역대하 29:1-30:27

 히스기야는 하나님 보시기에 정직히 행하였으며, 아하스 시대에 파괴된 성전 복구 사업에 헌신하였다. 또한 성전을 성결케 한 후 성전에서 시행되던 각종 제사들을 실시하였으며, 복구된 성전에서 유월절을 지키도록 결정함으로써 이스라엘 백성들이 예루살렘에 모여 유월절 의식을 시행하며 하나님을 섬겼다.
  
  성전 정화(29:1-29:36)    
 
  1. Hezekiah was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty-nine years. His mother's name was Abijah daughter of Zechariah.
  2. He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father David had done.
  3. In the first month of the first year of his reign, he opened the doors of the temple of the LORD and repaired them.
  4. He brought in the priests and the Levites, assembled them in the square on the east side
  5. and said: "Listen to me, Levites! Consecrate yourselves now and consecrate the temple of the LORD, the God of your fathers. Remove all defilement from the sanctuary.
  1. 히스기야는 25세에 왕위에 올라 예루살렘에서 29년을 통치하였다. 그리고 그의 어머니는 스가랴의 딸 아비야였다.

  1. Our fathers were unfaithful; they did evil in the eyes of the LORD our God and forsook him. They turned their faces away from the LORD's dwelling place and turned their backs on him.
  2. They also shut the doors of the portico and put out the lamps. They did not burn incense or present any burnt offerings at the sanctuary to the God of Israel.
  3. Therefore, the anger of the LORD has fallen on Judah and Jerusalem; he has made them an object of dread and horror and scorn, as you can see with your own eyes.
  4. This is why our fathers have fallen by the sword and why our sons and daughters and our wives are in captivity.
  5. Now I intend to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel, so that his fierce anger will turn away from us.
  1. 우리 조상들은 우리 하나님 여호와께서 보시기에 악을 행하고 그분을 저버렸으며 여호와의 성전을 등지고 말았습니다.
  2. 또 그들은 성전 문을 닫고 등불을 끄고 성소에서 분향하지 않았으며 이스라엘의 하나님께 불로 태워 바치는 번제도 드리지 않았습니다.
  3. 그러므로 여호와께서는 유다와 예루살렘에 분노하셔서 우리를 두려움과 놀라움과 조소의 대상이 되게 하셨습니다. 이것은 오늘날 여러분도 다 알고 있는 사실입니다.

  1. My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him and serve him, to minister before him and to burn incense."
  2. Then these Levites set to work: from the Kohathites, Mahath son of Amasai and Joel son of Azariah; from the Merarites, Kish son of Abdi and Azariah son of Jehallelel; from the Gershonites, Joah son of Zimmah and Eden son of Joah;
  3. from the descendants of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeiel; from the descendants of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah;
  4. from the descendants of Heman, Jehiel and Shimei; from the descendants of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.
  5. When they had assembled their brothers and consecrated themselves, they went in to purify the temple of the LORD, as the king had ordered, following the word of the LORD.
  1. 친애하는 레위 사람 여러분, 여러분은 자기 임무를 게을리하지 마십시오. 여호와께서는 여러분을 택하셔서 그분 앞에서 섬기며 분향하도록 하셨습니다.'

  1. The priests went into the sanctuary of the LORD to purify it. They brought out to the courtyard of the LORD's temple everything unclean that they found in the temple of the LORD. The Levites took it and carried it out to the Kidron Valley.
  2. They began the consecration on the first day of the first month, and by the eighth day of the month they reached the portico of the LORD. For eight more days they consecrated the temple of the LORD itself, finishing on the sixteenth day of the first month.
  3. Then they went in to King Hezekiah and reported: "We have purified the entire temple of the LORD, the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the table for setting out the consecrated bread, with all its articles.
  4. We have prepared and consecrated all the articles that King Ahaz removed in his unfaithfulness while he was king. They are now in front of the LORD's altar."
  5. Early the next morning King Hezekiah gathered the city officials together and went up to the temple of the LORD.
  1. 제사장들이 성전 안으로 들어가 그 곳을 깨끗이 하고 더러운 것을 모조리 성전 뜰로 끌어내면 레위 사람들은 그 모든 것을 성 밖의 기드론 시내로 가져갔다.

