	역대하 29:1-30:27 히스기야는 하나님 보시기에 정직히 행하였으며, 아하스 시대에 파괴된 성전 복구 사업에 헌신하였다. 또한 성전을 성결케 한 후 성전에서 시행되던 각종 제사들을 실시하였으며, 복구된 성전에서 유월절을 지키도록 결정함으로써 이스라엘 백성들이 예루살렘에 모여 유월절 의식을 시행하며 하나님을 섬겼다.

	성전 정화(29:1-29:36)

히스기야가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 오세라 예루살렘에서 이십 구년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 아비야라 스가랴의 딸이더라

히스기야가 그 조상 다윗의 모든 행위와 같이 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하여

원년 정월에 여호와의 전 문들을 열고 수리하고

제사장들과 레위 사람들을 동편 광장에 모으고

저희에게 이르되 레위 사람들아 내 말을 들으라 이제 너희는 성결케 하고 또 너희 열조의 하나님 여호와의 전을 성결케 하여 그 더러운 것을 성소에서 없이하라

Hezekiah became king when he was twenty-five years old; and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

He did right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father David had done.

In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the house of the LORD and repaired them.

He brought in the priests and the Levites and gathered them into the square on the east.

Then he said to them, "Listen to me, O Levites. Consecrate yourselves now, and consecrate the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry the uncleanness out from the holy place.

우리 열조가 범죄하여 우리 하나님 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 하나님을 버리고 얼굴을 돌이켜 여호와의 성소를 등지고

또 낭실 문을 닫으며 등불을 끄고 성소에서 분향하지 아니하며 이스라엘 하나님께 번제를 드리지 아니한고로

여호와께서 유다와 예루살렘을 진노하시고 내어버리사 두려움과 놀람과 비웃음거리가 되게 하신 것을 너희가 목도하는바라

이로 인하여 우리의 열조가 칼에 엎드러지며 우리의 자녀와 아내가 사로잡혔느니라

이제 이스라엘 하나님 여호와로 더불어 언약을 세워 그 맹렬한 노로 우리에게서 떠나게 할 마음이 내게 있노니

"For our fathers have been unfaithful and have done evil in the sight of the LORD our God, and have forsaken Him and turned their faces away from the dwelling place of the LORD, and have turned their backs.

"They have also shut the doors of the porch and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense or offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.

"Therefore the wrath of the LORD was against Judah and Jerusalem, and He has made them an object of terror, of horror, and of hissing, as you see with your own eyes.

"For behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.

"Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that His burning anger may turn away from us.

내 아들들아 이제는 게으르지 말라 여호와께서 이미 너희를 택하사 그 앞에 서서 수종들어 섬기며 분향하게 하셨느니라

이에 레위 사람들이 일어나니 곧 그핫의 자손 중 아마새의 아들 마핫과 아사랴의 아들 요엘과 므라리의 자손 중 압디의 아들 기스와 여할렐렐의 아들 아사랴와 게르손 사람 중 심마의 아들 요아와 요아의 아들 에덴과

엘리사반의 자손 중 시므리와 여우엘과 아삽의 자손 중 스가랴와 맛다냐와

헤만의 자손 중 여후엘과 시므이와 여두둔의 자손 중 스마야와 웃시엘이라

저희가 그 형제를 모아 성결케 하고 들어가서 왕이 여호와의 말씀대로 명한것을 좇아 여호와의 전을 깨끗케 할쌔

"My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers and burn incense."

Then the Levites arose: Mahath, the son of Amasai and Joel the son of Azariah, from the sons of the Kohathites; and from the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi and Azariah the son of Jehallelel; and from the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah and Eden the son of Joah;

and from the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeiel; and from the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah;

and from the sons of Heman, Jehiel and Shimei; and from the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.

They assembled their brothers, consecrated themselves, and went in to cleanse the house of the LORD, according to the commandment of the king by the words of the LORD.

제사장들도 여호와의 전 안에 들어가서 깨끗케 하여 여호와의 전에 있는 모든 더러운 것을 끌어 내어 여호와의 전 뜰에 이르매 레위 사람들이 취하여 바깥 기드론 시내로 가져갔더라

정월 초하루에 성결케 하기를 시작하여 그달 초팔일에 여호와의 낭실에 이르고 또 팔일 동안 여호와의 전을 성결케 하여 정월 십 륙일에 이르러 마치고

안으로 들어가서 히스기야왕을 보고 가로되 우리가 여호와의 온 전과 번제단과 그 모든 기구와 떡을 진설하는 상과 그 모든 기구를 깨끗케 하였고

또 아하스왕이 위에 있어 범죄할 때에 버린 모든 기구도 우리가 정돈하고 성결케 하여 여호와의 단 앞에 두었나이다 하니라

히스기야왕이 일찌기 일어나 성읍의 귀인들을 모아 여호와의 전에 올라가서

So the priests went in to the inner part of the house of the LORD to cleanse it, and every unclean thing which they found in the temple of the LORD they brought out to the court of the house of the LORD. Then the Levites received it to carry out to the Kidron valley.

