민수기 35:1-36:13

하나님께서는 이스라엘 백성에게 그들의 기업 중 일부를 레위인에게 줄 것을 명하셨다. 레위인은 모두 48성읍을 받게 되었는데, 하나님께서는 그 중 6성읍을 도피성으로 정하여 과실로 살인한 자들이 피할 수 있게 하셨다. 슬로브핫 딸들은 하나님께서 제정하신 여성 상속법에 따라 자신과 같은 지파 남자와 결혼하여 기업을 지켰다.
 
  레위 지파의 성읍(35:1-35:34)    
 
  1. On the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, the LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in from the inheritance the Israelites will possess. And give them pasturelands around the towns.
  3. Then they will have towns to live in and pasturelands for their cattle, flocks and all their other livestock.
  4. "The pasturelands around the towns that you give the Levites will extend out fifteen hundred feet from the town wall.
  5. Outside the town, measure three thousand feet on the east side, three thousand on the south side, three thousand on the west and three thousand on the north, with the town in the center. They will have this area as pastureland for the towns.
  1. エリコ に 近い ヨルダン 川の 對岸にある モアブ の 平野で, 主は モ ― セ に 仰せになった.

  1. "Six of the towns you give the Levites will be cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone may flee. In addition, give them forty-two other towns.
  2. In all you must give the Levites forty-eight towns, together with their pasturelands.
  3. The towns you give the Levites from the land the Israelites possess are to be given in proportion to the inheritance of each tribe: Take many towns from a tribe that has many, but few from one that has few."
  4. Then the LORD said to Moses:
  5. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you cross the Jordan into Canaan,
  1. あなたたちは, 人を 殺した 者が 逃れるための 逃れの 町を 六つ レビ 人に 與え, それに 加えて 四十二の 町を 與えなさい.
  2. レビ 人に 與える 町は, 合計四十八の 町とその 放牧地である.
  3. イスラエル の 人¿の 所有地の 中からあなたたちが 取る 町については, 大きい 部族からは 多く 取り, 小さい 部族からは 少なく 取り, それぞれ, その 受ける 嗣業の 土地の 大きさに 應じて, その 町の 一部を レビ 人に 與えなければならない.

  1. select some towns to be your cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone accidentally may flee.
  2. They will be places of refuge from the avenger, so that a person accused of murder may not die before he stands trial before the assembly.
  3. These six towns you give will be your cities of refuge.
  4. Give three on this side of the Jordan and three in Canaan as cities of refuge.
  5. These six towns will be a place of refuge for Israelites, aliens and any other people living among them, so that anyone who has killed another accidentally can flee there.
  1. 自分たちのために 幾つかの 町を 選んで 逃れの 町とし, 過って 人を 殺した 者が 逃げ ¿むことができるようにしなさい.

  1. " 'If a man strikes someone with an iron object so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.
  2. Or if anyone has a stone in his hand that could kill, and he strikes someone so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.
  3. Or if anyone has a wooden object in his hand that could kill, and he hits someone so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.
  4. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death; when he meets him, he shall put him to death.
  5. If anyone with malice aforethought shoves another or throws something at him intentionally so that he dies
  1. もし, 人が 鐵の 道具でだれかを 打って 死なせた 場合, その 人は 殺害者である. 殺害者は 必ず 死刑に 處せられる.
  2. もし, 人を 殺せるほどの 石を 手にして, だれかを 打って 死なせた 場合, その 人は 殺害者である. 殺害者は 必ず 死刑に 處せられる.
  3. もし, 人を 殺せるほどの 木の 道具でだれかを 打って 死なせた 場合, その 人は 殺害者である. 殺害者は 必ず 死刑に 處せられる.
  4. 血の 復讐をする 者は, 自分でその 殺害者を 殺すことができる. 彼と 出會うとき, 自分で 殺すことができる.
  5. もし, 憎しみを ¿めて 人を 突くか, 故意に 人に 物を 投げつけるかして, 死なせるか,
  1. or if in hostility he hits him with his fist so that he dies, that person shall be put to death; he is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.
  2. " 'But if without hostility someone suddenly shoves another or throws something at him unintentionally
  3. or, without seeing him, drops a stone on him that could kill him, and he dies, then since he was not his enemy and he did not intend to harm him,
  4. the assembly must judge between him and the avenger of blood according to these regulations.
  5. The assembly must protect the one accused of murder from the avenger of blood and send him back to the city of refuge to which he fled. He must stay there until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.

  4. " 'These are to be legal requirements for you throughout the generations to come, wherever you live.
  5. " 'Anyone who kills a person is to be put to death as a murderer only on the testimony of witnesses. But no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.
  1. しかしもし, 人を 殺した 者が, 逃げ ¿んだ 逃れの 町の 境の 外に 出た 場合,
  2. 血の 復讐をする 者が 逃れの 町の 境の 外でこれと 出會い, 血の 復讐をする 者が, 人を 殺した 者を 殺したとしても, 彼には 血を 流した 罪はない.

