욥기 23:1-26:14

 욥은 엘리바스의 답변에 탄식하면서, 하나님께서 결백한 자신의 호소에 답변해 주실 것을 간구하였다. 그리고 악인들의 최후에 관하여 말한 후, 그들을 놓아 두시는 하나님의 섭리에 의문을 표시하였다. 이에 대하여 빌닷은 하나님의 권능과 위엄을 말하면서 하나님 앞에서 의롭고 깨끗한 사람은 없다고 하였다.
  
  욥의 대답(23:1-24:25)    
 
  1. 욥이 대답하여 가로되
  2. 내가 오늘도 혹독히 원망하니 받는 재앙이 탄식보다 중함이니라
  3. 내가 어찌하면 하나님 발견할 곳을 알꼬 그리하면 그 보좌 앞에 나아가서
  4. 그 앞에서 호소하며 변백할 말을 입에 채우고
  5. 내게 대답하시는 말씀을 내가 알고 내게 이르시는 것을 내가 깨달으리라
  1. Then Job answered and said,
  2. Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
  3. Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
  4. I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
  5. I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
  1. 그가 큰 권능을 가지시고 나로 더불어 다투실까 아니라 도리어 내 말을 들으시리라
  2. 거기서는 정직자가 그와 변론할 수 있은즉 내가 심판자에게서 영영히 벗어나리라
  3. 그런데 내가 앞으로 가도 그가 아니 계시고 뒤로 가도 보이지 아니하며
  4. 그가 왼편에서 일하시나 내가 만날 수 없고 그가 오른편으로 돌이키시나 뵈올 수 없구나
  5. 나의 가는 길을 오직 그가 아시나니 그가 나를 단련하신 후에는 내가 정금 같이 나오리라
  1. Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.
  2. There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.
  3. Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:
  4. On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
  5. But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
  1. 내 발이 그의 걸음을 바로 따랐으며 내가 그의 길을 지켜 치우치지 아니하였고
  2. 내가 그의 입술의 명령을 어기지 아니하고 일정한 음식보다 그 입의 말씀을 귀히 여겼구나
  3. 그는 뜻이 일정하시니 누가 능히 돌이킬까 그 마음에 하고자 하시는 것이면 그것을 행하시나니
  4. 그런즉 내게 작정하신 것을 이루실 것이라 이런 일이 그에게 많이 있느니라
  5. 그러므로 내가 그의 앞에서 떨며 이를 생각하고 그를 두려워하는구나
  1. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
  2. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
  3. But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
  4. For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
  5. Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.
  1. 하나님이 나로 낙심케 하시며 전능자가 나로 두렵게 하시나니
  2. 이는 어두움으로 나를 끊지 아니하셨고 흑암으로 내 얼굴을 가리우지 아니하셨음이니라
  1. For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:
  2. Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.
 
