- 내가 주님을 애타게 부를 때에, 들어 주십시오. 나를 불쌍히 여기시고, 응답하여 주십시오.
- 주님께서 나더러 "내게 와서 예배하여라" 하셨을 때 "주님, 내가 가서 예배하겠습니다" 하고 대답하였으니,
- 주님의 얼굴을 내게 숨기지 말아 주십시오. 주님의 종에게 노하지 마십시오. 나를 물리치지 말아 주십시오. 주님은 나의 도움이십니다. 나를 버리지 마시고, 외면하지 말아 주십시오. 주님은 나를 구원하신 하나님이십니다.
- 나의 아버지와 나의 어머니는 나를 버려도, 주님은 나를 돌보아 주십니다.
- 주님, 주님의 길을 나에게 가르쳐 주십시오. 내 원수들이 엿보고 있으니, 나를 안전한 길로 인도하여 주십시오.

- Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
- When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
- Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
- When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
- Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

- 그들이 거짓으로 증언하며, 폭력을 휘둘러서 나에게 대항해 오니, 내 목숨을 내 원수의 뜻에 내맡기지 마십시오.
- 이 세상에 머무는 내 한 생애에, 내가 주님의 은덕을 입을 것을 나는 확실히 믿는다.
- 너는 주님을 기다려라. 강하고 담대하게 주님을 기다려라.

- I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
