다니엘 8:1-9:27

 벨사살 왕 3년에 다니엘은 숫양과 수염소 및 작은 뿔의 환상을 보고 천사 가브리엘로부터 그 환상에 대한 해석을 들었다. 다리오 왕 원년에 이스라엘의 포로 기간이 70년이라 기록된 예레미야 예언의 책을 본 다니엘은 그 연수가 되었다는 것을 깨닫고 민족을 위해 금식하며 기도하였다. 이 기도 중에 다니엘은 ‘70이레’의 예언을 받았다.
  
  다니엘의 두번째 환상(8:1-8:27)    
 
  1. 벨사살이 왕위에 오른 지 삼 년이 되는 해에, 나 다니엘은 처음 본 것에 이어 두 번째로 환상을 보았다.
  2. 환상 속에서 보니, 나는 엘람 지방 수산 성 을래 강 가에 서 있었다.
  3. 내가 눈을 들어 보니, 숫양 한 마리가 강가에 서 있는데, 그 숫양에게는 뿔이 둘 있고, 그 뿔이 둘 다 길었는데, 한 뿔은 다른 뿔보다 더 길었다. 그 긴 것이 나중에 나온 것이다.
  4. 내가 보니, 그 숫양이 서쪽과 북쪽과 남쪽으로 들이받는데도, 아무 짐승도 그 앞에서 대항하지 못했으며, 그 손에서 구해 낼 수 있는 이가 아무도 없었다. 그 숫양은 자기 마음대로 하며 더욱 강해졌다.
  5. 이것이 무엇을 뜻하는지 알아 보려고 생각에 잠겨 있을 때에, 숫염소 한 마리가 서쪽으로부터 올라와서 땅에 두루 다니는데, 얼마나 빨리 달리는지, 발이 땅에 닿지 않았다. 두 눈 사이에는 뿔 하나가 뚜렷이 보였다.
  1. In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
  2. And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.
  3. Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
  4. I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
  5. And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
  1. 이 숫염소가 두 뿔을 가진 숫양, 곧 내가 강가에 서 있는 것을 본 그 숫양에게 다가가서, 성난 힘으로 달려들었다.
  2. 내가 보니, 그 숫염소가 숫양에게 가까이 가서 몹시 성을 내며, 그 숫양을 쳐서 두 뿔을 부수어 버렸다. 그 숫양은 숫염소와 맞서서 싸울 힘이 없었다. 숫염소가 숫양을 땅에 집어 던지고 짓밟았으나, 그 손에서 숫양을 구해 낼 사람이 없었다.
  3. 숫염소가 매우 강해지고 힘이 세어졌을 때에, 그 큰 뿔이 부러지고, 그 자리에 뚜렷하게 보이는 뿔 넷이 하늘 사방으로 뻗으면서 돋아났다.
  4. 그 가운데의 하나에서 또 다른 뿔 하나가 작게 돋기 시작하였으나 남쪽과 동쪽과 영광스러운 땅 쪽으로 크게 뻗어 나갔다.
  5. 그것이 하늘 군대에 미칠 만큼 강해지더니, 그 군대와 별 가운데서 몇을 땅에 떨어뜨리고 짓밟았다.
  1. And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
  2. And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
  3. Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
  4. And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
  5. And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
  1. 그것이 마치 하늘 군대를 주관하시는 분만큼이나 강해진 듯하더니, 그분에게 매일 드리는 제사마저 없애 버리고, 그분의 성전도 파괴하였다.
  2. 반역 때문에 성도들의 군대와 매일 드리는 제사가 그 뿔에게로 넘어갔다. 그 뿔은 하는 일마다 형통하였고, 진리는 땅에 떨어졌다.
