민수기 26:1-26:65

 하나님의 명령에 따라, 가나안 땅에 들어가기에 앞서 모압 평지에서 두번째 인구 조사가 시행되었다.
  
  제2차 인구 조사(26:1-26:65)    
 
  1. After the plague the LORD said to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron, the priest,
  2. "Take a census of the whole Israelite community by families--all those twenty years old or more who are able to serve in the army of Israel."
  3. So on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them and said,
  4. "Take a census of the men twenty years old or more, as the LORD commanded Moses." These were the Israelites who came out of Egypt:
  5. The descendants of Reuben, the firstborn son of Israel, were: through Hanoch, the Hanochite clan; through Pallu, the Palluite clan;
  1. 그 재앙이 그친 후에 여호와께서 모세와 아론의 아들 제사장 엘르아살에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '모든 이스라엘 백성 가운데서 전쟁에 나가 싸울 수 있는 20세 이상의 사람이 몇 명이나 되는지 각 집안별로 조사하여라.'
  3. 그래서 모세와 제사장 엘르아살은 여리고 맞은편에 있는 요단 강변의 모압 평야에서 이스라엘 지도자들에게 지시하여 20세 이상의 남자들을 조사하게 하였는데 이집트에서 나온 사람들 가운데 20세 이상의 남자들은 다음과 같다.

  5. 야곱의 장남 르우벤의 자손들인 하녹, 발루, 헤스론, 갈미의 집안에서 20세 이상의 남자가 43,730명이었다.
  1. through Hezron, the Hezronite clan; through Carmi, the Carmite clan.
  2. These were the clans of Reuben; those numbered were 43,730.
  3. The son of Pallu was Eliab,
  4. and the sons of Eliab were Nemuel, Dathan and Abiram. The same Dathan and Abiram were the community officials who rebelled against Moses and Aaron and were among Korah's followers when they rebelled against the LORD.
  5. The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them along with Korah, whose followers died when the fire devoured the 250 men. And they served as a warning sign.

  4. 엘리압의 아들은 느무엘과 다단과 아비람이었다. 이 다단과 아비람은 백성의 지도자로서 고라와 음모하여 모세와 아론을 반역하고 여호와를 거역한 자들인데
  5. 이들은 땅이 입을 벌려 고라의 일당을 삼켰을 때 그들과 함께 죽임을 당했다. 그리고 그때 불이 고라의 추종자 250명을 태워 죽여 이스라엘 백성에게 경고가 되었으나
  1. The line of Korah, however, did not die out.
  2. The descendants of Simeon by their clans were: through Nemuel, the Nemuelite clan; through Jamin, the Jaminite clan; through Jakin, the Jakinite clan;
  3. through Zerah, the Zerahite clan; through Shaul, the Shaulite clan.
  4. These were the clans of Simeon; there were 22,200 men.
  5. The descendants of Gad by their clans were: through Zephon, the Zephonite clan; through Haggi, the Haggite clan; through Shuni, the Shunite clan;
  1. 고라의 아들들만은 죽지 않았다.
  2. 시므온의 자손들인 느무엘, 야민, 야긴, 세라, 사울 집안에서는 20세 이상의 남자가 22,200명,

  1. through Ozni, the Oznite clan; through Eri, the Erite clan;
  2. through Arodi, the Arodite clan; through Areli, the Arelite clan.
  3. These were the clans of Gad; those numbered were 40,500.
  4. Er and Onan were sons of Judah, but they died in Canaan.
  5. The descendants of Judah by their clans were: through Shelah, the Shelanite clan; through Perez, the Perezite clan; through Zerah, the Zerahite clan.

  4. 유다의 자손들인 셀라, 베레스, 세라, 헤스론, 하물의 집안에서는 76,500명이었다. 유다의 두 아들인 엘과 오난은 가나안 땅에서 죽었다.

  1. The descendants of Perez were: through Hezron, the Hezronite clan; through Hamul, the Hamulite clan.
  2. These were the clans of Judah; those numbered were 76,500.
  3. The descendants of Issachar by their clans were: through Tola, the Tolaite clan; through Puah, the Puite clan;
  4. through Jashub, the Jashubite clan; through Shimron, the Shimronite clan.
  5. These were the clans of Issachar; those numbered were 64,300.

  1. The descendants of Zebulun by their clans were: through Sered, the Seredite clan; through Elon, the Elonite clan; through Jahleel, the Jahleelite clan.
  2. These were the clans of Zebulun; those numbered were 60,500.
  3. The descendants of Joseph by their clans through Manasseh and Ephraim were:
  4. The descendants of Manasseh: through Makir, the Makirite clan (Makir was the father of Gilead through Gilead, the Gileadite clan.
  5. These were the descendants of Gilead: through Iezer, the Iezerite clan; through Helek, the Helekite clan;
  1. 스불론의 자손들인 세렛, 엘론, 얄르엘 집안에서는 60,500명이었다.

  1. through Asriel, the Asrielite clan; through Shechem, the Shechemite clan;
  2. through Shemida, the Shemidaite clan; through Hepher, the Hepherite clan.
  3. (Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons; he had only daughters, whose names were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.)
  4. These were the clans of Manasseh; those numbered were 52,700.
  5. These were the descendants of Ephraim by their clans: through Shuthelah, the Shuthelahite clan; through Beker, the Bekerite clan; through Tahan, the Tahanite clan.

