창세기 49:1-50:26

 야곱은 열두 아들을 불러 모아 각자에게 축복 예언을 하고 일생을 마쳤다. 요셉은 야곱의 유언대로 그를 선영에 장사했다. 요셉도 110세에 죽어 애굽에 장사되었다.
  
  야곱의 12지파 축복 예언(49:1-49:33)    
 
  1. 야곱이 그 아들들을 불러 이르되 너희는 모이라 너희의 후일에 당할 일을 내가 너희에게 이르리라
  2. 너희는 모여 들으라 야곱의 아들들아 너희 아비 이스라엘에게 들을찌어다
  3. 르우벤아 너는 내 장자요 나의 능력이요 나의 기력의 시작이라 위광이 초등하고 권능이 탁월하도다마는
  4. 물의 끓음 같았은즉 너는 탁월치 못하리니 네가 아비의 침상에 올라 더럽혔음이로다 그가 내 침상에 올랐었도다
  5. 시므온과 레위는 형제요 그들의 칼은 잔해하는 기계로다
  1. Then Jacob summoned his sons and said, "Assemble yourselves that I may tell you what will befall you in the days to come.
  2. "Gather together and hear, O sons of Jacob; And listen to Israel your father.
  3. "Reuben, you are my firstborn; My might and the beginning of my strength, Preeminent in dignity and preeminent in power.
  4. "Uncontrolled as water, you shall not have preeminence, Because you went up to your father's bed; Then you defiled it--he went up to my couch.
  5. "Simeon and Levi are brothers; Their swords are implements of violence.
  1. 내 혼아 그들의 모의에 상관하지 말찌어다 내 영광아 그들의 집회에 참예하지 말찌어다 그들이 그 분노대로 사람을 죽이고 그 혈기대로 소의 발목 힘줄을 끊었음이로다
  2. 그 노염이 혹독하니 저주를 받을 것이요 분기가 맹렬하니 저주를 받을 것이라 내가 그들을 야곱 중에서 나누며 이스라엘 중에서 흩으리로다
  3. 유다야 너는 네 형제의 찬송이 될찌라 네 손이 네 원수의 목을 잡을 것이요 네 아비의 아들들이 네 앞에 절하리로다
  4. 유다는 사자 새끼로다 내 아들아 너는 움킨 것을 찢고 올라 갔도다 그의 엎드리고 웅크림이 수사자 같고 암사자 같으니 누가 그를 범할 수 있으랴
  5. 홀이 유다를 떠나지 아니하며 치리자의 지팡이가 그 발 사이에서 떠나지 아니하시기를 실로가 오시기까지 미치리니 그에게 모든 백성이 복종하리로다
  1. "Let my soul not enter into their council; Let not my glory be united with their assembly; Because in their anger they slew men, And in their self-will they lamed oxen.
  2. "Cursed be their anger, for it is fierce; And their wrath, for it is cruel. I will disperse them in Jacob, And scatter them in Israel.
  3. "Judah, your brothers shall praise you; Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; Your father's sons shall bow down to you.
  4. "Judah is a lion's whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up He couches, he lies down as a lion, And as a lion, who dares rouse him up?
  5. "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes, And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.
  1. 그의 나귀를 포도나무에 매며 그 암나귀 새끼를 아름다운 포도나무에 맬 것이며 또 그 옷을 포도주에 빨며 그 복장을 포도즙에 빨리로다
  2. 그 눈은 포도주로 인하여 붉겠고 그 이는 우유로 인하여 희리로다
  3. 스불론은 해변에 거하리니 그곳은 배 매는 해변이라 그 지경이 시돈까지리로다
  4. 잇사갈은 양의 우리 사이에 꿇어 앉은 건장한 나귀로다
  5. 그는 쉴 곳을 보고 좋게 여기며 토지를 보고 아름답게 여기고 어깨를 내려 짐을 메고 압제 아래서 섬기리로다
  1. "He ties his foal to the vine, And his donkey's colt to the choice vine; He washes his garments in wine, And his robes in the blood of grapes.
