미가

  미가는 북이스라엘과 남유다를 향해 예언한 선지자로, 요담 말기부터 히스기야 시대까지 활동한 것으로 보인다. 당시 앗수르는 디글랏 빌레셋 3세가 왕위에 올라 남진 정책을 폈다. 이로 인해 북이스라엘과 남유다는 앗수르의 침략 위협에 직면하고 있었다. 이러한 상황에서 남유다와 북이스라엘에는 국력을 정비하는 일이 무엇보다도 급선무였다. 그러나 그들은 국력을 정비하기보다는 정치적, 사회적, 종교적, 도덕적으로 더욱 타락해 가는 양상을 보였다. 이러한 상황에서 미가는 남북 왕국의 멸망과 그 후에 있을 하나님의 구원을 전하기 위해 본서를 기록하였다.

  본서는 하나님을 격노케 한 사마리아와 예루살렘의 죄상을 고발하고 하나님의 심판이 이미 정해졌음을 경고하며 그들의 회개를 촉구하고 있다. 또한 다윗의 언약이 장차 메시아 왕국의 도래로 인해 성취될 것임을 예언함으로써 소망을 주고 있다.

 

 

미가 1:1-3:12

 미가는 하나님의 말씀에 따라 전 이스라엘을 향해 심판을 선포하고 사마리아의 멸망을 예언하였다. 그는 약하고 가난한 자를 억압한 권세자들의 죄와 참선지자의 예언보다 자신의 뜻에 맞춰 주는 거짓 선지자의 말을 청종했던 백성들의 죄를 책망한 후, 예루살렘과 성전의 파괴를 예언하였다.
  
  이스라엘의 심판(1:1-3:12)    
 
  1. 이것은 주님께서, 사마리아와 예루살렘이 어찌 될 것인지를, 모레셋 사람 미가에게 보여 주시면서 하신 말씀이다. 때는 유다의 왕 요담과 아하스와 히스기야가 대를 이어 가면서 유다를 다스리던 기간이다.
  2. 뭇 민족아, 너희는 모두 들어라. 땅과 거기에 있는 만물들아, 귀를 기울여라. 주 하나님이 너희의 죄를 밝히신다. 주님께서 하늘의 성전에서 말씀하신다.
  3. 주님께서 그 거처에서 나오시어 땅의 높은 곳을 짓밟으시니,
  4. 뭇 산이 그 발 밑에서 녹고 평지가 갈라진다. 불 앞의 밀초처럼 녹아 내리고, 비탈길로 쏟아져 내리는 급류 같구나.
  5. 이 모든 일이 일어나는 것은 야곱의 죄 때문이며, 이스라엘 집의 범죄 때문이다. 야곱의 죄가 무엇이냐? 사마리아가 아니더냐? 유다의 산당이 무엇이냐? 예루살렘이 아니더냐?
  1. The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
  2. Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the LORD from his holy temple.
  3. For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
  4. And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
  5. For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
  1. "내가 사마리아를 빈 들의 폐허로, 포도나 가꿀 밭으로 만들겠다. 그 성의 돌들은 골짜기에 쏟아 붓고, 성의 기초가 드러나게 하겠다.
  2. 새겨서 만든 우상을 모두 박살내고, 몸을 팔아서 모은 재물을 모두 불에 태우고, 우상을 모두 부수어서 쓰레기 더미로 만들겠다. 몸을 팔아서 화대로 긁어 모았으니, 이제, 모든 것이 다시 창녀의 몸값으로 나갈 것이다."
  3. 그러므로 내가 슬퍼하며 통곡하고, 맨발로 벌거벗고 다니며, 여우처럼 구슬피 울며, 타조처럼 목놓아 울 것이니,
  4. 이것은, 사마리아의 상처가 고칠 수 없는 병이 되고, 그 불치병이 유다에까지 전염되고, 기어이 예루살렘에까지, 내 백성의 성문에까지 이르렀기 때문이다.
  5. "가드에 알리지 말며, 울지 말아라. 베들레아브라에서는 티끌에 묻어라.
  1. Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
  2. And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
  3. Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
  4. For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
  5. Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
  1. 사빌에 사는 사람들아, 벌거벗은 몸으로 부끄러움을 당하며 사로잡혀 가거라. 사아난에 사는 사람들은 감히 그 성읍에서 나오지도 못할 것이다. 벳에셀이 통곡하여 너희로 의지할 곳이 없게 할 것이다.
  2. 나 주가 예루살렘 성문에까지 재앙을 내렸으므로, 마롯에 사는 사람들은 고통을 받으면서 거기에서 벗어나기를 기다린다.
  3. 라기스에 사는 사람들아, 너희는 군마에 병거를 매어라. 라기스는 딸 시온의 죄의 근본이니, 이는 이스라엘의 허물이 네게서 보였기 때문이다.
  4. 그러므로 너는 모레셋 가드 백성에게는 작별의 선물을 주어라. 악십의 집들이 이스라엘 왕들을 속일 것이다.
  5. 마레사에 사는 사람들아, 내가 너희 대적을 너희에게 데려올 것이니, 이스라엘의 영광인 그가 아둘람으로 피할 것이다.
  1. Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.
  2. For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
  3. O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
  4. Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
  5. Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.
  1. 너희는 사랑하는 아들딸을 생각하며, 머리를 밀고 애곡하여라. 머리를 밀어 독수리처럼 대머리가 되어라. 너희의 아들딸들이 너희의 품을 떠나서, 사로잡혀 갈 것이다."
  1. Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
 
