마태복음 26:69-27:14

 예수님을 따르던 베드로는 예언대로 예수님을 세 번 부인하였다. 총독 빌라도에게 넘겨진 예수님은 다시 심문을 받게 되었고 무죄한 예수님을 팔아 넘긴 유다는 자살하고 말았다.
  
  제자들의 배반(26:69-27:14)    
 
  1. Now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came to him. "You also were with Jesus of Galilee," she said.
  2. But he denied it before them all. "I don't know what you're talking about," he said.
  3. Then he went out to the gateway, where another girl saw him and said to the people there, "This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth."
  4. He denied it again, with an oath: "I don't know the man!"
  5. After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, "Surely you are one of them, for your accent gives you away."
  1. ペトロ は 外にいて 中庭に 座っていた． そこへ 一人の 女中が 近寄って 來て， 「あなたも ガリラヤ の イエス と 一緖にいた 」と 言った．
  2. ペトロ は 皆の 前でそれを 打ち 消して， 「何のことを 言っているのか， わたしには 分からない 」と 言った．
  3. ペトロ が 門の 方に 行くと， ほかの 女中が 彼に 目を 留め， 居合わせた 人¿に， 「この 人は ナザレ の イエス と 一緖にいました 」と 言った．
  4. そこで， ペトロ は 再び， 「そんな 人は 知らない 」と 誓って 打ち 消した．
  5. しばらくして， そこにいた 人¿が 近寄って 來て ペトロ に 言った． 「確かに， お 前もあの 連中の 仲間だ． 言葉遣いでそれが 分かる． 」
  1. Then he began to call down curses on himself and he swore to them, "I don't know the man!" Immediately a rooster crowed.
  2. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: "Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times." And he went outside and wept bitterly.
  1. そのとき， ペトロ は 呪いの 言葉さえ 口にしながら， 「そんな 人は 知らない 」と 誓い 始めた． するとすぐ， 鷄が 鳴いた．
  2. ペトロ は， 「鷄が 鳴く 前に， あなたは 三度わたしを 知らないと 言うだろう 」と 言われた イエス の 言葉を 思い 出した． そして 外に 出て， 激しく 泣いた．
 
 
  1. Early in the morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people came to the decision to put Jesus to death.
  2. They bound him, led him away and handed him over to Pilate, the governor.
  3. When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and the elders.
  4. "I have sinned," he said, "for I have betrayed innocent blood." "What is that to us?" they replied. "That's your responsibility."
  5. So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.
  1. 夜が 明けると， 祭司長たちと 民の 長老たち 一同は， イエス を 殺そうと 相談した．
  2. そして， イエス を 縛って 引いて 行き， 總督 ピラト に 渡した．
  3. そのころ， イエス を 裏切った ユダ は， イエス に 有罪の 判決が 下ったのを 知って 後悔し， 銀貨三十枚を 祭司長たちや 長老たちに 返そうとして，
  4. 「わたしは 罪のない 人の 血を 賣り 渡し， 罪を 犯しました 」と 言った． しかし 彼らは， 「我¿の 知ったことではない． お 前の 問題だ 」と 言った．
  5. そこで， ユダ は 銀貨を 神殿に 投げ ¿んで 立ち 去り， 首をつって 死んだ．
  1. The chief priests picked up the coins and said, "It is against the law to put this into the treasury, since it is blood money."
  2. So they decided to use the money to buy the potter's field as a burial place for foreigners.
  3. That is why it has been called the Field of Blood to this day.
  4. Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: "They took the thirty silver coins, the price set on him by the people of Israel,
  5. and they used them to buy the potter's field, as the Lord commanded me."
  1. 祭司長たちは 銀貨を 拾い 上げて， 「これは 血の 代金だから， 神殿の 收入にするわけにはいかない 」と 言い，
  2. 相談のうえ， その 金で「陶器職人の 畑 」を 買い， 外國人の 墓地にすることにした．
  3. このため， この 畑は 今日まで「血の 畑 」と 言われている．
  4. こうして， 預言者 エレミヤ を 通して 言われていたことが 實現した． 「彼らは 銀貨三十枚を 取った． それは， 値踏みされた 者， すなわち， イスラエル の 子らが 値踏みした 者の 價である．
  5. 主がわたしにお 命じになったように， 彼らはこの 金で 陶器職人の 畑を 買い 取った． 」
  1. Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, "Are you the king of the Jews?" "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied.
  2. When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer.
  3. Then Pilate asked him, "Don't you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?"
  4. But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge--to the great amazement of the governor.
  1. さて， イエス は 總督の 前に 立たれた． 總督が イエス に， 「お 前が ユダヤ 人の 王なのか 」と 尋問すると， イエス は， 「それは， あなたが 言っていることです 」と 言われた．
  2. 祭司長たちや 長老たちから 訴えられている 間， これには 何もお 答えにならなかった．
  3. すると ピラト は， 「あのようにお 前に 不利な 證言をしているのに， 聞こえないのか 」と 言った．
  4. それでも， どんな 訴えにもお 答えにならなかったので， 總督は 非常に 不思議に 思った．