 
  1. 어찌하여 전능자가 시기를 정하지 아니하셨는고 어찌하여 그를 아는 자들이 그의 날을 보지 못하는고
  2. 어떤 사람은 지계표를 옮기며 양떼를 빼앗아 기르며
  3. 고아의 나귀를 몰아 가며 과부의 소를 볼모 잡으며
  4. 빈궁한 자를 길에서 몰아 내나니 세상에 가난한 자가 다 스스로 숨는구나
  5. 그들은 거친 땅의 들 나귀 같아서 나가서 일하며 먹을 것을 부지런히 구하니 광야가 그 자식을 위하여 그에게 식물을 내는구나
  1. Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?
  2. Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.
  3. They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.
  4. They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
  5. Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.
  1. 밭에서 남의 곡식을 베며 악인의 남겨 둔 포도를 따며
  2. 의복이 없어 벗은 몸으로 밤을 지내며 추위에 덮을 것이 없으며
  3. 산중 소나기에 젖으며 가리울 것이 없어 바위를 안고 있느니라
  4. 어떤 사람은 고아를 어미 품에서 빼앗으며 가난한 자의 옷을 볼모 잡으므로
  5. 그들이 옷이 없어 벌거벗고 다니며 주리면서 곡식단을 메며
  1. They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.
  2. They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
  3. They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
  4. They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.
  5. They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;
  1. 그 사람의 담 안에서 기름을 짜며 목말라하면서 술 틀을 밟느니라
  2. 인구 많은 성중에서 사람들이 신음하며 상한 자가 부르짖으나 하나님이 그 불의를 보지 아니하시느니라
  3. 또 광명을 배반하는 사람들은 이러하니 그들은 광명의 길을 알지 못하며 그 첩경에 머물지 아니하는 자라
  4. 사람을 죽이는 자는 새벽에 일어나서 가난한 자나 빈궁한 자를 죽이고 밤에는 도적 같이 되며
  5. 간음하는 자의 눈은 저물기를 바라며 아무 눈도 나를 보지못하리라 하고 얼굴을 변장하며
  1. Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.
  2. Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them.
  3. They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
  4. The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
  5. The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
  1. 밤에 집을 뚫는 자는 낮에는 문을 닫고 있은즉 광명을 알지못하나니
  2. 그들은 다 아침을 흑암 같이 여기니 흑암의 두려움을 앎이니라
  3. 그들은 물 위에 빨리 흘러가고 그 산업은 세상에서 저주를 받나니 그들이 다시는 포도원 길로 행치 못할 것이라
  4. 가뭄과 더위가 눈 녹은 물을 곧 말리나니 음부가 범죄자에게도 그와 같은 것인즉
  5. 태가 그를 잊어버리고 구더기가 그를 달게 먹을 것이라 그는 기억함을 다시 얻지 못하나니 불의가 나무처럼 꺾이리라
  1. In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.
  2. For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
  3. He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.
  4. Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.
  5. The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
  1. 그는 잉태치 못하므로 해산치 못한 여인을 학대하며 과부를 선대치 아니하는 자니라
  2. 그러나 하나님이 그 권능으로 강한 자들을 보존시키시니 살기를 바라지 못할 자도 일어나는구나
  3. 하나님이 그들을 호위하사 평안케 하시나 그 눈은 그들의 길에 있구나
  4. 그들은 높아져도 잠시간에 없어지나니 낮아져서 범인처럼 제함을 당하고 곡식 이삭 같이 베임을 입느니라
  5. 가령 그렇지 않을찌라도 능히 내 말을 거짓되다 지적하거나 내 말이 헛되다 변박할 자 누구랴
  1. He evil entreateth the barren that beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow.
  2. He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
  3. Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways.
  4. They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
  5. And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
 
  빌닷의 세번째 충고(25:1-26:14)    
 
  1. 수아 사람 빌닷이 대답하여 가로되
  2. 하나님은 권능과 위엄을 가지셨고 지극히 높은 곳에서 화평을 베푸시느니라
  3. 그 군대를 어찌 계수할 수 있으랴 그 광명의 비췸을 입지 않은 자가 누구냐
  4. 그런즉 하나님 앞에서 사람이 어찌 의롭다 하며 부녀에게서 난 자가 어찌 깨끗하다 하랴
  5. 하나님의 눈에는 달이라도 명랑치 못하고 별도 깨끗지 못하거든
  1. Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
  2. Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
  3. Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
  4. How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
  5. Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
  1. 하물며 벌레인 사람, 구더기인 인생이랴
  1. How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
 
 
  1. 욥이 대답하여 가로되
  2. 네가 힘 없는 자를 참 잘 도왔구나 기력 없는 팔을 참 잘 구원하였구나
  3. 지혜 없는 자를 참 잘 가르쳤구나 큰 지식을 참 잘 나타내었구나
  4. 네가 누구를 향하여 말을 내었느냐 뉘 신이 네게서 나왔느냐
  5. 음령들이 큰 물과 수족 밑에서 떠나니
  1. But Job answered and said,
  2. How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
  3. How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
  4. To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
  5. Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
  1. 하나님 앞에는 음부도 드러나며 멸망의 웅덩이도 가리움이 없음이니라
  2. 그는 북편 하늘을 허공에 펴시며 땅을 공간에 다시며
  3. 물을 빽빽한 구름에 싸시나 그 밑의 구름이 찢어지지 아니하느니라
  4. 그는 자기의 보좌 앞을 가리우시고 자기 구름으로 그 위에 펴시며
  5. 수면에 경계를 그으셨으되 빛과 어두움의 지경까지 한정을 세우셨느니라
  1. Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
  2. He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
  3. He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
  4. He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
  5. He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
  1. 그가 꾸짖으신즉 하늘기둥이 떨며 놀라느니라
  2. 그는 권능으로 바다를 흉용케 하시며 지혜로 라합을 쳐서 파하시며
  3. 그 신으로 하늘을 단장하시고 손으로 날랜 뱀을 찌르시나니
  4. 이런 것은 그 행사의 시작점이요 우리가 그에게 대하여 들은 것도 심히 세미한 소리뿐이니라 그 큰 능력의 우뢰야 누가 능히 측량하랴
  1. The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
  2. He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
  3. By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
  4. Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