  3. 내가 들으니, 어떤 거룩한 천사가 말하는데, 또 다른 거룩한 천사가 먼저 말한 그 거룩한 천사에게 물었다. "환상 속에서 본 이 일들이 언제까지나 계속될까? 언제까지나 계속해서, 매일 드리는 제사가 폐지되고, 파멸을 불러올 반역이 자행되고, 성소를 빼앗기고, 백성이 짓밟힐까?"
  4. 다른 천사가 나에게 말하였다. "밤낮 이천삼백 일이 지나야 성소가 깨끗하게 될 것이다."
  5. 나 다니엘이 그 환상을 보고 그 뜻을 이해하려고 하는데, 내 앞에 사람 모습을 한 것 같은 이가 서 있었다.
  1. Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down.
  2. And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
  3. Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
  4. And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
  5. And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
  1. 그 때에 내가 을래 강의 두 언덕 사이에서 사람이 외치는 소리를 들었다. "가브리엘아, 이 사람에게 그 환상을 알려 주어라."
  2. 그러자 그는, 내가 서 있는 곳으로 가까이 왔는데, 그가 올 때에 나는 무서워서 엎드렸다. 그가 나에게 말하였다. "이 사람아, 그 환상은 세상 끝에 관한 것임을 알아라."
  3. 그가 나에게 말할 때에, 나는 얼굴을 땅에 대고 깊이 잠이 들었다. 그러나 그는 나를 어루만지면서 일으켜 세웠다.
  4. 그리고 그는 말하였다. "보아라, 하나님의 분노가 마지막 때에 어떻게 일어날 것인가를, 내가 너에게 알려 주겠다. 이 환상은 끝 날의 정한 때에 일어날 일에 관한 것이다.
  5. 네가 본 숫양의 두 뿔은 메대와 페르시아의 왕들이다.
  1. And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
  2. So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
  3. Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
  4. And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.
  5. The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.
  1. 그 숫염소는 그리스 왕이고, 눈 사이에 있던 큰 뿔은 그 첫째 왕이다.
  2. 그 뿔이 꺾이고 그 자리에서 생긴 네 뿔은, 그 나라가 분열되어 일어날 네 나라다. 그 네 나라의 힘은 첫 번째 나라와 같지는 않을 것이다.
  3. 그들의 통치가 종말에 이를 때에, 그들의 죄악이 극도에 이를 때에, 뻔뻔스런 임금, 흉계에 능숙한 임금이 일어날 것이다.
  4. 그는 힘이 점점 세어질 터인데, 그 힘은 제 힘이 아니다. 그가 놀라운 힘으로 파괴하고, 하는 일마다 형통하며, 강한 사람과 거룩한 백성을 파멸시킬 것이다.
  5. 그는 음흉하여서 매사에 속이는 데 능숙하고, 마음이 방자하여서 평화롭게 사는 사람을 많이 죽이며, 만왕의 왕을 대적할 것이다. 그러나 사람이 손을 대지 않아도, 그는 끝내 망할 것이다.
  1. And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
  2. Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
  3. And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
  4. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
  5. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
  1. 내가 너에게 설명한 아침과 저녁 제사 환상은, 반드시 이루어진다. 그러나 아직 멀었으니, 너는 환상의 비밀을 잘 간직해 두어라.
  2. 그 때에 나 다니엘은 몹시 지쳐서, 여러 날 동안을 앓았다. 얼마 뒤에 일어나서, 왕이 맡긴 일을 계속하였으나, 내가 본 그 환상 때문에 나는 몹시 놀랐고, 그 뜻을 이해하지 못하였다.
  1. And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
  2. And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
 
  다니엘의 기도(9:1-9:27)    
 
  1. 메대 족속 아하수에로의 아들 다리우스가 바빌로니아 나라의 왕이 된 첫 해,
  2. 곧 그가 통치한 첫 해에, 나 다니엘은 거룩한 책들을 공부하면서, 주님께서 예레미야 예언자에게 하신 말씀, 곧 예루살렘이 칠십 년 동안 황폐한 상태로 있을 것을 생각하여 보았다.