  3. The descendants of Benjamin by their clans were: through Bela, the Belaite clan; through Ashbel, the Ashbelite clan; through Ahiram, the Ahiramite clan;
  4. through Shupham, the Shuphamite clan; through Hupham, the Huphamite clan.
  5. The descendants of Bela through Ard and Naaman were: through Ard, the Ardite clan; through Naaman, the Naamite clan.

  2. 이들은 다 에브라임 자손들이며 이들 집안 가운데서 20세 이상의 남자는 모두 32,500명이었다.
  3. 베냐민 자손들은 벨라, 아스벨, 아히람, 스부밤, 후밤 집안 사람들이었으며

  1. These were the clans of Benjamin; those numbered were 45,600.
  2. These were the descendants of Dan by their clans: through Shuham, the Shuhamite clan. These were the clans of Dan:
  3. All of them were Shuhamite clans; and those numbered were 64,400.
  4. The descendants of Asher by their clans were: through Imnah, the Imnite clan; through Ishvi, the Ishvite clan; through Beriah, the Beriite clan;
  5. and through the descendants of Beriah: through Heber, the Heberite clan; through Malkiel, the Malkielite clan.
  1. 이들은 베냐민의 자손들이며 이들 집안에서 20세 이상의 남자는 45,600명이었다.
  2. 그리고 단의 자손인 수함 집안에서는 20세 이상의 남자가 64,400명이었다.

  3. The descendants of Naphtali by their clans were: through Jahzeel, the Jahzeelite clan; through Guni, the Gunite clan;
  4. through Jezer, the Jezerite clan; through Shillem, the Shillemite clan.
  5. These were the clans of Naphtali; those numbered were 45,400.
  1. 또 아셀에게는 세라라는 딸이 있었다.
  2. 이들은 아셀의 자손들이며 이들 집안에서 20세 이상의 남자는 53,400명이었다.
  3. 그리고 납달리 자손들인 야셀, 구니, 예셀, 실렘 집안에서는 20세 이상의 남자가 45,400명이었다.

  1. The total number of the men of Israel was 601,730.
  2. The LORD said to Moses,
  3. "The land is to be allotted to them as an inheritance based on the number of names.
  4. To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one; each is to receive its inheritance according to the number of those listed.
  5. Be sure that the land is distributed by lot. What each group inherits will be according to the names for its ancestral tribe.
  1. 이상은 이스라엘 백성 가운데 20세 이상의 남자들이며 그 전체 인원은 601,730명이었다.
  2. 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  3. '너는 그들의 인원수에 비례하여 땅을 나누어 주어라.
  4. 인원수가 많은 지파에게는 많은 땅을 주고 인원수가 적은 지파에게는 땅을 적게 주어라.
  5. 그러나 각 지파의 조상 이름을 따라서
  1. Each inheritance is to be distributed by lot among the larger and smaller groups."
  2. These were the Levites who were counted by their clans: through Gershon, the Gershonite clan; through Kohath, the Kohathite clan; through Merari, the Merarite clan.
  3. These also were Levite clans: the Libnite clan, the Hebronite clan, the Mahlite clan, the Mushite clan, the Korahite clan. (Kohath was the forefather of Amram;
  4. the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, a descendant of Levi, who was born to the Levites in Egypt. To Amram she bore Aaron, Moses and their sister Miriam.
  5. Aaron was the father of Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
  1. 인원수가 많은 지파들은 넓은 땅을 차지할 지파들끼리 제비를 뽑고 인원수가 적은 지파들은 적은 땅을 차지할 지파들끼리 제비를 뽑게 하라.'
  2. 레위 지파는 게르손, 고핫, 므라리 집안 사람들로 구성되었으며
  3. 그들의 자손들은 립니, 헤브론, 마흘리, 무시, 고라 가족이었다. 그리고 고핫은 아므람을 낳았다.
  4. 아므람의 아내는 이집트에서 태어난 레위의 딸 요게벳이었으며 아므람과 요게벳 사이에서 아론과 모세와 그들의 누이 미리암이 태어났다.
  5. 그리고 아론에게는 나답, 아비후, 엘르아살, 이다말 네 아들이 있었으며
  1. But Nadab and Abihu died when they made an offering before the LORD with unauthorized fire.)
  2. All the male Levites a month old or more numbered 23,000. They were not counted along with the other Israelites because they received no inheritance among them.
  3. These are the ones counted by Moses and Eleazar the priest when they counted the Israelites on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.
  4. Not one of them was among those counted by Moses and Aaron the priest when they counted the Israelites in the Desert of Sinai.
  5. For the LORD had told those Israelites they would surely die in the desert, and not one of them was left except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
  1. 나답과 아비후는 여호와께서 명령하시지 않은 다른 불로 분향하다가 죽었다.
  2. 이들 레위 사람들은 분배받을 땅이 없었기 때문에 별도로 인구 조사를 받았는데 그들 가운데 1개월 이상의 남자는 모두 23,000명이었다.
  3. 이상은 모세와 재사장 엘르아살이 여리고 맞은편에 있는 요단 강변의 모압 평야에서 실시한 인구 조사였다.
  4. 그러나 여기에는 모세와 제사장 아론이 시나이 광야에서 인구 조사를 실시할 당시의 사람들은 하나도 포함되지 않았다.
  5. 여호와께서는 그들이 광야에서 다 죽을 것이라고 말씀하셨으므로 여분네의 아들 갈렙과 눈의 아들 여호수아 외에는 한 사람도 살아 남은 자가 없었다.
