  À縲¿¡ ´ëÇÑ Áغñ(12:35-12:59)

  1. "Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning,
  2. like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.
  3. It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. I tell you the truth, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.
  4. It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night.
  5. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.
  1. Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
  2. And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
  3. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
  4. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
  5. And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
  1. You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."
  2. Peter asked, "Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?"
  3. The Lord answered, "Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?
  4. It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns.
  5. I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
  1. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
  2. Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
  3. And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
  4. Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
  5. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
  1. But suppose the servant says to himself, 'My master is taking a long time in coming,' and he then begins to beat the menservants and maidservants and to eat and drink and get drunk.
  2. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
  3. "That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows.
  4. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
  5. "I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!
  1. But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
  2. The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
  3. And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
  4. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
  5. I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
  1. But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed!
  2. Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division.
  3. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three.
  4. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law."
  5. He said to the crowd: "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, 'It's going to rain,' and it does.
  1. But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
  2. Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
  3. For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
  4. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
  5. And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.
  1. And when the south wind blows, you say, 'It's going to be hot,' and it is.
  2. Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don't know how to interpret this present time?
  3. "Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right?
  4. As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate, try hard to be reconciled to him on the way, or he may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.
  5. I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny."
  1. And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.
  2. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
  3. Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
  4. When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
  5. I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.
