사사기 5:1-6:40

 드보라와 바락은 가나안 왕 야빈을 물리친 후 승리를 기념하는 노래를 지어 불렀다. 이스라엘이 다시 타락하자 하나님께서는 미디안을 통해 징계하셨다. 미디안의 압제하에 고통받던 이스라엘은 다시 하나님께 회개하며 부르짖었다. 이에 하나님께서는 기드온을 사사로 부르셨으며, 여러 가지 이적과 징표를 통해 그에게 소명을 확신시켜 주셨다.
  
  드보라와 바락의 노래(5:1-5:31)    
 
  1. 이 날에 드보라와 아비노암의 아들 바락이 노래하여 가로되
  2. 이스라엘의 두령이 그를 영솔하였고 백성이 즐거이 헌신하였으니 여호와를 찬송하라
  3. 너희 왕들아 들으라 방백들아 귀를 기울이라 나 곧 내가 여호와를 노래할 것이요 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 찬송하리로다
  4. 여호와여 주께서 세일에서부터 나오시고 에돔 들에서부터 진행하실 때에 땅이 진동하고 하늘도 새어서 구름이 물을 내렸나이다
  5. 산들이 여호와 앞에서 진동하니 저 시내산도 이스라엘 하나님 여호와 앞에서 진동하였도다
  1. Then Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang on that day, saying,
  2. "That the leaders led in Israel, That the people volunteered, Bless the LORD!
  3. "Hear, O kings; give ear, O rulers! I--to the LORD, I will sing, I will sing praise to the LORD, the God of Israel.
  4. "LORD, when You went out from Seir, When You marched from the field of Edom, The earth quaked, the heavens also dripped, Even the clouds dripped water.
  5. "The mountains quaked at the presence of the LORD, This Sinai, at the presence of the LORD, the God of Israel.
  1. 아낫의 아들 삼갈의 날에 또는 야엘의 날에는 대로가 비었고 행인들은 소로로 다녔도다
  2. 이스라엘에 관원이 그치고 그쳤더니 나 드보라가 일어났고 내가 일어나서 이스라엘의 어미가 되었도다
  3. 무리가 새 신들을 택하였으므로 그 때에 전쟁이 성문에 미쳤으나 이스라엘 사만명 중에 방패와 창이 보였던고
  4. 내 마음이 이스라엘의 방백을 사모함은 그들이 백성 중에서 즐거이 헌신하였음이라 여호와를 찬송하라
  5. 흰 나귀를 탄 자들, 귀한 화문석에 앉은 자들, 길에 행하는 자들아 선파할찌어다
  1. "In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, In the days of Jael, the highways were deserted, And travelers went by roundabout ways.
  2. "The peasantry ceased, they ceased in Israel, Until I, Deborah, arose, Until I arose, a mother in Israel.
  3. "New gods were chosen; Then war was in the gates. Not a shield or a spear was seen Among forty thousand in Israel.
  4. "My heart goes out to the commanders of Israel, The volunteers among the people; Bless the LORD!
  5. "You who ride on white donkeys, You who sit on rich carpets, And you who travel on the road--sing!
  1. 활쏘는 자의 지꺼림에서, 멀리 떨어진 물 긷는 곳에서도 여호와의 의로우신 일을 칭술하라 그의 이스라엘을 다스리시는 의로우신 일을 칭술하라 그 때에 여호와의 백성이 성문에 내려갔도다
  2. 깰찌어다 깰찌어다 드보라여 깰찌어다 깰찌어다 너는 노래할찌어다 일어날찌어다 바락이여 아비노암의 아들이여 네 사로잡은 자를 끌고 갈찌어다
  3. 그 때에 남은 귀인과 백성이 내려왔고 여호와께서 나를 위하여 용사를 치시려고 강림하셨도다
  4. 에브라임에게서 나온 자는 아말렉에 뿌리 박힌 자요 그 다음에 베냐민은 너희 백성 중에 섞였으며 마길에게서는 다스리는 자들이 내려왔고 스불론에게서는 대장군의 지팡이를 잡은 자가 내려왔도다
  5. 잇사갈의 방백들이 드보라와 함께하니 잇사갈의 심사를 바락도 가졌도다 그 발을 좇아 골짜기로 달려 내려가니 르우벤 시냇가에 큰 결심이 있었도다
  1. "At the sound of those who divide flocks among the watering places, There they shall recount the righteous deeds of the LORD, The righteous deeds for His peasantry in Israel Then the people of the LORD went down to the gates.
  2. "Awake, awake, Deborah; Awake, awake, sing a song! Arise, Barak, and take away your captives, O son of Abinoam.