Now they began the consecration on the first day of the first month, and on the eighth day of the month they entered the porch of the LORD. Then they consecrated the house of the LORD in eight days, and finished on the sixteenth day of the first month.

Then they went in to King Hezekiah and said, "We have cleansed the whole house of the LORD, the altar of burnt offering with all of its utensils, and the table of showbread with all of its utensils.

"Moreover, all the utensils which King Ahaz had discarded during his reign in his unfaithfulness, we have prepared and consecrated; and behold, they are before the altar of the LORD."

Then King Hezekiah arose early and assembled the princes of the city and went up to the house of the LORD.

수송아지 일곱과 수양 일곱과 어린 양 일곱과 수염소 일곱을 끌어다가 나라와 성소와 유다를 위하여 속죄 제물을 삼고 아론의 자손 제사장들을 명하여 여호와의 단에 드리게 하니

이에 수소를 잡으매 제사장이 그 피를 받아 단에 뿌리고 또 수양을 잡으매 그 피를 단에 뿌리고 또 어린 양을 잡으매 그 피를 단에 뿌리고

이에 속죄 제물로 드릴 수염소를 왕과 회중의 앞으로 끌어 오매 저희가 그 위에 안수하고

제사장이 잡아 그 피로 속죄제를 삼아 단에 드려 온 이스라엘을 위하여 속죄하니 이는 왕이 명하여 온 이스라엘을 위하여 번제와 속죄제를 드리게 하였음이더라

왕이 레위 사람을 여호와의 전에 두어서 다윗과 왕의 선견자 갓과 선지자 나단의 명한대로 제금과 비파와 수금을 잡게 하니 이는 여호와께서 그 선지자들로 이렇게 명하셨음이라

They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs and seven male goats for a sin offering for the kingdom, the sanctuary, and Judah. And he ordered the priests, the sons of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of the LORD.

So they slaughtered the bulls, and the priests took the blood and sprinkled it on the altar. They also slaughtered the rams and sprinkled the blood on the altar; they slaughtered the lambs also and sprinkled the blood on the altar.

Then they brought the male goats of the sin offering before the king and the assembly, and they laid their hands on them.

The priests slaughtered them and purged the altar with their blood to atone for all Israel, for the king ordered the burnt offering and the sin offering for all Israel.

He then stationed the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with harps and with lyres, according to the command of David and of Gad the king's seer, and of Nathan the prophet; for the command was from the LORD through His prophets.

레위 사람은 다윗의 악기를 잡고 제사장은 나팔을 잡고 서매

히스기야가 명하여 번제를 단에 드릴쌔 번제 드리기를 시작하는 동시에 여호와의 시로 노래하고 나팔을 불며 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 악기를 울리고

온 회중이 경배하며 노래하는 자들은 노래하고 나팔 부는 자들은 나팔을 불어 번제를 마치기까지 이르니라

제사 드리기를 마치매 왕과 그 함께 있는 자가 다 엎드려 경배하니라

히스기야왕이 귀인들로 더불어 레위 사람을 명하여 다윗과 선견자 아삽의 시로 여호와를 찬송하게 하매 저희가 즐거움으로 찬송하고 몸을 굽혀 경배하니라

The Levites stood with the musical instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

Then Hezekiah gave the order to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the song to the LORD also began with the trumpets, accompanied by the instruments of David, king of Israel.

While the whole assembly worshiped, the singers also sang and the trumpets sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

Now at the completion of the burnt offerings, the king and all who were present with him bowed down and worshiped.

Moreover, King Hezekiah and the officials ordered the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David and Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with joy, and bowed down and worshiped.

이에 히스기야가 일러 가로되 너희가 이제 몸을 깨끗케 하여 여호와께 드렸으니 마땅히 나아와 제물과 감사제물을 여호와의 전으로 가져오라 회중이 드디어 제물과 감사제물을 가져오되 무릇 마음에 원하는 자는 또한 번제물을 가져오니

회중의 가져온 번제물의 수효는 수소가 칠십이요 수양이 일백이요 어린양이 이백이니 이는 다 여호와께 번제물로 드리는 것이며

또 구별하여 드린 소가 육백이요 양이 삼천이라

그런데 제사장이 부족하여 그 모든 번제 짐승의 가죽을 능히 벗기지 못하는고로 그 형제 레위 사람이 그 일을 마치기까지 돕고 다른 제사장의 성결케 하기까지 기다렸으니 이는 레위 사람의 성결케 함이 제사장들보다 성심이 있었음이라

번제와 화목제의 기름과 각 번제에 속한 전제가 많더라 이와 같이 여호와의 전에서 섬기는 일이 순서대로 갖추어지니라

Then Hezekiah said, "Now that you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings to the house of the LORD " And the assembly brought sacrifices and thank offerings, and all those who were willing brought burnt offerings.

