마태복음 15:29-16:12

 예수님께서는 갈릴리 호숫가에서 많은 병자들을 고치셨으며, 떡 일곱 개와 물고기 두 마리로 사천 명을 먹이셨다. 바리새인들이 이 시대의 표적을 구하자 예수님께서는 자신의 죽음과 부활을 예표하는 요나의 표적을 말씀하시면서 제자들에게 바리새인과 사두개인들의 교훈을 경계시키셨다.
  
  칠병 이어의 기적(15:29-15:39)    
 
  1. Jesus left there and went along the Sea of Galilee. Then he went up on a mountainside and sat down.
  2. Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.
  3. The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.
  4. Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way."
  5. His disciples answered, "Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?"
  1. 예수께서 거기에서 떠나서, 갈릴리 바닷가에 가셨다. 그리고 산에 올라가서, 거기에 앉으셨다.
  2. 많은 무리가, 걷지 못하는 사람과 지체를 잃은 사람과 눈 먼 사람과 말 못하는 사람과 그 밖에 아픈 사람을 많이 데리고 예수께로 다가와서, 그 발 앞에 놓았다. 그러자 예수께서는 그들을 고쳐 주셨다.
  3. 그래서 무리는, 말 못하는 사람이 말을 하고, 지체 장애인이 성한 몸이 되고, 걷지 못하는 사람이 걸어다니고, 눈 먼 사람이 보게 된 것을 보고 놀랐고, 이스라엘의 하나님께 영광을 돌렸다.
  4. 그 때에 예수께서 제자들을 가까이 불러 놓고 말씀하셨다. "저 무리가 나와 함께 있은 지가 벌써 사흘이나 되었는데, 먹을 것이 없으니, 가엾다. 그들을 굶주린 채로 돌려보내고 싶지 않다. 가다가 길에서 쓰러질지도 모른다."
  5. 제자들이 예수께 말하였다. "여기는 빈 들인데, 이 많은 무리를 배불리 먹일 만한 빵을 무슨 수로 구하겠습니까?"
  1. "How many loaves do you have?" Jesus asked. "Seven," they replied, "and a few small fish."
  2. He told the crowd to sit down on the ground.
  3. Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people.
  4. They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
  5. The number of those who ate was four thousand, besides women and children.
  1. 예수께서 그들에게 물으셨다. "너희에게 빵이 몇 개나 있느냐?" 그들이 대답하였다. "일곱 개가 있습니다. 그리고 작은 물고기가 몇 마리 있습니다."
  2. 예수께서 무리에게 명하여 땅에 앉게 하시고 나서,
  3. 빵 일곱 개와 물고기를 들어서 감사 기도를 드리신 다음에, 떼어서 제자들에게 주시니, 제자들이 무리에게 나누어주었다.
  4. 사람들이 모두 배불리 먹었다. 그리고 나서 남은 부스러기를 주워 모으니, 일곱 광주리에 가득 찼다.
  5. 먹은 사람은 여자들과 아이들 외에도, 남자만 사천 명이었다.
  1. After Jesus had sent the crowd away, he got into the boat and went to the vicinity of Magadan.
  1. 예수께서 무리를 헤쳐 보내신 뒤에, 배에 올라 마가단 지역으로 가셨다.
 
  바리새인과 사두개인의 누룩(16:1-16:12)    
 
  1. The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.
  2. He replied, "When evening comes, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,'
  3. and in the morning, 'Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.' You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.
  4. A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah." Jesus then left them and went away.
  5. When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take bread.
  1. 바리새파 사람들과 사두개파 사람들이 와서, 예수를 시험하느라고, 하늘로부터 내리는 표징을 자기들에게 보여 달라고 요청하였다.
  2. 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. ["너희는 저녁 때에는 '하늘이 붉은 것을 보니 내일은 날씨가 맑겠구나' 하고,
  3. 아침에는 '하늘이 붉고 흐린 것을 보니 오늘은 날씨가 궂겠구나' 한다. 너희는 하늘의 징조는 분별할 줄 알면서, 시대의 징조들은 분별하지 못하느냐?]
  4. 악하고 음란한 세대가 표징을 요구하지만, 이 세대는, 요나의 표징 밖에는, 아무 표징도 받지 못할 것이다." 그리고 나서 예수께서는 그들을 남겨 두고 떠나가셨다.
  5. 제자들이 건너편에 이르렀는데, 그들은 빵을 가져 오는 것을 잊었다.
  1. "Be careful," Jesus said to them. "Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees."
  2. They discussed this among themselves and said, "It is because we didn't bring any bread."
  3. Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, "You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread?
  4. Do you still not understand? Don't you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?
  5. Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?
  1. 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 바리새파 사람들과 사두개파 사람들의 누룩을 주의하고 경계하여라."
  2. 그들은 서로 수군거리며 말하였다. "우리가 빵을 가져오지 않았구나!"
  3. 예수께서 이것을 아시고 말씀하셨다. "믿음이 적은 사람들아, 어찌하여 너희는 빵이 없다는 것을 두고 서로 수군거리느냐?
  4. 너희는 아직도 깨닫지 못하느냐? 오천 명이 먹은 그 빵 다섯 개를 기억하지 못하느냐? 부스러기를 몇 광주리나 거두었더냐?
  5. 또한 사천 명이 먹은 그 빵 일곱 개를 기억하지 못하느냐? 부스러기를 몇 광주리나 거두었더냐?
  1. How is it you don't understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees."
  2. Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
  1. 내가 빵을 두고 너희에게 말한 것이 아님을, 너희는 어찌하여 깨닫지 못하느냐? 바리새파 사람들과 사두개파 사람들의 누룩을 경계하여라."
  2. 그제서야 그들은, 빵의 누룩이 아니라, 바리새파 사람들과 사두개파 사람들의 가르침을 경계하라고 하시는 말씀인 줄을 깨달았다.
 
  표적(表蹟, 16:1)  도표의 표지판처럼 곧 나타날 실체를 미리 예고해 주는 사건 또는 사실