  3. "Then survivors came down to the nobles; The people of the LORD came down to me as warriors.
  4. "From Ephraim those whose root is in Amalek came down, Following you, Benjamin, with your peoples; From Machir commanders came down, And from Zebulun those who wield the staff of office.
  5. "And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; As was Issachar, so was Barak; Into the valley they rushed at his heels; Among the divisions of Reuben There were great resolves of heart.
  1. 네가 양의 우리 가운데 앉아서 목자의 저 부는 소리를 들음은 어찜이뇨 르우벤 시냇가에서 마음에 크게 살핌이 있도다
  2. 길르앗은 요단 저편에 거하거늘 단은 배에 머무름은 어찜이뇨 아셀은 해빈에 앉고 자기 시냇가에 거하도다
  3. 스불론은 죽음을 무릅쓰고 생명을 아끼지 아니한 백성이요 납달리도 들의 높은 곳에서 그러하도다
  4. 열왕이 와서 싸울 때에 가나안 열왕이 므깃도 물 가 다아낙에서 싸웠으나 돈을 탈취하지 못하였도다
  5. 별들이 하늘에서부터 싸우되 그 다니는 길에서 시스라와 싸웠도다
  1. "Why did you sit among the sheepfolds, To hear the piping for the flocks? Among the divisions of Reuben There were great searchings of heart.
  2. "Gilead remained across the Jordan; And why did Dan stay in ships? Asher sat at the seashore, And remained by its landings.
  3. "Zebulun was a people who despised their lives even to death, And Naphtali also, on the high places of the field.
  4. "The kings came and fought; Then fought the kings of Canaan At Taanach near the waters of Megiddo; They took no plunder in silver.
  5. "The stars fought from heaven, From their courses they fought against Sisera.
  1. 기손강은 그 무리를 표류시켰으니 이 기손강은 옛강이라 내 영혼아 네가 힘 있는 자를 밟았도다
  2. 그 때에 군마가 빨리 달리니 말굽소리는 땅을 울리도다
  3. 여호와의 사자의 말씀에 메로스를 저주하라 너희가 거듭 거듭 그 거민을 저주할 것은 그들이 와서 여호와를 돕지 아니하며 여호와를 도와 용사를 치지 아니함이니라 하시도다
  4. 겐 사람 헤벨의 아내 야엘은 다른 여인보다 복을 받을 것이니 장막에 거한 여인보다 더욱 복을 받을 것이로다
  5. 시스라가 물을 구하매 우유를 주되 곧 엉긴 젖을 귀한 그릇에 담아주었고
  1. "The torrent of Kishon swept them away, The ancient torrent, the torrent Kishon. O my soul, march on with strength.
  2. "Then the horses' hoofs beat From the dashing, the dashing of his valiant steeds.
  3. 'Curse Meroz,' said the angel of the LORD, 'Utterly curse its inhabitants; Because they did not come to the help of the LORD, To the help of the LORD against the warriors.'
  4. "Most blessed of women is Jael, The wife of Heber the Kenite; Most blessed is she of women in the tent.
  5. "He asked for water and she gave him milk; In a magnificent bowl she brought him curds.
  1. 손으로 장막 말뚝을 잡으며 오른손에 장인의 방망이를 들고 그 방망이로 시스라를 쳐서 머리를 뚫되 곧 살쩍을 꿰뚫었도다
  2. 그가 그의 발 앞에 꾸부러지며 엎드러지고 쓰러졌고 그의 발 앞에 꾸부러져 엎드러져서 그 꾸부러진 곳에 엎드러져 죽었도다
  3. 시스라의 어미가 창문으로 바라보며 살창에서 부르짖기를 그의 병거가 어찌하여 더디 오는고 그의 병거 바퀴가 어찌하여 더디 구는고 하매
  4. 그 지혜로운 시녀들이 대답하였겠고 그도 스스로 대답하기를
  5. 그들이 어찌 노략물을 얻지 못하였으랴 그것을 나누지 못하였으랴 사람마다 한 두 처녀를 얻었으리로다 시스라는 채색옷을 노략하였으리니 그것은 수놓은 채색옷이리로다 곧 양편에 수놓은 채색옷이리니 노략한 자의 목에 꾸미리로다 하였으리라
  1. "She reached out her hand for the tent peg, And her right hand for the workmen's hammer. Then she struck Sisera, she smashed his head; And she shattered and pierced his temple.
  2. "Between her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay; Between her feet he bowed, he fell; Where he bowed, there he fell dead.
