 성별되어 제사장 직분을 맡은 레위 지파의 족보와 그들이 거주하는 성읍에 대하여 기록되어 있다.
  
  레위의 후손(6:1-6:81)    
 
  1. The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari.
  2. The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.
  3. The children of Amram: Aaron, Moses and Miriam. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
  4. Eleazar was the father of Phinehas, Phinehas the father of Abishua,
  5. Abishua the father of Bukki, Bukki the father of Uzzi,
  1. 레위의 아들은 게르손, 크핫, 므라리.
  2. 게르손의 아들은 리브니, 시므이.
  3. 크핫의 아들은 아므람, 이스할, 헤브론, 우찌엘.
  4. 므라리의 아들은 마흘리, 무시. 레위의 씨족을 계보별로 보면 아래와 같다.

  1. Uzzi the father of Zerahiah, Zerahiah the father of Meraioth,
  2. Meraioth the father of Amariah, Amariah the father of Ahitub,

  4. Ahimaaz the father of Azariah, Azariah the father of Johanan,
  5. Johanan the father of Azariah (it was he who served as priest in the temple Solomon built in Jerusalem),

  3. Shallum the father of Hilkiah, Hilkiah the father of Azariah,
  4. Azariah the father of Seraiah, and Seraiah the father of Jehozadak.
  5. Jehozadak was deported when the LORD sent Judah and Jerusalem into exile by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
  1. 아히못의 아들은 엘카나, 그 다음 대는 소배, 그 다음 대는 나핫,

  2. These are the names of the sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei.
  3. The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.
  4. The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of the Levites listed according to their fathers:
  5. Of Gershon: Libni his son, Jehath his son, Zimmah his son,
  1. 다윗은 야훼의 궤가 성전에 안치되는 날부터 성전 음악을 책임질 사람들을 임명하였는데,

  3. Here are the men who served, together with their sons: From the Kohathites: Heman, the musician, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
  4. the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,
  5. the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,
  1. 그 윗대는 암시, 그 윗대는 바니, 그 윗대는 세멜,
  2. 그 윗대는 마흘리, 그 윗대는 무시, 그 윗대는 므라리, 그 윗대는 레위이다.
  3. 그들의 일족인 다른 레위인들은 하느님의 성전, 곧 성막에서 그 밖의 모든 일을 맡아보았다.
  4. 그러나 번제단과 분향단에서 제물을 살라 바치는 아주 거룩한 일은 아론과 그의 후손이 도맡았다. 하느님의 종 모세가 지시한 대로 이스라엘의 죄를 벗겨주는 일은 그들이 맡아 하였던 것이다.

  3. the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel;
  4. and Heman's associate Asaph, who served at his right hand: Asaph son of Berekiah, the son of Shimea,
  5. the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malkijah,