  1. They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven male lambs and seven male goats as a sin offering for the kingdom, for the sanctuary and for Judah. The king commanded the priests, the descendants of Aaron, to offer these on the altar of the LORD.
  2. So they slaughtered the bulls, and the priests took the blood and sprinkled it on the altar; next they slaughtered the rams and sprinkled their blood on the altar; then they slaughtered the lambs and sprinkled their blood on the altar.
  3. The goats for the sin offering were brought before the king and the assembly, and they laid their hands on them.
  4. The priests then slaughtered the goats and presented their blood on the altar for a sin offering to atone for all Israel, because the king had ordered the burnt offering and the sin offering for all Israel.
  5. He stationed the Levites in the temple of the LORD with cymbals, harps and lyres in the way prescribed by David and Gad the king's seer and Nathan the prophet; this was commanded by the LORD through his prophets.

  1. So the Levites stood ready with David's instruments, and the priests with their trumpets.
  2. Hezekiah gave the order to sacrifice the burnt offering on the altar. As the offering began, singing to the LORD began also, accompanied by trumpets and the instruments of David king of Israel.
  3. The whole assembly bowed in worship, while the singers sang and the trumpeters played. All this continued until the sacrifice of the burnt offering was completed.
  4. When the offerings were finished, the king and everyone present with him knelt down and worshiped.
  5. King Hezekiah and his officials ordered the Levites to praise the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness and bowed their heads and worshiped.

  1. Then Hezekiah said, "You have now dedicated yourselves to the LORD. Come and bring sacrifices and thank offerings to the temple of the LORD." So the assembly brought sacrifices and thank offerings, and all whose hearts were willing brought burnt offerings.
  2. The number of burnt offerings the assembly brought was seventy bulls, a hundred rams and two hundred male lambs--all of them for burnt offerings to the LORD.
  3. The animals consecrated as sacrifices amounted to six hundred bulls and three thousand sheep and goats.
  4. The priests, however, were too few to skin all the burnt offerings; so their kinsmen the Levites helped them until the task was finished and until other priests had been consecrated, for the Levites had been more conscientious in consecrating themselves than the priests had been.
  5. There were burnt offerings in abundance, together with the fat of the fellowship offerings and the drink offerings that accompanied the burnt offerings. So the service of the temple of the LORD was reestablished.
  1. 히스기야왕이 군중들에게 정결 의식이 끝났으므로 제물과 감사 예물을 여호와께 가져오라고 말하자 그들은 제물과 감사 예물을 가져오기 시작했는데 어떤 사람은 자진해서 번제물까지 가져오기도 하였다.

  4. 그러나 제사장들이 너무 부족하여 그 많은 제물을 잡아 다 준비할 수 없으므로 그 일이 끝날 때까지, 그리고 다른 제사장들이 자신을 성결하게 할 때까지 그 형제 레위 사람들이 제사장들을 도왔다. 이것은 레위 사람들이 자신들을 성결하게 하는 데 있어서 제사장들보다 더욱 성실했기 때문이었다.

  1. Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced at what God had brought about for his people, because it was done so quickly.

  유월절 준수(30:1-30:27)    
 
  1. Hezekiah sent word to all Israel and Judah and also wrote letters to Ephraim and Manasseh, inviting them to come to the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem and celebrate the Passover to the LORD, the God of Israel.
  2. The king and his officials and the whole assembly in Jerusalem decided to celebrate the Passover in the second month.
  3. They had not been able to celebrate it at the regular time because not enough priests had consecrated themselves and the people had not assembled in Jerusalem.
  4. The plan seemed right both to the king and to the whole assembly.
  5. They decided to send a proclamation throughout Israel, from Beersheba to Dan, calling the people to come to Jerusalem and celebrate the Passover to the LORD, the God of Israel. It had not been celebrated in large numbers according to what was written.
  1. 히스기야왕은 온 이스라엘과 유다와 특별히 에브라임과 므낫세 지파 사람들에게 편지를 보내 예루살렘에 있는 여호와의 성전에 와서 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께 유월절을 지키자고 모든 사람들을 초대하였다.
  2. 왕과 신하들과 모든 예루살렘 주민들은 1월에 지키던 유월절을 2월에 지키기로 합의하였다. 이것은 그때까지 성결하게 한 제사장이 부족하고 또 백성들도 예루살렘에 많이 모일 형편이 되지 않아 제때에 유월절을 지킬 수 없었기 때문이었다.