  3. "Out of the window she looked and lamented, The mother of Sisera through the lattice, 'Why does his chariot delay in coming? Why do the hoofbeats of his chariots tarry?'
  4. "Her wise princesses would answer her, Indeed she repeats her words to herself,
  5. 'Are they not finding, are they not dividing the spoil? A maiden, two maidens for every warrior; To Sisera a spoil of dyed work, A spoil of dyed work embroidered, Dyed work of double embroidery on the neck of the spoiler?'
  1. 여호와여 주의 대적은 다 이와 같이 망하게 하시고 주를 사랑하는 자는 해가 힘있게 돋음 같게 하시옵소서 하니라 그 땅이 사십년 동안 태평하였더라
  1. "Thus let all Your enemies perish, O LORD; But let those who love Him be like the rising of the sun in its might." And the land was undisturbed for forty years.
 
  기드온의 소명(6:1-6:40)    
 
  1. 이스라엘 자손이 또 여호와의 목전에 악을 행하였으므로 여호와께서 칠년 동안 그들을 미디안의 손에 붙이시니
  2. 미디안의 손이 이스라엘을 이긴지라 이스라엘 자손이 미디안을 인하여 산에서 구멍과 굴과 산성을 자기를 위하여 만들었으며
  3. 이스라엘이 파종한 때면 미디안 사람, 아말렉 사람, 동방 사람이 치러 올라와서
  4. 진을 치고 가사에 이르도록 토지 소산을 멸하여 이스라엘 가운데 식물을 남겨두지 아니하며 양이나 소나 나귀도 남기지 아니하니
  5. 이는 그들이 그 짐승과 장막을 가지고 올라와서 메뚜기떼 같이 들어오니 그 사람과 약대가 무수함이라 그들이 그 땅에 들어와 멸하려 하니
  1. Then the sons of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD gave them into the hands of Midian seven years.
  2. The power of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of Midian the sons of Israel made for themselves the dens which were in the mountains and the caves and the strongholds.
  3. For it was when Israel had sown, that the Midianites would come up with the Amalekites and the sons of the east and go against them.
  4. So they would camp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance in Israel as well as no sheep, ox, or donkey.
  5. For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, they would come in like locusts for number, both they and their camels were innumerable; and they came into the land to devastate it.
  1. 이스라엘이 미디안을 인하여 미약함이 심한지라 이에 이스라엘 자손이 여호와께 부르짖었더라
  2. 이스라엘 자손이 미디안을 인하여 여호와께 부르짖은고로
  3. 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손에게 한 선지자를 보내사 그들에게 이르되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀에 내가 너희를 애굽에서 인도하여 내며 너희를 그 종 되었던 집에서 나오게 하여
  4. 애굽 사람의 손과 너희를 학대하는 모든 자의 손에서 너희를 건져내고 그들을 너희 앞에서 쫓아내고 그 땅을 너희에게 주었으며
  5. 내가 또 너희에게 이르기를 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니 너희의 거하는 아모리 사람의 땅의 신들을 두려워 말라 하였으나 너희가 내 목소리를 청종치 아니하였느니라 하셨다 하니라
  1. So Israel was brought very low because of Midian, and the sons of Israel cried to the LORD.
  2. Now it came about when the sons of Israel cried to the LORD on account of Midian,
  3. that the LORD sent a prophet to the sons of Israel, and he said to them, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'It was I who brought you up from Egypt and brought you out from the house of slavery.
  4. 'I delivered you from the hands of the Egyptians and from the hands of all your oppressors, and dispossessed them before you and gave you their land,
  5. and I said to you, "I am the LORD your God; you shall not fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live. But you have not obeyed Me."'"
  1. 여호와의 사자가 아비에셀 사람 요아스에게 속한 오브라에 이르러 상수리나무 아래 앉으니라 마침 요아스의 아들 기드온이 미디안 사람에게 알리지 아니하려 하여 밀을 포도주 틀에서 타작하더니
  2. 여호와의 사자가 기드온에게 나타나 이르되 큰 용사여 여호와께서 너와 함께 계시도다
  3. 기드온이 그에게 대답하되 나의 주여 여호와께서 우리와 함께 계시면 어찌하여 이 모든 일이 우리에게 미쳤나이까 또 우리 열조가 일찍 우리에게 이르기를 여호와께서 우리를 애굽에서 나오게 하신 것이 아니냐 한 그 모든 이적이 어디 있나이까 이제 여호와께서 우리를 버리사 미디안의 손에 붙이셨나이다
  4. 여호와께서 그를 돌아보아 가라사대 너는 이 네 힘을 의지하고 가서 이스라엘을 미디안의 손에서 구원하라 내가 너를 보낸 것이 아니냐
  5. 기드온이 그에게 대답하되 주여 내가 무엇으로 이스라엘을 구원하리이까 보소서 나의 집은 므낫세 중에 극히 약하고 나는 내 아비 집에서 제일 작은 자니이다
  1. Then the angel of the LORD came and sat under the oak that was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite as his son Gideon was beating out wheat in the wine press in order to save it from the Midianites.