  3. 응답을 들으려고, 나는 금식을 하면서, 베옷을 걸치고, 재를 깔고 앉아서, 하나님께 기도를 드리면서 간구하였다.
  4. 나는 주 나의 하나님께 기도하면서, 백성의 죄를 고백하고 아뢰었다. "위대하시고 두려우신 주 하나님, 하나님을 사랑하며 하나님의 계명을 지키는 사람들에게 언약과 인자를 베푸시는 하나님!
  5. 우리가 죄를 짓고 잘못을 저질렀습니다. 악한 일을 저지르며, 반역하며, 주님의 계명과 명령을 떠나서 살았습니다.
  1. In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;
  2. In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
  3. And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
  4. And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
  5. We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
  1. 우리는, 주님의 종 예언자들이 주님의 이름으로 우리의 왕과 지도자와 조상과 모든 백성에게 말하는 것을 듣지 않았습니다.
  2. 주님, 주님께서는 언제나 의로우십니다. 그러나 우리는 오늘처럼 낯뜨거운 수치를 당합니다. 유다에 사는 사람이나 예루살렘에 사는 주민이나, 가까운 데나 먼 데, 곧 이스라엘 사람으로서 흩어져 사는 사람이, 주님께서 쫓아내신 그 모든 땅에서 수치를 당하고 있습니다. 이것은 그들이 주님께 죄를 지었기 때문입니다.
  3. 주님, 우리와 우리의 왕과 지도자와 조상이 낯뜨거운 수치를 당한 것은 우리가 주님께 죄를 지었기 때문입니다.
  4. 주 우리 하나님은 우리를 긍휼히 여겨 주시고 용서하여 주셨으나, 우리는 하나님께 반역하였습니다.
  5. 우리가 우리 주 하나님께 순종하지도 않고, 하나님의 종 예언자들을 시키셔서 우리에게 말씀하여 주신 율법도 따르지 않았습니다.
  1. Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
  2. O LORD, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
  3. O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.
  4. To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
  5. Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
  1. 참으로 온 이스라엘이 주님께 순종하지 않고, 주님의 율법을 어기고 벗어났으므로, 하나님의 종 모세의 율법에 기록된 벌과 저주가 우리에게 내렸습니다. 이것은 우리가 주님께 죄를 지었기 때문입니다.
  2. 주님은 우리에게 큰 재앙을 내리셔서, 우리와 우리를 다스리는 통치자들에게 하신 말씀들을 이루셨습니다. 예루살렘에 내린 것과 같은 재앙은 하늘 아래 그 어느 곳에서도 없던 것입니다.
  3. 모세의 율법에 기록된 대로 이 모든 재앙이 우리에게 미쳤습니다. 그런데 아직도 우리는 죄의 길에서 돌아서지 않았습니다. 하나님의 진리를 따라 살지 않았습니다. 이렇게 우리는 주 우리 하나님께 은혜를 구하려 하지 않습니다.
  4. 주님께서 재앙을 간직해 두셨다가 우리에게 미치게 하신 것은, 주 우리 하나님이 하시는 모든 일은 의로우신데, 우리가 말씀에 순종하지 않은 까닭입니다.
  5. 강한 손으로 주님의 백성을 이집트 땅에서 인도하여 내시고, 오늘과 같은 명성을 얻으신 주 우리 하나님, 우리가 죄를 짓고, 악한 일을 저질렀습니다.
  1. Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
  2. And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.
  3. As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
  4. Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
  5. And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
  1. 주님, 주님께서 지난 날에 우리를 구하여 주셨으니, 이제 주님의 성 예루살렘 곧 주님의 거룩한 산으로부터 주님의 분노를 떠나게 해주십시오. 우리의 죄와 우리 조상의 죄악 때문에, 예루살렘과 주님의 백성이 우리 주위에 있는 민족들에게 멸시를 받습니다.
