	역대상 15:1-16:43 다윗은 웃사의 사건을 교훈삼아 하나님의 규례를 엄격히 준수하여 언약궤를 성공적으로 운반함으로써 예루살렘에 안치하였다. 감사 제사를 드린 다윗은 찬양대를 조직하여 하나님을 송축했으며, 언약궤를 섬길 봉사자들을 선정하여 직무를 배정했다.

	언약궤의 예루살렘 안치(15:1-15:29)

다윗이 '다윗 성'에 자기가 살 궁궐을 지었다. 또 하나님의 궤를 둘 한 장소를 마련하고 궤를 안치할 장소에 장막을 치고,

이렇게 말하였다. "레위 사람 말고는 아무도 하나님의 궤를 메어서는 안 된다. 주님께서 그들을 선택하여, 그들이 하나님의 궤를 메고 영원히 하나님을 섬기게 하셨기 때문이다."

다윗은 그가 마련한 장소에 주님의 궤를 옮겨 오려고, 온 이스라엘을 예루살렘으로 불러모았다.

다윗이 불러모은 아론의 자손과 레위 사람은 다음과 같다.

고핫 자손 가운데서 족장 우리엘과 그의 친족 백이십 명,

Now David built houses for himself in the city of David; and he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it.

Then David said, "No one is to carry the ark of God but the Levites; for the LORD chose them to carry the ark of God and to minister to Him forever."

And David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the LORD to its place which he had prepared for it.

David gathered together the sons of Aaron and the Levites:

of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the chief, and 120 of his relatives;

므라리 자손 가운데서 족장 아사야와 그의 친족 이백이십 명,

게르손 자손 가운데서 족장 요엘과 그의 친족 백삼십 명,

엘리사반 자손 가운데서 족장 스마야와 그의 친족 이백 명,

헤브론 자손 가운데서 족장 엘리엘과 그의 친족 여든 명,

웃시엘 자손 가운데서 족장 암미나답과 그의 친족 백십이 명이다.

of the sons of Merari, Asaiah the chief, and 220 of his relatives;

of the sons of Gershom, Joel the chief, and 130 of his relatives;

of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chief, and 200 of his relatives;

of the sons of Hebron, Eliel the chief, and 80 of his relatives;

of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the chief, and 112 of his relatives.

다윗은 제사장 사독과 아비아달과 레위 사람 우리엘과 아사야와 요엘과 스마야와 엘리엘과 암미나답을 불러,

그들에게 말하였다. "여러분은 레위 가문의 족장들입니다. 여러분 자신과 여러분의 친족들을 성결하게 하고, 주 이스라엘의 하나님의 궤를 내가 마련한 장소로 옮기십시오.

지난번에는 여러분이 메지 않았으므로, 주 우리 하나님께서 우리를 치셨습니다. 우리가 그분께 규례대로 하지 않아서 그렇게 된 것입니다."

그러자 제사장들과 레위 사람들이 주 이스라엘의 하나님의 궤를 옮겨 오려고, 스스로를 성결하게 하였다.

레위 자손은, 모세가 명령한 하나님의 말씀대로, 하나님의 궤를 채에 꿰어 그들의 어깨에 메었다.

Then David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel and Amminadab,

and said to them, "You are the heads of the fathers' households of the Levites; consecrate yourselves both you and your relatives, that you may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel to the place that I have prepared for it.

"Because you did not carry it at the first, the LORD our God made an outburst on us, for we did not seek Him according to the ordinance."

So the priests and the Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

The sons of the Levites carried the ark of God on their shoulders with the poles thereon, as Moses had commanded according to the word of the LORD.

다윗은 레위 사람의 족장들에게 지시하여, 그들의 친족으로 찬양하는 사람들에 임명하게 하고, 거문고와 수금과 심벌즈 등 악기를 연주하며, 큰소리로 즐겁게 노래를 부르게 하였다.

레위 사람은, 요엘의 아들 헤만과, 그의 친족 가운데서 베레야의 아들 아삽과, 또 그들의 친족인 므라리 자손 가운데서 구사야의 아들 에단을 임명하였다.

그들 말고, 두 번째 서열에 속한 그들의 친족들은, 스가랴와 벤과 야아시엘과 스미라못과 여히엘과 운니와 엘리압과 브나야와 마아세야와 맛디디야와 엘리블레후와 믹네야와 문지기 오벳에돔과 여이엘이다.

찬양대에 속한, 헤만과 아삽과 에단은 놋 심벌즈를 치고,

스가랴와 아시엘과 스미라못과 여히엘과 운니와 엘리압과 마아세야와 브나야는 알라못 방식으로 거문고를 타고,

Then David spoke to the chiefs of the Levites to appoint their relatives the singers, with instruments of music, harps, lyres, loud-sounding cymbals, to raise sounds of joy.