 
  1. 악한 궁리나 하는 자들, 잠자리에 누워서도 음모를 꾸미는 자들은 망한다! 그들은 권력을 쥐었다고 해서, 날이 새자마자 음모대로 해치우고 마는 자들이다.
  2. 탐나는 밭을 빼앗고, 탐나는 집을 제 것으로 만든다. 집 임자를 속여서 집을 빼앗고, 주인에게 딸린 사람들과 유산으로 받은 밭을 제 것으로 만든다.
  3. "그러므로 나 주가 말한다. 내가 이 백성에게 재앙을 내리기로 계획하였으니, 이 재앙을 너희가 피할 수 없을 것이다. 너희가 거만하게 걸을 수도 없을 것이다. 그처럼 견디기 어려운 재앙의 때가 될 것이다.
  4. 그 날이 오면, 사람들이 너희를 두고서 이러한 풍자시를 지어서 읊을 것이다. 슬픔에 사무친 애가를 지어서 부를 것이다. '우리는 알거지가 되었다. 주님께서 내 백성의 유산의 몫을 나누시고, 나에게서 빼앗은 땅을 반역자들의 몫으로 할당해 주셨다.'
  5. 그러므로 주님의 총회에서 줄을 띄워 땅을 나누고 제비 뽑아 분배할 때에 너희의 몫은 없을 것이다.
  1. Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
  2. And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
  3. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
  4. In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.
  5. Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.
  1. 그들의 예언자들이 말한다. '너희는 우리에게 예언하지 말아라. 이 모든 재앙을 두고 예언하지 말아라. 하나님이 우리를 망신시키실 리가 없다.'
  2. 야곱 족속아, 너희가 어찌하여 '주님의 영도 분노하시느냐? 주님께서 정말 그런 일을 하시느냐?' 하고 말하느냐? 나의 말이 행위가 정직한 사람에게 유익하지 않으냐?
  3. 요즈음에 내 백성이 대적처럼 일어났다. 전쟁터에서 고향으로 돌아가는 장정들처럼 안심하고 지나가는 사람들에게서, 너희는 그들의 옷을 벗겨 갔다.
  4. 너희는 내 백성의 아내들을 그 정든 집에서 쫓아냈고, 그들의 자녀들에게서 내가 준 복을 너희가 영영 빼앗아 버렸다.
  5. 썩 물러가거라. 여기는 너희의 안식처가 아니다. 이 곳은 더러워졌고, 끔찍한 멸망을 당할 수밖에 없다.
  1. Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.
  2. O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
  3. Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.
  4. The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever.
  5. Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
  1. 거짓말쟁이나 사기꾼이 와서 '너희에게 포도주와 독한 술이 철철 넘칠 것이다' 하고 예언하면, 그 사람이야말로 이 백성의 예언자가 될 것이다!
  2. 야곱아, 내가 반드시 너희를 다 모으겠다. 남아 있는 이스라엘 백성을 다 모으겠다. 내가 너희를 우리로 돌아오는 양 떼처럼 모으겠다. 양 떼로 가득 찬 초장과도 같이, 너희의 땅이 다시 백성으로 가득 찰 것이다.
  3. 길을 여는 자가 그들 앞서 올라가고 그들은 성문들을 부수고, 바깥으로 나갈 것이다. 그들의 왕이 앞장 서서 걸어가며 나 주가 선두에 서서 그들을 인도할 것이다."
  1. If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
  2. I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
  3. The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
 
