebelled against My law.

They cry out to Me, "My God, we of Israel know You!"

Israel has rejected the good; The enemy will pursue him.

They have set up kings, but not by Me; They have appointed princes, but I did not know it With their silver and gold they have made idols for themselves, That they might be cut off.

He has rejected your calf, O Samaria, saying, "My anger burns against them!" How long will they be incapable of innocence?

角笛を口に當てよ．鷲のように敵は主の宮を襲う．彼らがわたしの契約を破り，わたしのおしえにそむいたからだ．

彼らは，わたしに向かって，「私の神よ．私たちイスラエルは，あなたを知っている．」と叫ぶが，

イスラエルは善を拒んだ．敵は，彼らに追い迫っている．

彼らは王を立てた．だが，わたしによってではない．彼らは首長を立てた．だが，わたしは知らなかった．彼らは銀と金で自分たちのために偶像を造った．彼らが斷たれるために．

サマリヤよ．わたしはあなたの子牛をはねつける．わたしはこれに向かって怒りを燃やす．彼らはいつになれば，罪のない者となれるのか．

For from Israel is even this! A craftsman made it, so it is not God; Surely the calf of Samaria will be broken to pieces.

For they sow the wind And they reap the whirlwind The standing grain has no heads; It yields no grain. Should it yield, strangers would swallow it up.

Israel is swallowed up; They are now among the nations Like a vessel in which no one delights.

For they have gone up to Assyria, Like a wild donkey all alone; Ephraim has hired lovers.

Even though they hire allies among the nations, Now I will gather them up; And they will begin to diminish Because of the burden of the king of princes.

彼らはイスラエルの出．それは職人が造ったもの．それは神ではない．サマリヤの子牛は粉¿に ¿かれる．

彼らは風を蒔いて，つむじ風を刈り取る．麥には穗が出ない．麥粉も作れない．たといできても，他國人がこれを食い盡くす．

イスラエルはのみこまれた．今，彼らは諸國の民の間にあって，だれにも喜ばれない器のようだ．

彼らは，ひとりぼっちの野ろばで，アッシリヤへ上って行った．エフライムは愛の贈り物をした．

彼らが諸國の民の間で物を贈っても，今，わたしは彼らを寄せ集める．しばらくすれば，彼らは王や首長たちの重荷を負わなくなるであろう．

Since Ephraim has multiplied altars for sin, They have become altars of sinning for him.

Though I wrote for him ten thousand precepts of My law, They are regarded as a strange thing.

As for My sacrificial gifts, They sacrifice the flesh and eat it, But the LORD has taken no delight in them Now He will remember their iniquity, And punish them for their sins; They will return to Egypt.

For Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; And Judah has multiplied fortified cities, But I will send a fire on its cities that it may consume its palatial dwellings.

エフライムは罪のために多くの祭壇を造ったが，これが� ゥえって罪を犯すための祭壇となった．

わたしが彼のために，多くのおしえを書いても，彼らはこれを他國人のもののようにみなす．

彼らがわたしにいけにえをささげ，肉を食べても，主はこれを喜ばない．今，主は彼らの不義を覺え，その罪を罰せられる．彼らはエジプトに歸るであろう．