  1. 그러나 그 성읍에 딸린 밭과 촌락들은 여분네의 아들 갈렙에게 돌아갔다.
  2. 아론의 후손에게는 도피성 헤브론 외에 리브나와 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 야띨과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 에스드모아와 거기에 딸린 목장 지대,
  3. 힐렌과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 드빌과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대,
  4. 아산과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 벳세메스와 거기에 딸린 목장 지대가 돌아갔다.
  5. 베냐민 지파의 지역에서는 게바와 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 알레멧과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 아나돗과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대 등 모두 열세 성읍과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대가 그들에게 돌아갔다.
  1. the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,
  2. the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
  3. Their fellow Levites were assigned to all the other duties of the tabernacle, the house of God.
  4. But Aaron and his descendants were the ones who presented offerings on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense in connection with all that was done in the Most Holy Place, making atonement for Israel, in accordance with all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
  5. These were the descendants of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
  1. 나머지 크핫 후손의 씨족들은 므나쎄 반쪽 지파의 지역에서 열 성읍을 제비뽑아 나누어받았다.
  2. 게르손 후손의 씨족들은 이싸갈 지파, 아셀 지파, 납달리 지파, 바산에 있는 므나쎄 지파의 지역에서 열세 성읍을 나누어받았다.
  3. 므라리 후손의 씨족들은 르우벤 지파, 가드 지파, 즈불룬 지파의 지역에서 열두 성읍을 제비뽑아 나누어받았다.
  4. 이스라엘 백성들은 이 성읍들에 목장 지대를 붙여서 레위인들에게 주었다.
  5. 이 성읍들은 유다 지파, 시므온 지파, 베냐민 지파의 지역에서 제비를 뽑아 차출한 것이었다.
  1. Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,
  2. Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,
  3. Zadok his son and Ahimaaz his son.
  4. These were the locations of their settlements allotted as their territory (they were assigned to the descendants of Aaron who were from the Kohathite clan, because the first lot was for them):
  5. They were given Hebron in Judah with its surrounding pasturelands.
  1. 크핫 후손의 어떤 씨족들은 에브라임 지파의 지역에서도 몇 성읍을 나누어받았다.
  2. 에브라임 산악 지대에서 그들에게 돌아간 것은 도피성 세겜과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 게젤과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대,
  3. 욕므암과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 벳호론과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대,
  4. 아얄론과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 갓림몬과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대였다.
  5. 그리고 므나쎄 반쪽 지파의 지역에서 그들에게 돌아간 것은 아넬과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 빌르암과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대였다. 이상이 크핫의 씨족들에게 배당된 곳들이다.
  1. But the fields and villages around the city were given to Caleb son of Jephunneh.
  2. So the descendants of Aaron were given Hebron (a city of refuge), and Libnah, Jattir, Eshtemoa,
  3. Hilen, Debir,
  4. Ashan, Juttah and Beth Shemesh, together with their pasturelands.
  5. And from the tribe of Benjamin they were given Gibeon, Geba, Alemeth and Anathoth, together with their pasturelands. These towns, which were distributed among the Kohathite clans, were thirteen in all.
  1. 게르손 후손에게는 므나쎄 반쪽 지파의 지역에서 바산에 있는 골란과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 아스다롯과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대가 돌아갔다.
  2. 이싸갈 지파의 지역에서는 케데스와 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 다브랏과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대,
  3. 라못과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 아넴과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대가 그들에게 돌아갔다.
  4. 아셀 지파의 지역에서는 마살과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 압돈과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대,
  5. 후콕과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 르홉과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대가 돌아갔다.
  1. The rest of Kohath's descendants were allotted ten towns from the clans of half the tribe of Manasseh.
  2. The descendants of Gershon, clan by clan, were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher and Naphtali, and from the part of the tribe of Manasseh that is in Bashan.
  3. The descendants of Merari, clan by clan, were allotted twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Zebulun.
  4. So the Israelites gave the Levites these towns and their pasturelands.
  5. From the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin they allotted the previously named towns.
  1. 납달리 지파의 지역에서는 갈릴래아에 있는 케데스와 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 함몬과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 키랴다임과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대가 돌아갔다.
  2. 므라리의 나머지 후손들에게는 즈불룬 지파의 지역에서 림모노와 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 다볼과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대가 돌아갔다.
  3. 예리고 맞은편 요르단 강 건너 동쪽에 있는 르우벤 지파의 지역에서는 사막에 있는 베셀과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 야사와 거기에 딸린 목장 지대,
  4. 크데못과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 메바앗과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대가 그들에게 돌아갔다.
  5. 가드 지파의 지역에서는 길르앗에 있는 라못과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 마하나임과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대,
  1. Some of the Kohathite clans were given as their territory towns from the tribe of Ephraim.
  2. In the hill country of Ephraim they were given Shechem (a city of refuge), and Gezer,
  3. Jokmeam, Beth Horon,
  4. Aijalon and Gath Rimmon, together with their pasturelands.
  5. And from half the tribe of Manasseh the Israelites gave Aner and Bileam, together with their pasturelands, to the rest of the Kohathite clans.
  1. 헤스본과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대, 야젤과 거기에 딸린 목장 지대가 그들에게 돌아갔다.
  1. The Gershonites received the following: From the clan of the half-tribe of Manasseh they received Golan in Bashan and also Ashtaroth, together with their pasturelands;
  2. from the tribe of Issachar they received Kedesh, Daberath,
  3. Ramoth and Anem, together with their pasturelands;
  4. from the tribe of Asher they received Mashal, Abdon,
  5. Hukok and Rehob, together with their pasturelands;
  1. and from the tribe of Naphtali they received Kedesh in Galilee, Hammon and Kiriathaim, together with their pasturelands.
  2. The Merarites (the rest of the Levites) received the following: From the tribe of Zebulun they received Jokneam, Kartah, Rimmono and Tabor, together with their pasturelands;
  3. from the tribe of Reuben across the Jordan east of Jericho they received Bezer in the desert, Jahzah,
  4. Kedemoth and Mephaath, together with their pasturelands;
  5. and from the tribe of Gad they received Ramoth in Gilead, Mahanaim,
  1. Heshbon and Jazer, together with their pasturelands.