 
  1. 그 때에 내가 말하였다. 야곱의 우두머리들아, 이스라엘 집의 지도자들아, 내가 하는 말을 들어라. 정의에 관심을 가져야 할 너희가,
  2. 선한 것을 미워하고, 악한 것을 사랑한다. 너희는 내 백성을 산 채로 그 가죽을 벗기고, 뼈에서 살을 뜯어낸다.
  3. 너희는 내 백성을 잡아 먹는다. 가죽을 벗기고, 뼈를 산산조각 바수고, 고기를 삶듯이, 내 백성을 가마솥에 넣고 삶는다.
  4. 살려 달라고 주님께 부르짖을 날이 그들에게 온다. 그러나 주님께서 그들의 호소를 들은 체도 하지 않으실 것이다. 그들이 그렇듯 악을 저질렀으니, 주님께서 그들의 기도를 들어주지 않으실 것이다.
  5. "예언자라는 자들이 나의 백성을 속이고 있다. 입에 먹을 것을 물려 주면 평화를 외치고, 먹을 것을 주지 아니하면 전쟁이 다가온다고 협박한다.
  1. And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
  2. Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
  3. Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
  4. Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
  5. Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
  1. 예언자들아, 너희의 날이 끝났다. 이미 날이 저물었다. 내 백성을 곁길로 이끌었으니 너희가 다시는 환상을 못 볼 것이고 다시는 예언을 하지 못할 것이다."
  2. 선견자들이 부끄러워하며, 술객들이 수치를 당할 것이다. 하나님께서 응답하지 않으시니, 그들이 얼굴을 들지 못할 것이다.
  3. 그러나 나에게는, 주님께서 주님의 영과 능력을 채워 주시고, 정의감과 함께, 야곱에게 그의 죄를 꾸짖고 이스라엘에게 그의 범죄를 꾸짖을 용기를 주셨다.
  4. 야곱 집의 지도자들아, 이스라엘 집의 지도자들아, 곧 정의를 미워하고, 올바른 것을 모두 그릇되게 하는 자들아, 나의 말을 들어라.
  5. 너희는 백성을 죽이고서, 그 위에 시온을 세우고, 죄악으로 터를 닦고서, 그 위에 예루살렘을 세웠다.
  1. Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
  2. Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
  3. But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
  4. Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.
  5. They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
  1. 이 도성의 지도자들은 뇌물을 받고서야 다스리며, 제사장들은 삯을 받고서야 율법을 가르치며, 예언자들은 돈을 받고서야 계시를 밝힌다. 그러면서도, 이런 자들은 하나같이 주님께서 자기들과 함께 계신다고 큰소리를 친다. '주님께서 우리와 함께 계시니, 우리에게 재앙이 닥치지 않는다'고 말한다.
  2. 그러므로 바로 너희 때문에 시온이 밭 갈듯 뒤엎어질 것이며, 예루살렘이 폐허더미가 되고, 성전이 서 있는 이 산은 수풀만이 무성한 언덕이 되고 말 것이다.
  1. The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
  2. Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