So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel, and from his relatives, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and from the sons of Merari their relatives, Ethan the son of Kushaiah,

and with them their relatives of the second rank, Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-edom and Jeiel, the gatekeepers.

So the singers, Heman, Asaph and Ethan were appointed to sound aloud cymbals of bronze;

and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah and Benaiah, with harps tuned to alamoth;

맛디디야와 엘리블레후와 믹네야와 오벳에돔과 여이엘과 아사시야는 스미닛 방식으로 수금을 탔다.

레위 사람의 족장 그나냐는 지휘를 맡았다. 그는 음악에 조예가 깊었으므로 찬양하는 것을 지도하였다.

베레갸와 엘가나는 궤를 지키는 문지기이다.

제사장인, 스바냐와 요사밧과 느다넬과 아마새와 스가랴와 브나야와 엘리에셀은, 하나님의 궤 앞에서 나팔을 불었다. 오벳에돔과 여히야는 궤를 지키는 문지기이다.

다윗과 이스라엘 장로들과 천부장들이 오벳에돔의 집에서 주님의 언약궤를 옮겨 오려고 기쁜 마음으로 그리로 갔다.

and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-edom, Jeiel and Azaziah, to lead with lyres tuned to the sheminith.

Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was in charge of the singing; he gave instruction in singing because he was skillful.

Berechiah and Elkanah were gatekeepers for the ark.

Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before the ark of God. Obed-edom and Jehiah also were gatekeepers for the ark.

So it was David, with the elders of Israel and the captains over thousands, who went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Obed-edom with joy.

하나님께서 주님의 언약궤를 운반하는 레위 사람들을 도우셨으므로, 그들이 수송아지 일곱 마리와 숫양 일곱 마리를 제물로 잡아서 바쳤다.

다윗과, 하나님의 궤를 멘 레위 사람들과, 찬양하는 사람들과, 찬양하는 사람들의 지휘자 그나냐가 모두 다 고운 모시로 만든 겉옷을 입고 있었으며, 다윗은 모시로 만든 에봇을 입고 있었다.

Because God was helping the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

Now David was clothed with a robe of fine linen with all the Levites who were carrying the ark, and the singers and Chenaniah the leader of the singing with the singers. David also wore an ephod of linen.

Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the horn, with trumpets, with loud-sounding cymbals, with harps and lyres.

It happened when the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David leaping and celebrating; and she despised him in her heart.

	다윗과 백성들의 감사 제사(16:1-16:43)

그들이 하나님의 궤를 들어다가, 다윗이 궤를 두려고 쳐 놓은 장막 안에 궤를 옮겨 놓고 나서, 하나님 앞에 번제와 화목제를 드렸다.

다윗은 번제와 화목제를 드리고 나서, 주님의 이름으로 백성에게 복을 빌어 주고,

온 이스라엘 사람에게, 남녀를 가리지 않고, 각 사람에게 빵 한 개와 고기 한 점과 건포도 과자 한 개씩을 나누어 주었다.

다윗이 레위 사람을 임명하여, 주님의 궤 앞에서 섬기며, 주 이스라엘의 하나님을 기리며, 감사하며, 찬양하게 하였다.

그 우두머리는 아삽이며, 그 밑에 스가랴와 여이엘과 스미라못과 여히엘과 맛디디아와 엘리압과 브나야와 오벳에돔과 여이엘이 있었다. 이들은 거문고와 수금을 타고 아삽은 심벌즈를 우렁차게 쳤다.

And they brought in the ark of God and placed it inside the tent which David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.

When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

He distributed to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread and a portion of meat and a raisin cake.

He appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the LORD, even to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom and Jeiel, with musical instruments, harps, lyres; also Asaph played loud-sounding cymbals,

제사장 브나야와 야하시엘은 하나님의 언약궤 앞에서 항상 나팔을 불었다.

그 날에 처음으로, 다윗이 아삽과 그 동료들을 시켜, 주님께 감사를 드리게 하였다.

너희는 주님께 감사하면서, 그의 이름을 불러라. 그가 하신 일을 만민에게 알려라.

그에게 노래하면서, 그를 찬양하면서, 그가 이루신 놀라운 일들을 전하여라.

그의 거룩하신 이름을 찬양하여라. 주님을 찾는 이들은 기뻐하여라.

and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests blew trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

Then on that day David first assigned Asaph and his relatives to give thanks to the LORD.

Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.

Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders.

Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad.

주님을 찾고, 그의 능력을 힘써 사모하고, 언제나 그의 얼굴을 찾아 예배하여라.

주님께서 이루신 놀라운 일을 기억하여라. 그 이적을 기억하고, 내리신 판단을 생각하여라.

그의 종 이스라엘의 자손아, 그가 택하신 야곱의 자손아!