  2. 우리의 하나님, 이제 주님의 종의 기도와 간구를 들어 주십시오. 무너진 주님의 성전을 복구하여 주십시오. 성전을 복구하셔서, 주님만이 하나님이시라는 것을 모두가 알게 해주십시오.
  3. 나의 하나님, 귀를 기울이시고 들어 주십시오. 눈을 크게 뜨시고, 우리가 황폐해진 것과 주님의 이름을 빛내던 이 도성의 고통을 굽어보아 주십시오. 우리가 이렇게 주님께 간구하는 것은, 우리가 잘나서가 아니고, 주님께서 자비하시기 때문입니다.
  4. 주님, 들어 주십시오. 주님, 용서하여 주십시오. 주님께서 들어 주시고, 이루어 주십시오. 나의 하나님, 만민이 주님께서 하나님이심을 알아야 하니, 지체하지 마십시오. 이 도성과 이 백성이 주님의 것이기 때문입니다."
  5. 내가 아직 아뢰어 기도하면서, 나의 죄와 이 백성 이스라엘의 죄를 자백하고, 나의 하나님의 거룩한 산 성전을 다시 회복시켜 주시기를 주 나의 하나님께 간구할 때에,
  1. O LORD, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
  2. Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.
  3. O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
  4. O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
  5. And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;
  1. 내가 이렇게 기도드리면서 아뢸 때에, 지난번에 환상에서 본 가브리엘이, 내가 있는 곳으로 급히 날아왔다. 저녁 제사를 드릴 때였다.
  2. 그가 나에게 와서 설명해 주었다. "다니엘아, 내가 이제 너에게 지혜와 통찰력을 주려고 한다.
  3. 네가 간구하자 마자, 곧 응답이 있었다. 그 응답을 이제 내가 너에게 알려 주려고 왔다. 네가 크게 사랑을 받고 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 그 말씀을 잘 생각하고, 그 환상의 뜻을 깨닫도록 하여라.
  4. 하나님께서 너의 백성과 거룩한 도성에 일흔 이레의 기한을 정하셨다. 이 기간이 지나가야, 반역이 그치고, 죄가 끝나고, 속죄가 이루어지고, 하나님이 영원한 의를 세우시고, 환상에서 보이신 것과 예언의 말씀을 이루시고, 가장 거룩한 곳에 기름을 부으며, 거룩하게 구별하실 것이다.
  5. 그러므로 너는 다음과 같은 사실을 깨달아 알아야 한다. 예루살렘을 보수하고 재건하라는 말씀이 내린 때로부터 기름을 부어서 세운 왕이 오기까지는 일곱 이레가 지나갈 것이다. 그리고 예순두 이레 동안 예루살렘이 재건되어서, 거리와 성곽이 완성될 것이나, 이 기간은 괴로운 기간일 것이다.
  1. Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
  2. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
  3. At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
  4. Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
  5. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
  1. 예순두 이레가 지난 다음에, 기름을 부어서 세운 왕이 부당하게 살해되고, 아무도 그의 임무를 이어받지 못할 것이다. 한 통치자의 군대가 침략해 들어와서, 성읍과 성전을 파괴할 것이다. 홍수에 침몰되듯 성읍이 종말을 맞을 것이다. 피할 수 없는 전쟁이 끝까지 계속되어, 성읍이 황폐하게 될 것이다.
  2. 침략하여 들어온 그 통치자는 뭇 백성과 더불어, 한 이레 동안의 굳은 언약을 맺을 것이다. 그리고 한 이레의 반이 지날 때에, 그 통치자는 희생제사와 예물드리는 일을 금할 것이다. 그 대신에 성전의 가장 높은 곳에 흉측한 우상을 세울 것인데, 그것을 거기에 세운 사람이 하나님이 정하신 끝 날을 맞이할 때까지, 그것이 거기에 서 있을 것이다."
  1. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
  2. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