  4. 왕과 백성들은 이렇게 하는 것을 좋게 여기고
  5. 북쪽 단에서부터 남쪽 브엘세바까지 온 이스라엘이 공포하여 예루살렘에 함께 모여서 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께 유월절 지킬 것을 호소하기로 결정하였다. 이것은 율법에 기록된 대로 많은 사람들이 모인 가운데 유월절을 지키지 못한 지가 오래 되었기 때문이었다.
  1. At the king's command, couriers went throughout Israel and Judah with letters from the king and from his officials, which read: "People of Israel, return to the LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, that he may return to you who are left, who have escaped from the hand of the kings of Assyria.
  2. Do not be like your fathers and brothers, who were unfaithful to the LORD, the God of their fathers, so that he made them an object of horror, as you see.
  3. Do not be stiff-necked, as your fathers were; submit to the LORD. Come to the sanctuary, which he has consecrated forever. Serve the LORD your God, so that his fierce anger will turn away from you.
  4. If you return to the LORD, then your brothers and your children will be shown compassion by their captors and will come back to this land, for the LORD your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him."
  5. The couriers went from town to town in Ephraim and Manasseh, as far as Zebulun, but the people scorned and ridiculed them.
  1. 왕의 명령에 따라서 사자들이 왕과 그 신하들의 회람 서신을 받아 가지고 이스라엘과 유다 곳곳을 돌아다니면서 그것을 전했는데 그 내용은 다음과 같았다. '이스라엘 백성 여러분, 여러분은 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님 여호와께 돌아오십시오. 그러면 그분은 앗시리아 왕의 손에서 벗어나 살아 남은 우리에게 돌아오실 것입니다.
  2. 여러분은 자기 조상의 하나님 여호와께 범죄했던 여러분의 조상들과 형제들처럼 되지 마십시오. 여러분도 보아 알겠지만 여호와께서는 그들을 가혹하게 벌하셨습니다.
  3. 그러므로 여러분은 그들처럼 고집을 피우지 말고 여호와께 복종하여 영원히 거룩하게 하신 성전에 와서 여러분의 하나님 여호와를 섬기십시오. 그러면 그가 여러분에 대한 노여우심을 거두실 것입니다.
  4. 만일 여러분이 여호와께 돌아오면 여러분의 형제들과 자녀들이 그들을 포로로 잡아간 사람들의 관대한 처분을 받아 이 땅으로 다시 돌아오게 될 것입니다. 여러분의 하나님 여호와는 은혜롭고 자비로우신 분이시므로 여러분이 돌아오기만 하면 여러분을 외면하지 않으실 것입니다.'
  5. 사자들이 에브라임과 므낫세 지파의 전 지역을 돌아다니고 또 스불론까지 갔으나 사람들은 그들을 비웃고 조롱하였다.
  1. Nevertheless, some men of Asher, Manasseh and Zebulun humbled themselves and went to Jerusalem.
  2. Also in Judah the hand of God was on the people to give them unity of mind to carry out what the king and his officials had ordered, following the word of the LORD.
  3. A very large crowd of people assembled in Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the second month.
  4. They removed the altars in Jerusalem and cleared away the incense altars and threw them into the Kidron Valley.
  5. They slaughtered the Passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the second month. The priests and the Levites were ashamed and consecrated themselves and brought burnt offerings to the temple of the LORD.
  1. 그러나 아셀과 므낫세와 스불론 지파 중에서 일부 사람들은 겸손한 마음으로 예루살렘에 왔다.
  2. 그리고 하나님께서 유다 사람들을 감동시키셨으므로 그들은 합심하여 여호와의 말씀에 따라 왕과 신하들이 명령한 것을 지키기로 다짐하였다.
  3. 그래서 수많은 군중이 2월에 유월절을 지키려고 예루살렘에 모여

