이사야 59:1-60:22

 이사야는 부조리로 가득 찬 이스라엘 백성들의 불의를 지적하고 그들의 죄악에 대해 하나님께 고백한 후, 그럼에도 불구하고 하나님께서 절망적인 인간의 구원을 위해 구속자를 통한 새 언약을 주셨다고 하였다. 하나님께서는 예전에 이스라엘을 억압하던 국가들이 이스라엘에게 복종함으로 이스라엘이 영구한 평화를 누리고 열방 중에 높임받게 될 것이라는 약속을 하셨다.
  
  죄와 구원 사역(59:1-59:21)    
 
  1. 여호와의 손이 짧아 구원치 못하심도 아니요 귀가 둔하여 듣지 못하심도 아니라
  2. 오직 너희 죄악이 너희와 너희 하나님 사이를 내었고 너희 죄가 그 얼굴을 가리워서 너희를 듣지 않으시게 함이니
  3. 이는 너희 손이 피에, 너희 손가락이 죄악에 더러웠으며 너희 입술은 거짓을 말하며 너희 혀는 악독을 발함이라
  4. 공의대로 소송하는 자도 없고 진리대로 판결하는 자도 없으며 허망한 것을 의뢰하며 거짓을 말하며 잔해를 잉태하여 죄악을 생산하며
  5. 독사의 알을 품으며 거미줄을 짜나니 그 알을 먹는 자는 죽을 것이요 그 알이 밟힌즉 터져서 독사가 나올 것이니라
  1. Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.
  2. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
  3. For your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue mutters wicked things.
  4. No one calls for justice; no one pleads his case with integrity. They rely on empty arguments and speak lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil.
  5. They hatch the eggs of vipers and spin a spider's web. Whoever eats their eggs will die, and when one is broken, an adder is hatched.
  1. 그 짠 것으로는 옷을 이룰 수 없을 것이요 그 행위로는 자기를 가리울 수 없을 것이며 그 행위는 죄악의 행위라 그 손에는 강포한 행습이 있으며
  2. 그 발은 행악하기에 빠르고 무죄한 피를 흘리기에 신속하며 그 사상은 죄악의 사상이라 황폐와 파멸이 그 길에 끼쳐졌으며
  3. 그들은 평강의 길을 알지 못하며 그들의 행하는 곳에는 공의가 없으며 굽은 길을 스스로 만드나니 무릇 이 길을 밟는 자는 평강을 알지 못하느니라
  4. 그러므로 공평이 우리에게서 멀고 의가 우리에게 미치지 못한즉 우리가 빛을 바라나 어두움 뿐이요 밝은 것을 바라나 캄캄한 가운데 행하므로
  5. 우리가 소경 같이 담을 더듬으며 눈 없는 자 같이 두루 더듬으며 낮에도 황혼때 같이 넘어지니 우리는 강장한 자 중에서도 죽은 자 같은지라
  1. Their cobwebs are useless for clothing; they cannot cover themselves with what they make. Their deeds are evil deeds, and acts of violence are in their hands.
  2. Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are evil thoughts; ruin and destruction mark their ways.
  3. The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks in them will know peace.
  4. So justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows.
  5. Like the blind we grope along the wall, feeling our way like men without eyes. At midday we stumble as if it were twilight; among the strong, we are like the dead.