  2. "His eyes are dull from wine, And his teeth white from milk.
  3. "Zebulun will dwell at the seashore; And he shall be a haven for ships, And his flank shall be toward Sidon.
  4. "Issachar is a strong donkey, Lying down between the sheepfolds.
  5. "When he saw that a resting place was good And that the land was pleasant, He bowed his shoulder to bear burdens, And became a slave at forced labor.
  1. 단은 이스라엘의 한 지파 같이 그 백성을 심판하리로다
  2. 단은 길의 뱀이요 첩경의 독사리로다 말굽을 물어서 그 탄 자로 뒤로 떨어지게 하리로다
  3. 여호와여 나는 주의 구원을 기다리나이다
  4. 갓은 군대의 박격을 받으나 도리어 그 뒤를 추격하리로다
  5. 아셀에게서 나는 식물은 기름진 것이라 그가 왕의 진수를 공궤하리로다
  1. "Dan shall judge his people, As one of the tribes of Israel.
  2. "Dan shall be a serpent in the way, A horned snake in the path, That bites the horse's heels, So that his rider falls backward.
  3. "For Your salvation I wait, O LORD.
  4. "As for Gad, raiders shall raid him, But he will raid at their heels.
  5. "As for Asher, his food shall be rich, And he will yield royal dainties.
  1. 납달리는 놓인 암사슴이라 아름다운 소리를 발하는도다
  2. 요셉은 무성한 가지 곧 샘 곁의 무성한 가지라 그 가지가 담을 넘었도다
  3. 활쏘는 자가 그를 학대하며 그를 쏘며 그를 군박하였으나
  4. 요셉의 활이 도리어 견강하며 그의 팔이 힘이 있으니 야곱의 전능자의 손을 힘입음이라 그로부터 이스라엘의 반석인 목자가 나도다
  5. 네 아비의 하나님께로 말미암나니 그가 너를 도우실 것이요 전능자로 말미암나니 그가 네게 복을 주실 것이라 위로 하늘의 복과 아래로 원천의 복과 젖먹이는 복과 태의 복이리로다
  1. "Naphtali is a doe let loose, He gives beautiful words.
  2. "Joseph is a fruitful bough, A fruitful bough by a spring; Its branches run over a wall.
  3. "The archers bitterly attacked him, And shot at him and harassed him;
  4. But his bow remained firm, And his arms were agile, From the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel),
  5. From the God of your father who helps you, And by the Almighty who blesses you With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that lies beneath, Blessings of the breasts and of the womb.
  1. 네 아비의 축복이 내 부여조의 축복보다 나아서 영원한 산이 한 없음 같이 이 축복이 요셉의 머리로 돌아오며 그 형제중 뛰어난 자의 정수리로 돌아오리로다
  2. 베냐민은 물어 뜯는 이리라 아침에는 빼앗은 것을 먹고 저녁에는 움킨 것을 나누리로다
  3. 이들은 이스라엘의 십 이 지파라 이와 같이 그 아비가 그들에게 말하고 그들에게 축복하였으되 곧 그들 각인의 분량대로 축복하였더라
  4. 그가 그들에게 명하여 가로되 내가 내 열조에게로 돌아가리니 나를 헷 사람 에브론의 밭에 있는 굴에 우리 부여조와 함께 장사하라
  5. 이 굴은 가나안 땅 마므레 앞 막벨라 밭에 있는 것이라 아브라함이 헷 사람 에브론에게서 밭과 함께 사서 그 소유 매장지를 삼았으므로
  1. "The blessings of your father Have surpassed the blessings of my ancestors Up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills; May they be on the head of Joseph, And on the crown of the head of the one distinguished among his brothers.
  2. "Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; In the morning he devours the prey, And in the evening he divides the spoil."
  3. All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them when he blessed them. He blessed them, every one with the blessing appropriate to him.