  1. " 'Do not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer, who deserves to die. He must surely be put to death.
  2. " 'Do not accept a ransom for anyone who has fled to a city of refuge and so allow him to go back and live on his own land before the death of the high priest.
  3. " 'Do not pollute the land where you are. Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it.
  4. Do not defile the land where you live and where I dwell, for I, the LORD, dwell among the Israelites.' "
  1. あなたたちは, 死罪の 判決を 受けた 殺害者の 生命と 引き 換えに ·い 金を 受け 取ってはならない. 彼は 必ず 死刑に 處せられなければならない.
  2. あなたたちは, 祭司が 死ぬまでは, 逃れの 町に 逃げ ¿んだ 者から ·い 金を 受け 取って 國に 歸らせて, 生活させてはならない.

  슬로브핫 딸들의 기업(36:1-36:13)    
 
  1. The family heads of the clan of Gilead son of Makir, the son of Manasseh, who were from the clans of the descendants of Joseph, came and spoke before Moses and the leaders, the heads of the Israelite families.
  2. They said, "When the LORD commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance to the Israelites by lot, he ordered you to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.
  3. Now suppose they marry men from other Israelite tribes; then their inheritance will be taken from our ancestral inheritance and added to that of the tribe they marry into. And so part of the inheritance allotted to us will be taken away.
  4. When the Year of Jubilee for the Israelites comes, their inheritance will be added to that of the tribe into which they marry, and their property will be taken from the tribal inheritance of our forefathers."
  5. Then at the LORD's command Moses gave this order to the Israelites: "What the tribe of the descendants of Joseph is saying is right.
  1. ヨセフ の 子孫の 氏族のうち, マナセ の 孫で, マキル の 子である ギレアド の 子孫の 家長たちが 進み 出て, モ ― セ と イスラエル の 人¿の 家長である 指導者たちに 訴えた.
  2. 「主はくじにより, 土地を 嗣業の 土地として イスラエル の 人¿に 與えるように, わが 主よ, あなたにお 命じになり, わが 主は, わたしたちの 親族 ツェロフハド の 嗣業の 土地をその 娘たちに 與えるように, 主から 命じられました.
  3. もしその 娘たちが 他の 部族の イスラエル 人のだれかと 結婚するとしますと, 娘たちの 嗣業の 土地はわたしたちの 先祖の 嗣業の 土地から 削られ, 嫁いだ 先の 部族の 嗣業の 土地に 加えられることになり, それは, くじによって 割り 當てられたわたしたちの 嗣業の 土地から 削られてしまいます.
  4. イスラエル の 人¿に ヨベル の 年が 訪れると, 娘たちの 嗣業の 土地は 嫁いだ 先の 部族の 嗣業の 土地に 加えられ, その 娘たちの 嗣業の 土地はわたしたちの 父祖以來の 部族の 嗣業の 土地から 削られてしまいます. 」
  5. モ ― セ は, 主の 命令に 從って イスラエル の 人¿に 命じた. 「ヨセフ の 子孫の 部族の 言うところはもっともである.
  1. This is what the LORD commands for Zelophehad's daughters: They may marry anyone they please as long as they marry within the tribal clan of their father.
  2. No inheritance in Israel is to pass from tribe to tribe, for every Israelite shall keep the tribal land inherited from his forefathers.
  3. Every daughter who inherits land in any Israelite tribe must marry someone in her father's tribal clan, so that every Israelite will possess the inheritance of his fathers.
  4. No inheritance may pass from tribe to tribe, for each Israelite tribe is to keep the land it inherits."
  5. So Zelophehad's daughters did as the LORD commanded Moses.
  1. ツェロフハド の 娘たちについて, 主がお 命じになったことはこうである. 娘たちは 自分を 氣に 入ってくれた 男と 結婚してよい. ただ, 父方の 部族の 一族の 者とだけ 結婚できる.
  2. イスラエル の 人¿の 嗣業の 土地が 一つの 部族から 他の 部族に 移ることはなく, イスラエル の 人¿はそれぞれ, 父祖以來の 部族の 嗣業の 土地を 固く 守っていかなければならない.
  3. イスラエル の 人¿の 諸部族の 中で, 嗣業の 土地を 相續している 娘はだれでも, 父方の 部族の 一族の 男と 結婚しなければならない. それにより, イスラエル の 人¿はそれぞれ, 父祖傳來の 嗣業の 土地を 相續することができる.
  4. 嗣業の 土地が 一つの 部族から 他の 部族に 移ることはないであろう. イスラエル の 人¿の 諸部族はそれぞれ, 自分の 嗣業の 土地を 固く 守ることができよう. 」
  5. ツェロフハド 家の 娘たちは, 主が モ ― セ に 命じられたとおりにした.
  1. Zelophehad's daughters--Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah and Noah--married their cousins on their father's side.
  2. They married within the clans of the descendants of Manasseh son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in their father's clan and tribe.
  3. These are the commands and regulations the LORD gave through Moses to the Israelites on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.
  1. ツェロフハド の 娘たち, マフラ , ティルツァ , ホグラ , ミルカ , および ノア は, おじの 息子たちと 結婚した.
