- 그들은 저녁만 되면 돌아와서, 개처럼 짖어 대면서, 성 안을 이리저리 쏘다닙니다.
- 그들은 입에 거품을 물고, 입술에는 칼을 물고서 "흥, 누가 들으랴!" 하고 말합니다.
- 그러나 주님, 주님께서 그들을 보시고 비웃으시며, 뭇 민족을 조롱하실 것입니다.
- 나의 힘이신 주님, 주님은, 내가 피할 요새이시니, 내가 주님만을 바라봅니다.
- 한결같은 사랑을 베푸시는 하나님께서 나를 영접하려고 오실 것이니, 하나님께서 내 원수가 망하는 꼴을 나에게 보여 주실 것이다.

- 내 백성이 그들을 잊을까 두려우니, 그들을 아주 말살하지는 말아 주십시오. 우리의 방패이신 주님, 주님의 능력으로 그들을 흔드시고, 그들을 낮추어 주십시오.
- 죄가 그들의 입에 있고 그들의 입술에서 나오는 말은 모두 죄로 가득 찼습니다. 그들의 오만이 그들을 사로잡는 덫이 되게 해주십시오. 그들이 저주와 거짓말만 늘어놓고 있으니,
- 주님의 진노로 그들을 멸하여 주십시오. 하나도 남김없이 멸하여 주십시오. 하나님께서 야곱을 다스리고 계심을 땅 끝까지 알려 주십시오. （셀라）

- 그러나 나는 나의 힘 되신 주님을 찬양하렵니다. 내가 재난을 당할 때에, 주님은 나의 요새, 나의 피난처가 되어 주시기에, 아침마다 주님의 한결같은 사랑을 노래하렵니다.
- 나의 힘이신 주님, 내가 주님을 찬양하렵니다. "하나님은 내가 피할 요새, 나를 한결같이 사랑하시는 분."