  5. 2월 14일에 백성들이 유월절 제사에 쓸 양들을 잡자 제사장들과 레위 사람들은 자신들이 좀더 적극적으로 참여하지 못한 것을 부끄럽게 여겨 스스로 성결하게 하고 번제물을 성전으로 가져왔다.
  1. Then they took up their regular positions as prescribed in the Law of Moses the man of God. The priests sprinkled the blood handed to them by the Levites.
  2. Since many in the crowd had not consecrated themselves, the Levites had to kill the Passover lambs for all those who were not ceremonially clean and could not consecrate their lambs to the LORD.
  3. Although most of the many people who came from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun had not purified themselves, yet they ate the Passover, contrary to what was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, "May the LORD, who is good, pardon everyone
  4. who sets his heart on seeking God--the LORD, the God of his fathers--even if he is not clean according to the rules of the sanctuary."
  5. And the LORD heard Hezekiah and healed the people.
  1. 그리고서 그들은 하나님의 사람 모세의 율법에서 지시한 대로 각자 자기 위치에 섰다. 레위 사람들이 제물의 피를 제사장들에게 주고 제사장들은 그 피를 받아 단에 뿌렸다.

  5. 그래서 여호와께서는 히스기야의 기도를 들으시고 그들을 벌하지 않으셨다.
  1. The Israelites who were present in Jerusalem celebrated the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days with great rejoicing, while the Levites and priests sang to the LORD every day, accompanied by the LORD's instruments of praise.
  2. Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites, who showed good understanding of the service of the LORD. For the seven days they ate their assigned portion and offered fellowship offerings and praised the LORD, the God of their fathers.
  3. The whole assembly then agreed to celebrate the festival seven more days; so for another seven days they celebrated joyfully.
  4. Hezekiah king of Judah provided a thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep and goats for the assembly, and the officials provided them with a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep and goats. A great number of priests consecrated themselves.
  5. The entire assembly of Judah rejoiced, along with the priests and Levites and all who had assembled from Israel, including the aliens who had come from Israel and those who lived in Judah.
  1. 예루살렘에 모인 모든 이스라엘 사람들은 누룩을 넣지 않고 빵을 만들어 먹는 명절인 무교절을 7일 동안 기쁜 마음으로 지켰다. 그리고 레위 사람들과 제사장들은 날마다 악기를 힘차게 연주하면서 여호와를 찬양하였으며
  2. 히스기야왕은 여호와를 섬기는 일에 능숙한 모든 레위 사람들에게 아낌없는 찬사를 보냈다. 이와 같이 그들은 7일 동안 유월절 음식을 먹고 화목제를 드리며 그들 조상의 하나님 여호와께 감사하였다.
  3. 축제 분위기가 그칠 줄 모르자 모든 군중은 유월절 축제를 7일 동안 더 연장하기로 결정하고 기쁜 마음으로 7일을 더 지켰다.
  4. 히스기야왕은 군중에게 수송아지 1,000마리와 양 7,000마리를 주고 신하들은 수송아지 1,000마리와 양 10,000마리를 그들에게 주었다. 그리고 이때 많은 제사장들이 자신을 성결하게 하였다.
  5. 그래서 모든 유다 백성들은 제사장, 레위인, 북쪽 지파에서 온 사람, 이스라엘과 유다 땅에 영주하고 있는 모든 외국인들과 함께 아주 기뻐하였다.
  1. There was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the days of Solomon son of David king of Israel there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem.
  2. The priests and the Levites stood to bless the people, and God heard them, for their prayer reached heaven, his holy dwelling place.
  1. 다윗의 아들 솔로몬 이후로 이와 같은 축제가 없었기 때문에 예루살렘에는 큰 기쁨이 있었다.
  2. 그때 제사장들과 레위 사람들이 일어나서 백성들을 의해 축복 기도를 하자 여호와께서는 하늘에서 들으시고 그들의 기도를 응답해 주셨다.