The number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was 70 bulls, 100 rams, and 200 lambs; all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.

The consecrated things were 600 bulls and 3,000 sheep.

But the priests were too few, so that they were unable to skin all the burnt offerings; therefore their brothers the Levites helped them until the work was completed and until the other priests had consecrated themselves For the Levites were more conscientious to consecrate themselves than the priests.

There were also many burnt offerings with the fat of the peace offerings and with the libations for the burnt offerings. Thus the service of the house of the LORD was established again.

이 일이 갑자기 되었을찌라도 하나님이 백성을 위하여 예비하셨음을 인하여 히스기야가 백성으로 더불어 기뻐하였더라

Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced over what God had prepared for the people, because the thing came about suddenly.

	유월절 준수(30:1-30:27)

히스기야가 온 이스라엘과 유다에 보내고 또 에브라임과 므낫세에 편지를 보내어 예루살렘 여호와의 전에 와서 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 위하여 유월절을 지키라 하니라

왕이 방백들과 예루살렘 온 회중으로 더불어 의논하고 이월에 유월절을 지키려 하였으니

이는 성결케한 제사장이 부족하고 백성도 예루살렘에 모이지 못한고로 그 정한 때에 지킬수 없었음이라

왕과 온회중이 이 일을 선히 여기고

드디어 명을 발하여 브엘세바에서부터 단까지 온 이스라엘에 반포하여 일제히 예루살렘으로 와서 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 유월절을 지키라 하니 이는 기록한 규례대로 오래동안 지키지 못하였음이더라

Now Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover to the LORD God of Israel.

For the king and his princes and all the assembly in Jerusalem had decided to celebrate the Passover in the second month,

since they could not celebrate it at that time, because the priests had not consecrated themselves in sufficient numbers, nor had the people been gathered to Jerusalem.

Thus the thing was right in the sight of the king and all the assembly.

So they established a decree to circulate a proclamation throughout all Israel from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to celebrate the Passover to the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem. For they had not celebrated it in great numbers as it was prescribed.

보발군들이 왕과 방백들의 편지를 받아가지고 왕의 명을 좇아 온 이스라엘과 유다에 두루 다니며 전하니 일렀으되 이스라엘 자손들아 너희는 아브라함과 이삭과 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께로 돌아 오라 그리하면 저가 너희 남은자 곧 앗수르 왕의 손에서 벗어난 자에게로 돌아오시리라

너희 열조와 너희 형제 같이 하지 말라 저희가 그 열조의 하나님 여호와께 범죄한고로 여호와께서 멸망에 붙이신 것을 너희가 목도하는 바니라

그런즉 너희 열조 같이 목을 곧게 하지 말고 여호와께 귀순하여 영원히 거룩케 하신 전에 들어가서 너희 하나님 여호와를 섬겨 그 진노가 너희에게서 떠나게 하라

너희가 만일 여호와께 돌아오면 너희 형제와 너희 자녀가 사로잡은 자에게서 자비를 입어 다시 이 땅으로 돌아오리라 너희 하나님 여호와는 은혜로우시고 자비하신지라 너희가 그에게로 돌아오면 그 얼굴을 너희에게서 돌이키지 아니하시리라 하였더라

보발군이 에브라임과 므낫세 지방 각 성에 두루 다녀 스불론까지 이르렀으나 사람들이 저희를 조롱하며 비웃었더라

The couriers went throughout all Israel and Judah with the letters from the hand of the king and his princes, even according to the command of the king, saying, "O sons of Israel, return to the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, that He may return to those of you who escaped and are left from the hand of the kings of Assyria.

"Do not be like your fathers and your brothers, who were unfaithful to the LORD God of their fathers, so that He made them a horror, as you see.

"Now do not stiffen your neck like your fathers, but yield to the LORD and enter His sanctuary which He has consecrated forever, and serve the LORD your God, that His burning anger may turn away from you.

"For if you return to the LORD, your brothers and your sons will find compassion before those who led them captive and will return to this land For the LORD your God is gracious and compassionate, and will not turn His face away from you if you return to Him."

So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, and as far as Zebulun, but they laughed them to scorn and mocked them.