  1. 우리가 곰 같이 부르짖으며 비둘기 같이 슬피 울며 공평을 바라나 없고 구원을 바라나 우리에게서 멀도다
  2. 대저 우리의 허물이 주의 앞에 심히 많으며 우리의 죄가 우리를 쳐서 증거하오니 이는 우리의 허물이 우리와 함께 있음이라 우리의 죄악을 우리가 아나이다
  3. 우리가 여호와를 배반하고 인정치 아니하며 우리 하나님을 좇는데서 돌이켜 포학과 패역을 말하며 거짓말을 마음에 잉태하여 발하니
  4. 공평이 뒤로 물리침이 되고 의가 멀리 섰으며 성실이 거리에 엎드러지고 정직이 들어가지 못하는도다
  5. 성실이 없어지므로 악을 떠나는 자가 탈취를 당하는도다 여호와께서 이를 감찰하시고 그 공평이 없은 것을 기뻐 아니하시고
  1. We all growl like bears; we moan mournfully like doves. We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away.
  2. For our offenses are many in your sight, and our sins testify against us. Our offenses are ever with us, and we acknowledge our iniquities:
  3. rebellion and treachery against the LORD, turning our backs on our God, fomenting oppression and revolt, uttering lies our hearts have conceived.
  4. So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter.
  5. Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice.
  1. 사람이 없음을 보시며 중재자 없음을 이상히 여기셨으므로 자기 팔로 스스로 구원을 베푸시며 자기의 의를 스스로 의지하사
  2. 의로 호심경을 삼으시며 구원을 그 머리에 써서 투구를 삼으시며 보수로 속옷을 삼으시며 열심을 입어 겉옷을 삼으시고
  3. 그들의 행위대로 갚으시되 그 대적에게 분노하시며 그 원수에게 보응하시며 섬들에게 보복하실 것이라
  4. 서방에서 여호와의 이름을 두려워하겠고 해돋는 편에서 그의 영광을 두려워할 것은 여호와께서 그 기운에 몰려 급히 흐르는 하수 같이 오실 것임이로다
  5. 여호와께서 가라사대 구속자가 시온에 임하며 야곱 중에 죄과를 떠나는 자에게 임하리라
  1. He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so his own arm worked salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him.
  2. He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.
  3. According to what they have done, so will he repay wrath to his enemies and retribution to his foes; he will repay the islands their due.
  4. From the west, men will fear the name of the LORD, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory. For he will come like a pent-up flood that the breath of the LORD drives along.
  5. "The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins," declares the LORD.
  1. 여호와께서 또 가라사대 내가 그들과 세운 나의 언약이 이러하니 곧 네 위에 있는 나의 신과 네 입에 둔 나의 말이 이제부터 영영토록 네 입에서와 네 후손의 입에서와 네 후손의 후손의 입에서 떠나지 아니하리라 하시니라 여호와의 말씀이니라
  1. "As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the LORD. "My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever," says the LORD.
 
