- 주님, 나의 진실을 변호하여 주십시오. 이 부르짖는 소리를 들어 주십시오. 거짓 없이 드리는 나의 기도에 귀를 기울여 주십시오.
- 주님, 친히 "너는 죄가 없다"고 판결하여 주십시오. 주님의 눈으로 공평하게 살펴보아 주십시오.
- 주님께서는 나의 마음을 시험하여 보시고, 밤새도록 심문하시며 샅샅이 캐어 보셨지만 내 잘못을 찾지 못하셨습니다. 내 입에서 무슨 잘못을 발견하셨습니까?
- 남들이야 어떠했든지, 나만은 주님께서 하신 말씀을 따랐기에, 약탈하는 무리의 길로 가지 않았습니다.
- 내 발걸음이 주님의 발자취만을 따랐기에, 그 길에서 벗어난 일이 없었습니다.

- Hear, O LORD, my righteous plea; listen to my cry. Give ear to my prayer-- it does not rise from deceitful lips.
- May my vindication come from you; may your eyes see what is right.
- Though you probe my heart and examine me at night, though you test me, you will find nothing; I have resolved that my mouth will not sin.
- As for the deeds of men-- by the word of your lips I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.
- My steps have held to your paths; my feet have not slipped.
