- Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb
- down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
- No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.
- They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
- There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

- 天使はまた， 神と 小羊の 玉座から 流れ 出て， 水晶のように 輝く 命の 水の 川をわたしに 見せた．
- 川は， 都の 大通りの 中央を 流れ， その 兩岸には 命の 木があって， 年に 十二回實を 結び， 每月實をみのらせる． そして， その 木の 葉は 諸國の 民の 病を 治す．
- もはや， 呪われるものは 何一つない． 神と 小羊の 玉座が 都にあって， 神の 僕たちは 神を 禮拜し，
- 御顔を 仰ぎ 見る． 彼らの 額には， 神の 名が 記されている．
- もはや， 夜はなく， ともし 火の 光も 太陽の 光も 要らない． 神である 主が 僕たちを 照らし， 彼らは 世¿限りなく 統治するからである．

- The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place."
- "Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book."
- I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me.
- But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!"
- Then he told me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near.

- そして， 天使はわたしにこう 言った． 「これらの 言葉は， 信賴でき， また 眞實である． 預言者たちの 靈感の 神， 主が， その 天使を 送って， すぐにも 起こるはずのことを， 御自分の 僕たちに 示されたのである．
- 見よ， わたしはすぐに 來る． この 書物の 預言の 言葉を 守る 者は， 幸いである． 」
- わたしは， これらのことを 聞き， また 見た ヨハネ である． 聞き， また 見たとき， わたしは， このことを 示してくれた 天使の 足もとにひれ 伏して， 拜もうとした．
- すると， 天使はわたしに 言った． 「やめよ． わたしは， あなたや， あなたの 兄弟である 預言者たちや， この 書物の 言葉を 守っている 人たちと 共に， 仕える 者である． 神を 禮拜せよ． 」
- また， わたしにこう 言った． 「この 書物の 預言の 言葉を， 秘密にしておいてはいけない． 時が 迫っているからである．

- Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy."
- "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
- I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
- "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.
- Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

- 不正を 行う 者には， なお 不正を 行わせ， 汚れた 者は， なお 汚れるままにしておけ． 正しい 者には， なお 正しいことを 行わせ， 聖なる 者は， なお 聖なる 者とならせよ．
- 見よ， わたしはすぐに 來る． わたしは， 報いを 携えて 來て， それぞれの 行いに 應じて 報いる．
- わたしは アルファ であり， オメガ である． 最初の 者にして， 最後の 者． 初めであり， 終わりである．
- 命の 木に 對する 權利を 與えられ， 門を 通って 都に 入れるように， 自分の 衣を 洗い 淸める 者は 幸いである．
- 犬のような 者， 魔術を 使う 者， みだらなことをする 者， 人を 殺す 者， 偶像を 拜む 者， すべて 僞りを 好み， また 行う 者は 都の 外にいる．

- "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
- The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
- I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.
- And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
- He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

- わたし， イエス は 使いを 遣わし， 諸敎會のために 以上のことをあなたがたに 證しした． わたしは， ダビデ のひこばえ， その 一族， 輝く 明けの 明星である． 」
- “靈 ＂と 花嫁とが 言う． 「來てください． 」これを 聞く 者も 言うがよい， 「來てください 」と． 渴いている 者は 來るがよい． 命の 水が 欲しい 者は， 價なしに 飮むがよい．
- この 書物の 預言の 言葉を 聞くすべての 者に， わたしは 證しする． これに 付け 加える 者があれば， 神はこの 書物に 書いてある 災いをその 者に 加えられる．
- また， この 預言の 書の 言葉から 何か 取り 去る 者があれば， 神は， この 書物に 書いてある 命の 木と 聖なる 都から， その 者が 受ける 分を 取り 除かれる．
- 以上すべてを 證しする 方が， 言われる． 「然り， わたしはすぐに 來る． 」 ア ― メン ， 主 イエス よ， 來てください．