  시온의 영광(60:1-60:22)    
 
  1. 일어나라 빛을 발하라 이는 네 빛이 이르렀고 여호와의 영광이 네 위에 임하였음이니라
  2. 보라 어두움이 땅을 덮을 것이며 캄캄함이 만민을 가리우려니와 오직 여호와께서 네 위에 임하실 것이며 그 영광이 네 위에 나타나리니
  3. 열방은 네 빛으로, 열왕은 비취는 네 광명으로 나아오리라
  4. 네 눈을 들어 사면을 보라 무리가 다 모여 네게로 오느니라 네 아들들은 원방에서 오겠고 네 딸들은 안기워 올것이라
  5. 그 때에 네가 보고 희색을 발하며 네 마음이 놀라고 또 화창하리니 이는 바다의 풍부가 네게로 돌아오며 열방의 재물이 네게로 옴이라
  1. "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
  2. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
  3. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
  4. "Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm.
  5. Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.
  1. 허다한 약대, 미디안과 에바의 젊은 약대가 네 가운데 편만할 것이며 스바의 사람들은 다 금과 유향을 가지고 와서 여호와의 찬송을 전파할 것이며
  2. 게달의 양 무리는 다 네게로 모여지고 느바욧의 수양은 네게 공급되고 내 단에 올라 기꺼이 받음이 되리니 내가 내 영광의 집을 영화롭게 하리라
  3. 저 구름 같이, 비둘기가 그 보금자리로 날아 오는 것 같이 날아 오는 자들이 누구뇨
  4. 곧 섬들이 나를 앙망하고 다시스의 배들이 먼저 이르되 원방에서 네 자손과 그 은금을 아울러 싣고 와서 네 하나님 여호와의 이름에 드리려 하며 이스라엘의 거룩한 자에게 드리려 하는 자들이라 이는 내가 너를 영화롭게 하였음이니라
  5. 내가 노하여 너를 쳤으나 이제는 나의 은혜로 너를 긍휼히 여겼은즉 이방인들이 네 성벽을 쌓을 것이요 그 왕들이 너를 봉사할 것이며
  1. Herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. And all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and incense and proclaiming the praise of the LORD.
  2. All Kedar's flocks will be gathered to you, the rams of Nebaioth will serve you; they will be accepted as offerings on my altar, and I will adorn my glorious temple.
  3. "Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests?
  4. Surely the islands look to me; in the lead are the ships of Tarshish, bringing your sons from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.
  5. "Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Though in anger I struck you, in favor I will show you compassion.
  1. 네 성문이 항상 열려 주야로 닫히지 아니하리니 이는 사람들이 네게로 열방의 재물을 가져오며 그 왕들을 포로로 이끌어 옴이라
  2. 너를 섬기지 아니하는 백성과 나라는 파멸하리니 그 백성들은 반드시 진멸되리라
  3. 레바논의 영광 곧 잣나무와 소나무와 황양목이 함께 네게 이르러 내 거룩한 곳을 아름답게 할 것이며 내가 나의 발 둘 곳을 영화롭게 할것이라
  4. 너를 괴롭게 하던 자의 자손이 몸을 굽혀 네게 나아오며 너를 멸시하던 모든 자가 네 발 아래 엎드리어 너를 일컬어 여호와의 성읍이라, 이스라엘의 거룩한 자의 시온이라 하리라
  5. 전에는 네가 버림을 입으며 미움을 당하였으므로 네게로 지나는 자가 없었으나 이제는 내가 너로 영영한 아름다움과 대대의 기쁨이 되게 하리니
  1. Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that men may bring you the wealth of the nations-- their kings led in triumphal procession.
  2. For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly ruined.
  3. "The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the pine, the fir and the cypress together, to adorn the place of my sanctuary; and I will glorify the place of my feet.
  4. The sons of your oppressors will come bowing before you; all who despise you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
  5. "Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations.
  1. 네가 열방의 젖을 빨며 열왕의 유방을 빨고 나 여호와는 네 구원자, 네 구속자, 야곱의 전능자인줄 알리라
  2. 내가 금을 가져 놋을 대신하며 은을 가져 철을 대신하며 놋으로 나무를 대신하며 철로 돌을 대신하며 화평을 세워 관원을 삼으며 의를 세워 감독을 삼으리니
  3. 다시는 강포한 일이 네 땅에 들리지 않을 것이요 황폐와 파멸이 네 경내에 다시 없을 것이며 네가 네 성벽을 구원이라, 네 성문을 찬송이라 칭할 것이라
  4. 다시는 낮에 해가 네 빛이 되지 아니하며 달도 네게 빛을 비취지 않을 것이요 오직 여호와가 네게 영영한 빛이 되며 네 하나님이 네 영광이 되리니
  5. 다시는 네 해가 지지 아니하며 네 달이 물러가지 아니할 것은 여호와가 네 영영한 빛이 되고 네 슬픔의 날이 마칠 것임이니라
  1. You will drink the milk of nations and be nursed at royal breasts. Then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
  2. Instead of bronze I will bring you gold, and silver in place of iron. Instead of wood I will bring you bronze, and iron in place of stones. I will make peace your governor and righteousness your ruler.
  3. No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.
  4. The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
  5. Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.
  1. 네 백성이 다 의롭게 되어 영영히 땅을 차지하리니 그들은 나의 심은 가지요 나의 손으로 만든 것으로서 나의 영광을 나타낼 것인즉
  2. 그 작은 자가 천을 이루겠고 그 약한 자가 강국을 이룰 것이라 때가 되면 나 여호와가 속히 이루리라
  1. Then will all your people be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor.
  2. The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly."