  4. Then he charged them and said to them, "I am about to be gathered to my people; bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
  5. in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought along with the field from Ephron the Hittite for a burial site.
  1. 아브라함과 그 아내 사라가 거기 장사되었고 이삭과 그 아내 리브가도 거기 장사되었으며 나도 레아를 그곳에 장사하였노라
  2. 이 밭과 거기 있는 굴은 헷 사람에게서 산 것이니라
  3. 야곱이 아들에게 명하기를 마치고 그 발을 침상에 거두고 기운이 진하여 그 열조에게로 돌아갔더라
  1. "There they buried Abraham and his wife Sarah, there they buried Isaac and his wife Rebekah, and there I buried Leah--
  2. the field and the cave that is in it, purchased from the sons of Heth."
  3. When Jacob finished charging his sons, he drew his feet into the bed and breathed his last, and was gathered to his people.
 
  야곱의 장례와 요셉의 죽음(50:1-50:26)    
 
  1. 요셉이 아비 얼굴에 구푸려 울며 입맞추고
  2. 그 수종 의사에게 명하여 향 재료로 아비의 몸에 넣게 하매 의사가 이스라엘에게 그대로 하되
  3. 사십일이 걸렸으니 향 재료를 넣는데는 이 날수가 걸림이며 애굽 사람들은 칠십일 동안 그를 위하여 곡하였더라
  4. 곡하는 기한이 지나매 요셉이 바로의 궁에 말하여 가로되 내가 너희에게 은혜를 입었으면 청컨대 바로의 귀에 고하기를
  5. 우리 아버지가 나로 맹세하게 하여 이르되 내가 죽거든 가나안 땅에 내가 파서 둔 묘실에 나를 장사하라 하였나니 나로 올라가서 아버지를 장사하게 하소서 내가 다시 오리이다 하라 하였더니
  1. Then Joseph fell on his father's face, and wept over him and kissed him.
  2. Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father. So the physicians embalmed Israel.
  3. Now forty days were required for it, for such is the period required for embalming. And the Egyptians wept for him seventy days.
  4. When the days of mourning for him were past, Joseph spoke to the household of Pharaoh, saying, "If now I have found favor in your sight, please speak to Pharaoh, saying,
  5. 'My father made me swear, saying, "Behold, I am about to die; in my grave which I dug for myself in the land of Canaan, there you shall bury me." Now therefore, please let me go up and bury my father; then I will return.'"
  1. 바로가 가로되 그가 네게 시킨 맹세대로 올라가서 네 아비를 장사하라
  2. 요셉이 자기 아비를 장사하러 올라가니 바로의 모든 신하와 바로 궁의 장로들과 애굽 땅의 모든 장로와
  3. 요셉의 온 집과 그 형제들과 그 아비의 집이 그와 함께 올라가고 그들의 어린 아이들과 양떼와 소떼만 고센 땅에 남겼으며
  4. 병거와 기병이 요셉을 따라 올라가니 그 떼가 심히 컸더라
  5. 그들이 요단강 건너편 아닷 타작마당에 이르러 거기서 크게 호곡하고 애통하며 요셉이 아비를 위하여 칠일 동안 애곡하였더니
  1. Pharaoh said, "Go up and bury your father, as he made you swear."
  2. So Joseph went up to bury his father, and with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his household and all the elders of the land of Egypt,
  3. and all the household of Joseph and his brothers and his father's household; they left only their little ones and their flocks and their herds in the land of Goshen.
  4. There also went up with him both chariots and horsemen; and it was a very great company.
  5. When they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, they lamented there with a very great and sorrowful lamentation; and he observed seven days mourning for his father.
