- When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
- And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
- Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne.
- The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand.
- Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

- 小羊が 第七の 封印を 解いたとき， 天に 半時間ばかり 靜けさがあった．
- それから 私は， 神の 御前に 立つ 七人の 御使いを 見た． 彼らに 七つの ラッパ が 與えられた．
- また， もうひとりの 御使いが 出て 來て， 金の 香爐を 持って 祭壇のところに 立った． 彼にたくさんの 香が 與えられた． すべての 聖徒の 祈りとともに， 御座の 前にある 金の 祭壇の 上にささげるためであった．
- 香の 煙は， 聖徒たちの 祈りとともに， 御使いの 手から 神の 御前に 立ち 上った．
- それから， 御使いは， その 香爐を 取り， 祭壇の 火でそれを 滿たしてから， 地に 投げつけた． すると， 雷鳴と 聲といなずまと 地震が 起こった．

- Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
- The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
- The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood,
- a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
- The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water--

- すると， 七つの ラッパ を 持っていた 七人の 御使いは ラッパ を 吹く 用意をした．
- 第一の 御使いが ラッパ を 吹き 鳴らした． すると， 血の 混じった 音と 火とが 現われ， 地上に 投げられた． そして 地上の 三分の 一が 燒け， 木の 三分の 一も 燒け， 靑草が 全部燒けてしまった．
- 第二の 御使いが ラッパ を 吹き 鳴らした． すると， 火の 燃えている 大きな 山のようなものが， 海に 投げ ¿まれた． そして 海の 三分の 一が 血となった．
- すると， 海の 中にいた， いのちのあるものの 三分の 一が 死に， 舟の 三分の 一も 打ちこわされた．
- 第三の 御使いが ラッパ を 吹き 鳴らした． すると， たいまつのように 燃えている 大きな 星が 天から 落ちて 來て， 川¿の 三分の 一とその 水源に 落ちた．

- the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

- この 星の 名は 苦よもぎと 呼ばれ， 川の 水の 三分の 一は 苦よもぎのようになった． 水が 苦くなったので， その 水のために 多くの 人が 死んだ．
- 第四の 御使いが ラッパ を 吹き 鳴らした． すると， 太陽の 三分の 一と， 月の 三分の 一と， 星の 三分の 一とが 打たれたので， 三分の 一は 暗くなり， ¿の 三分の 一は 光を 失い， また 夜も 同樣であった．
- また 私は 見た． 一羽のわしが 中天を 飛びながら， 大聲で 言うのを 聞いた． 「わざわいが 來る． わざわいが， わざわいが 來る． 地に 住む 人¿に． あと 三人の 御使いが ラッパ を 吹き 鳴らそうとしている． 」