그러나 아셀과 므낫세와 스불론 중에서 몇사람이 스스로 겸비하여 예루살렘에 이르렀고

하나님이 또한 유다 사람들을 감동시키사 저희로 왕과 방백들이 여호와의 말씀대로 전한 명령을 일심으로 준행하게 하셨더라

이월에 백성이 무교절을 지키려 하여 예루살렘에 많이 모이니 심히 큰 회라

무리가 일어나 예루살렘에 있는 제단과 향단들을 모두 제하여 기드론 시내에 던지고

이월 십 사일에 유월절 양을 잡으니 제사장과 레위 사람이 부끄러워하여 성결케 하고 번제물을 가지고 여호와의 전에 이르러

Nevertheless some men of Asher, Manasseh and Zebulun humbled themselves and came to Jerusalem.

The hand of God was also on Judah to give them one heart to do what the king and the princes commanded by the word of the LORD.

Now many people were gathered at Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the second month, a very large assembly.

They arose and removed the altars which were in Jerusalem; they also removed all the incense altars and cast them into the brook Kidron.

Then they slaughtered the Passover lambs on the fourteenth of the second month And the priests and Levites were ashamed of themselves, and consecrated themselves and brought burnt offerings to the house of the LORD.

규례대로 각각 자기 처소에 서고 하나님의 사람 모세의 율법을 좇아 제사장이 레위 사람의 손에서 피를 받아 뿌리니라

회중에 많은 사람이 성결케 하지 못한고로 레위 사람들이 모든 부정한 사람을 위하여 유월절 양을 잡아 저희로 여호와 앞에서 성결케 하였으나

에브라임과 므낫세와 잇사갈과 스불론의 많은 무리는 자기를 깨끗케 하지 아니하고 유월절 양을 먹어 기록한 규례에 어긴지라 히스기야가 위하여 기도하여 가로되 선하신 여호와여 사하옵소서

결심하고 하나님 곧 그 열조의 하나님 여호와를 구하는 아무 사람이든지 비록 성소의 결례대로 스스로 깨끗케 못하였을찌라도 사하옵소서 하였더니

여호와께서 히스기야의 기도를 들으시고 백성을 고치셨더라

They stood at their stations after their custom, according to the law of Moses the man of God; the priests sprinkled the blood which they received from the hand of the Levites.

For there were many in the assembly who had not consecrated themselves; therefore, the Levites were over the slaughter of the Passover lambs for everyone who was unclean, in order to consecrate them to the LORD.

For a multitude of the people, even many from Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun, had not purified themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise than prescribed. For Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, "May the good LORD pardon

everyone who prepares his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though not according to the purification rules of the sanctuary."

So the LORD heard Hezekiah and healed the people.

예루살렘에 모인 이스라엘 자손이 크게 즐거워하며 칠일 동안 무교절을 지켰고 레위 사람들과 제사장들은 날마다 여호와를 칭송하며 큰 소리나는 악기를 울려 여호와를 찬양하였으며

히스기야는 여호와를 섬기는 일에 통달한 모든 레위 사람에게 위로하였더라 이와 같이 절기 칠일 동안에 무리가 먹으며 화목제를 드리고 그 열조의 하나님 여호와께 감사하였더라

온 회가 다시 칠일을 지키기로 결의하고 이에 또 칠일을 즐거이 지켰더라

유다 왕 히스기야가 수송아지 일천과 양 칠천을 회중에게 주었고 방백들은 수송아지 일천과 양 일만을 회중에게 주었으며 성결케 한 제사장도 많았는지라

유다 온 회중과 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 이스라엘에서 온 온 회중과 이스라엘 땅에서 나온 나그네와 유다에 거한 나그네가 다 즐거워 하였으므로

The sons of Israel present in Jerusalem celebrated the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days with great joy, and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day after day with loud instruments to the LORD.

Then Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites who showed good insight in the things of the LORD So they ate for the appointed seven days, sacrificing peace offerings and giving thanks to the LORD God of their fathers.

Then the whole assembly decided to celebrate the feast another seven days, so they celebrated the seven days with joy.

For Hezekiah king of Judah had contributed to the assembly 1,000 bulls and 7,000 sheep, and the princes had contributed to the assembly 1,000 bulls and 10,000 sheep; and a large number of priests consecrated themselves.

All the assembly of Judah rejoiced, with the priests and the Levites and all the assembly that came from Israel, both the sojourners who came from the land of Israel and those living in Judah.

예루살렘에 큰 희락이 있었으니 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 아들 솔로몬 때로부터 이러한 희락이 예루살렘에 없었더라

그 때에 제사장들과 레위 사람들이 일어나서 백성을 위하여 축복하였으니 그 소리가 들으신바 되고 그 기도가 여호와의 거룩한 처소 하늘에 상달하였더라

So there was great joy in Jerusalem, because there was nothing like this in Jerusalem since the days of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel.

Then the Levitical priests arose and blessed the people; and their voice was heard and their prayer came to His holy dwelling place, to heaven.
