마가복음 12:18-12:37

 부활을 믿지 않는 사두개인들이 예수님과 부활의 문제에 관하여 논쟁을 하였다. 예수님은 부활한 자들이 천사들과 같다고 하셨고, 가장 큰 계명을 묻는 질문에는 하나님과 이웃을 사랑하라고 답변하셨다.
  
  부활 문제(12:18-12:27)    
 
  1. 부활이 없다 하는 사두개인들이 예수께 와서 물어 가로되
  2. 선생님이여 모세가 우리에게 써 주기를 사람의 형이 자식이 없이 아내를 두고 죽거든 그 동생이 그 아내를 취하여 형을 위하여 후사를 세울찌니라 하였나이다
  3. 칠 형제가 있었는데 맏이 아내를 취하였다가 후사가 없이 죽고
  4. 둘째도 그 여자를 취하였다가 후사가 없이 죽고 세째도 그렇게 하여
  5. 일곱이 다 후사가 없었고 최후에 여자도 죽었나이다
  1. Then the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question.
  2. "Teacher," they said, "Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and have children for his brother.
  3. Now there were seven brothers. The first one married and died without leaving any children.
  4. The second one married the widow, but he also died, leaving no child. It was the same with the third.
  5. In fact, none of the seven left any children. Last of all, the woman died too.
  1. 일곱 사람이 다 그를 아내로 취하였으니 부활을 당하여 저희가 살아날 때에 그중에 뉘 아내가 되리이까
  2. 예수께서 가라사대 너희가 성경도 하나님의 능력도 알지 못하므로 오해함이 아니냐
  3. 사람이 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 때에는 장가도 아니가고 시집도 아니가고 하늘에 있는 천사들과 같으니라
  4. 죽은 자의 살아난다는 것을 의논할찐대 너희가 모세의 책 중 가시나무떨기에 관한 글에 하나님께서 모세에게 이르시되 나는 아브라함의 하나님이요 이삭의 하나님이요 야곱의 하나님이로라 하신 말씀을 읽어보지 못하였느냐
  5. 하나님은 죽은 자의 하나님이 아니요 산 자의 하나님이시라 너희가 크게 오해하였도다 하시니라
  1. At the resurrection whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?"
  2. Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
  3. When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
  4. Now about the dead rising--have you not read in the book of Moses, in the account of the bush, how God said to him, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'?
  5. He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!"
 
  큰 계명(12:28-12:37)    
 
  1. 서기관 중 한 사람이 저희의 변론하는 것을 듣고 예수께서 대답 잘하신 줄을 알고 나아와 묻되 모든 계명 중에 첫째가 무엇이니이까
  2. 예수께서 대답하시되 첫째는 이것이니 이스라엘아 들으라 주 곧 우리 하나님은 유일한 주시라
  3. 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하고 힘을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하신 것이요
  4. 둘째는 이것이니 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 하신 것이라 이에서 더 큰 계명이 없느니라
  5. 서기관이 가로되 선생님이여 옳소이다 하나님은 한 분이시요 그 외에 다른이가 없다 하신 말씀이 참이니이다
  1. One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"
  2. "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
  3. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'
  4. The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'There is no commandment greater than these."
  5. "Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.
  1. 또 마음을 다하고 지혜를 다하고 힘을 다하여 하나님을 사랑하는 것과 또 이웃을 제 몸과 같이 사랑하는 것이 전체로 드리는 모든 번제물과 기타 제물보다 나으니이다
  2. 예수께서 그 지혜 있게 대답함을 보시고 이르시되 네가 하나님의 나라에 멀지 않도다 하시니 그 후에 감히 묻는 자가 없더라
  3. 예수께서 성전에서 가르치실쌔 대답하여 가라사대 어찌하여 서기관들이 그리스도를 다윗의 자손이라 하느뇨
  4. 다윗이 성령에 감동하여 친히 말하되 주께서 내 주께 이르시되 내가 네 원수를 네 발 아래 둘 때까지 내 우편에 앉았으라 하셨도다 하였느니라
  5. 다윗이 그리스도를 주라 하였은즉 어찌 그의 자손이 되겠느냐 하시더라 백성이 즐겁게 듣더라
  1. To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."
  2. When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.
  3. While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, he asked, "How is it that the teachers of the law say that the Christ is the son of David?
  4. David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared: " 'The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet." '
  5. David himself calls him 'Lord.' How then can he be his son?" The large crowd listened to him with delight.