  1. 그 땅 거민 가나안 백성들이 아닷 마당의 애통을 보고 가로되 이는 애굽 사람의 큰 애통이라 하였으므로 그 땅 이름을 아벨미스라임이라 하였으니 곧 요단강 건너편이더라
  2. 야곱의 아들들이 부명을 좇아 행하여
  3. 그를 가나안 땅으로 메어다가 마므레 앞 막벨라 밭 굴에 장사하였으니 이는 아브라함이 헷 족속 에브론에게 밭과 함께 사서 소유 매장지를 삼은 곳이더라
  4. 요셉이 아비를 장사한 후에 자기 형제와 호상군과 함께 애굽으로 돌아왔더라
  5. 요셉의 형제들이 그 아비가 죽었음을 보고 말하되 요셉이 혹시 우리를 미워하여 우리가 그에게 행한 모든 악을 다 갚지나 아니할까 하고
  1. Now when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning at the threshing floor of Atad, they said, "This is a grievous mourning for the Egyptians." Therefore it was named Abel-mizraim, which is beyond the Jordan.
  2. Thus his sons did for him as he had charged them;
  3. for his sons carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre, which Abraham had bought along with the field for a burial site from Ephron the Hittite.
  4. After he had buried his father, Joseph returned to Egypt, he and his brothers, and all who had gone up with him to bury his father.
  5. When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, "What if Joseph bears a grudge against us and pays us back in full for all the wrong which we did to him!"
  1. 요셉에게 말을 전하여 가로되 당신의 아버지가 돌아가시기 전에 명하여 이르시기를
  2. 너희는 이같이 요셉에게 이르라 네 형들이 네게 악을 행하였을찌라도 이제 바라건대 그 허물과 죄를 용서하라 하셨다 하라 하셨나니 당신의 아버지의 하나님의 종들의 죄를 이제 용서하소서 하매 요셉이 그 말을 들을 때에 울었더라
  3. 그 형들이 또 친히 와서 요셉의 앞에 엎드려 가로되 우리는 당신의 종이니이다
  4. 요셉이 그들에게 이르되 두려워 마소서 내가 하나님을 대신하리이까
  5. 당신들은 나를 해하려 하였으나 하나님은 그것을 선으로 바꾸사 오늘과 같이 만민의 생명을 구원하게 하시려 하셨나니
  1. So they sent a message to Joseph, saying, "Your father charged before he died, saying,
  2. 'Thus you shall say to Joseph, "Please forgive, I beg you, the transgression of your brothers and their sin, for they did you wrong."' And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father." And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.
  3. Then his brothers also came and fell down before him and said, "Behold, we are your servants."
  4. But Joseph said to them, "Do not be afraid, for am I in God's place?
  5. "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.
  1. 당신들은 두려워 마소서 내가 당신들과 당신들의 자녀를 기르리이다 하고 그들을 간곡한 말로 위로하였더라
  2. 요셉이 그 아비의 가족과 함께 애굽에 거하여 일백 십세를 살며
  3. 에브라임의 자손 삼대를 보았으며 므낫세의 아들 마길의 아들들도 요셉의 슬하에서 양육되었더라
  4. 요셉이 그 형제에게 이르되 나는 죽으나 하나님이 너희를 권고하시고 너희를 이 땅에서 인도하여 내사 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 맹세하신 땅에 이르게 하시리라 하고
  5. 요셉이 또 이스라엘 자손에게 맹세시켜 이르기를 하나님이 정녕 너희를 권고하시리니 너희는 여기서 내 해골을 메고 올라가겠다 하라 하였더라
  1. "So therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones." So he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.
  2. Now Joseph stayed in Egypt, he and his father's household, and Joseph lived one hundred and ten years.
  3. Joseph saw the third generation of Ephraim's sons; also the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, were born on Joseph's knees.
  4. Joseph said to his brothers, "I am about to die, but God will surely take care of you and bring you up from this land to the land which He promised on oath to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob."
  5. Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, "God will surely take care of you, and you shall carry my bones up from here."
  1. 요셉이 일백 십세에 죽으매 그들이 그의 몸에 향 재료를 넣고 애굽에서 입관하였더라
  1. So Joseph died at the age of one hundred and ten years; and he was embalmed and placed in a coffin in Egypt.