  2. The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said to him, "The LORD is with you, O valiant warrior."
  3. Then Gideon said to him, "O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, 'Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?' But now the LORD has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian."
  4. The LORD looked at him and said, "Go in this your strength and deliver Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you?"
  5. He said to Him, "O Lord, how shall I deliver Israel? Behold, my family is the least in Manasseh, and I am the youngest in my father's house."
  1. 여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 내가 반드시 너와 함께 하리니 네가 미디안 사람 치기를 한 사람을 치듯하리라
  2. 기드온이 그에게 대답하되 내가 주께 은혜를 얻었사오면 나와 말씀하신 이가 주 되시는 표징을 내게 보이소서
  3. 내가 예물을 가지고 다시 주께로 와서 그것을 주 앞에 드리기까지 이곳을 떠나지 마시기를 원하나이다 그가 가로되 내가 너 돌아오기를 기다리리라
  4. 기드온이 가서 염소 새끼 하나를 준비하고 가루 한 에바로 무교전병을 만들고 고기를 소쿠리에 담고 국을 양푼에 담아서 상수리나무 아래 그에게로 가져다가 드리매
  5. 하나님의 사자가 그에게 이르되 고기와 무교전병을 가져 이 반석 위에 두고 그 위에 국을 쏟으라 기드온이 그대로 하니
  1. But the LORD said to him, "Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat Midian as one man."
  2. So Gideon said to Him, "If now I have found favor in Your sight, then show me a sign that it is You who speak with me.
  3. "Please do not depart from here, until I come back to You, and bring out my offering and lay it before You." And He said, "I will remain until you return."
  4. Then Gideon went in and prepared a young goat and unleavened bread from an ephah of flour; he put the meat in a basket and the broth in a pot, and brought them out to him under the oak and presented them.
  5. The angel of God said to him, "Take the meat and the unleavened bread and lay them on this rock, and pour out the broth." And he did so.
  1. 여호와의 사자가 손에 잡은 지팡이 끝을 내밀어 고기와 무교전병에 대매 불이 반석에서 나와 고기와 무교전병을 살랐고 여호와의 사자는 떠나서 보이지 아니한지라
  2. 기드온이 그가 여호와의 사자인줄 알고 가로되 슬프도소이다 주 여호와여 내가 여호와의 사자를 대면하여 보았나이다
  3. 여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 너는 안심하라 두려워 말라 죽지 아니하리라 하시니라
  4. 기드온이 여호와를 위하여 거기서 단을 쌓고 이름을 여호와살롬이라 하였더라 그것이 오늘까지 아비에셀 사람에게 속한 오브라에 있더라
  5. 이날 밤에 여호와께서 기드온에게 이르시되 네 아비의 수소 곧 칠년된 둘째 수소를 취하고 네 아비에게 있는 바알의 단을 헐며 단 곁의 아세라 상을 찍고
  1. Then the angel of the LORD put out the end of the staff that was in his hand and touched the meat and the unleavened bread; and fire sprang up from the rock and consumed the meat and the unleavened bread. Then the angel of the LORD vanished from his sight.
  2. When Gideon saw that he was the angel of the LORD, he said, "Alas, O Lord GOD! For now I have seen the angel of the LORD face to face."
  3. The LORD said to him, "Peace to you, do not fear; you shall not die."
  4. Then Gideon built an altar there to the LORD and named it The LORD is Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
  5. Now on the same night the LORD said to him, "Take your father's bull and a second bull seven years old, and pull down the altar of Baal which belongs to your father, and cut down the Asherah that is beside it;
  1. 또 이 견고한 성 위에 네 하나님 여호와를 위하여 규례대로 한 단을 쌓고 그 둘째 수소를 취하여 네가 찍은 아세라나무로 번제를 드릴찌니라
  2. 이에 기드온이 종 열을 데리고 여호와의 말씀하신대로 행하되 아비의 가족과 그 성읍 사람들을 두려워하므로 이 일을 감히 백주에 행하지 못하고 밤에 행하니라
  3. 성읍 사람들이 아침에 일찌기 일어나 본즉 바알의 단이 훼파되었으며 단 곁의 아세라가 찍혔고 새로 쌓은 단 위에 그 둘째 수소를 드렸는지라
  4. 서로 물어 가로되 이것이 누구의 소위인고 하고 그들이 캐어 물은 후에 가로되 요아스의 아들 기드온이 이를 행하였도다 하고
  5. 성읍 사람들이 요아스에게 이르되 네 아들을 끌어내라 그는 당연히 죽을찌니 이는 바알의 단을 훼파하고 단 곁의 아세라를 찍었음이니라
  1. and build an altar to the LORD your God on the top of this stronghold in an orderly manner, and take a second bull and offer a burnt offering with the wood of the Asherah which you shall cut down."
  2. Then Gideon took ten men of his servants and did as the LORD had spoken to him; and because he was too afraid of his father's household and the men of the city to do it by day, he did it by night.
  3. When the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was torn down, and the Asherah which was beside it was cut down, and the second bull was offered on the altar which had been built.
  4. They said to one another, "Who did this thing?" And when they searched about and inquired, they said, "Gideon the son of Joash did this thing."
  5. Then the men of the city said to Joash, "Bring out your son, that he may die, for he has torn down the altar of Baal, and indeed, he has cut down the Asherah which was beside it."
  1. 요아스가 자기를 둘러선 모든 자에게 이르되 너희가 바알을 위하여 쟁론하느냐 너희가 바알을 구원하겠느냐 그를 위하여 쟁론하는 자는 이 아침에 죽음을 당하리라 바알이 과연 신일찐대 그 단을 훼파하였은즉 스스로 쟁론할 것이니라 하니라
  2. 그 날에 기드온을 여룹바알이라 하였으니 이는 그가 바알의 단을 훼파하였은즉 바알이 더불어 쟁론할 것이라 함이었더라
  3. 때에 미디안 사람과 아말렉 사람과 동방 사람들이 다 모여 요단을 건너와서 이스르엘 골짜기에 진을 친지라
  4. 여호와의 신이 기드온에게 강림하시니 기드온이 나팔을 불매 아비에셀 족속이 다 모여서 그를 좇고
  5. 기드온이 또 사자를 온 므낫세에 두루 보내매 그들도 모여서 그를 좇고 또 사자를 아셀과 스불론과 납달리에 보내매 그 무리도 올라와서 그를 영접하더라
  1. But Joash said to all who stood against him, "Will you contend for Baal, or will you deliver him? Whoever will plead for him shall be put to death by morning. If he is a god, let him contend for himself, because someone has torn down his altar."
  2. Therefore on that day he named him Jerubbaal, that is to say, "Let Baal contend against him," because he had torn down his altar.
  3. Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the sons of the east assembled themselves; and they crossed over and camped in the valley of Jezreel.
  4. So the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon; and he blew a trumpet, and the Abiezrites were called together to follow him.
  5. He sent messengers throughout Manasseh, and they also were called together to follow him; and he sent messengers to Asher, Zebulun, and Naphtali, and they came up to meet them.
  1. 기드온이 하나님께 여짜오되 주께서 이미 말씀하심 같이 내 손으로 이스라엘을 구원하려 하시거든
  2. 보소서 내가 양털 한 뭉치를 타작마당에 두리니 이슬이 양털에만 있고 사면 땅은 마르면 주께서 이미 말씀하심 같이 내 손으로 이스라엘을 구원하실줄 내가 알겠나이다 하였더니
  3. 그대로 된지라 이튿날 기드온이 일찌기 일어나서 양털을 취하여 이슬을 짜니 물이 그릇에 가득하더라
  4. 기드온이 또 하나님께 여짜오되 주여 내게 진노하지 마옵소서 내가 이번만 말하리이다 구하옵나니 나로 다시 한번 양털로 시험하게 하소서 양털만 마르고 사면 땅에는 다 이슬이 있게 하옵소서 하였더니
  5. 이 밤에 하나님이 그대로 행하시니 곧 양털만 마르고 사면 땅에는 다 이슬이 있었더라
  1. Then Gideon said to God, "If You will deliver Israel through me, as You have spoken,
  2. behold, I will put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I will know that You will deliver Israel through me, as You have spoken."
  3. And it was so. When he arose early the next morning and squeezed the fleece, he drained the dew from the fleece, a bowl full of water.
  4. Then Gideon said to God, "Do not let Your anger burn against me that I may speak once more; please let me make a test once more with the fleece, let it now be dry only on the fleece, and let there be dew on all the ground."
  5. God did so that night; for it was dry only on the fleece, and dew was on all the ground.