그가 바로 주 우리의 하나님이시다. 그가 온 세상을 다스리신다.

그는, 맺으신 언약을 영원히 기억하시며, 자손 수천 대에 이루어지도록 기억하신다.

Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually.

Remember His wonderful deeds which He has done, His marvels and the judgments from His mouth,

O seed of Israel His servant, Sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!

He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.

Remember His covenant forever, The word which He commanded to a thousand generations,

그것은 곧 아브라함과 맺으신 언약이요, 이삭에게 하신 맹세요,

야곱에게 세우신 율례요, 이스라엘에게 지켜주실 영원한 언약이다.

주님께서는 "내가 이 가나안 땅을 너희에게 줄 것이다" 하고 말씀하셨다.

그 때에 너희의 수효가 극히 적었고, 그 땅에서 나그네로 있었으며,

이 민족에게서 저 민족에게로, 이 나라에서 다른 나라 백성에게로 떠돌아다녔다.

The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac.

He also confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,

Saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan, As the portion of your inheritance."

When they were only a few in number, Very few, and strangers in it,

And they wandered about from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people,

그러나 그 때에 주님께서는, 아무도 너희를 억누르지 못하게 하셨고, 너희를 두고 왕들에게 경고하시기를

"내가 기름 부어 세운 사람에게 손을 대지 말며, 나의 예언자들을 해하지 말아라" 하셨다.

온 땅아, 주님께 노래하여라. 그의 구원을 날마다 전하여라.

그의 영광을 만국에 알리고, 그가 일으키신 기적을 만민에게 알려라.

주님은 위대하시니, 그지없이 찬양 받으실 분이시다. 어떤 신들보다 더 두려워해야 할 분이시다.

He permitted no man to oppress them, And He reproved kings for their sakes, saying,

"Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm."

Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.

Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.

For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods.

만방의 모든 백성이 만든 신은 헛된 우상이지만, 주님은 하늘을 지으신 분이시다.

주님 앞에는 위엄과 영광이 있고, 그의 처소에는 권능과 즐거움이 있다.

만방의 민족들아, 주님의 영광과 권능을 찬양하여라.

주님의 이름에 어울리는 영광을 주님께 돌리어라. 예물을 들고, 그 앞에 들어가거라. 거룩한 옷을 입고, 주님께 경배하여라.

온 땅아, 그의 앞에서 떨어라. 세계는 굳게 서서, 흔들리지 않는다.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD made the heavens.

Splendor and majesty are before Him, Strength and joy are in His place.

Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him; Worship the LORD in holy array.

Tremble before Him, all the earth; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.

하늘은 즐거워하고, 땅은 기뻐서 외치며, '주님께서 통치하신다'고 만국에 알릴 것이다.

바다와 거기에 가득 찬 것들도 다 크게 외쳐라. 들과 거기에 있는 모든 것도 다 기뻐하며 뛰어라.

주님께서 땅을 심판하러 오실 것이니, 숲 속의 나무들도 주님 앞에서 즐거이 노래할 것이다.

주님께 감사하여라. 그는 선하시며, 그의 인자하심은 영원하시다.

너희는 부르짖어라. "우리 구원의 하나님, 우리를 구원하여 주십시오. 여러 나라에 흩어진 우리를 모아서 건져주십시오. 주님의 거룩한 이름에 감사하며, 주님을 찬양하며, 영광을 돌리게 해주십시오."

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns."

Let the sea roar, and all it contains; Let the field exult, and all that is in it.

Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before the LORD; For He is coming to judge the earth.

O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Then say, "Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name, And glory in Your praise."

주 이스라엘의 하나님, 영원토록 찬송을 받아 주십시오. 그러자 온 백성은, 아멘으로 응답하고, 주님을 찬양하였다.

다윗은 아삽과 그의 동료들을 주님의 언약궤 앞에 머물러 있게 하여, 그 궤 앞에서 날마다 계속하여 맡은 임무를 수행하도록 하였다.

오벳에돔과 그의 동료 예순여덟 명과 여두둔의 아들 오벳에돔과 호사는 문지기로 세웠다.

제사장 사독과 그의 동료 제사장들은 기브온 산당에 있는 주님의 성막 앞에서 섬기게 하였다.

그들은, 이스라엘에게 명하신 주님의 율법에 기록된 그대로, 번제단 위에서 아침 저녁으로 계속하여 주님께 번제를 드렸다.

Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting Then all the people said, "Amen," and praised the LORD.

So he left Asaph and his relatives there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;

and Obed-edom with his 68 relatives; Obed-edom, also the son of Jeduthun, and Hosah as gatekeepers.

He left Zadok the priest and his relatives the priests before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place which was at Gibeon,

to offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which He commanded Israel.

그들과 헤만과 여두둔과, 선택되어 이름이 명부에 기록된 남은 사람들은, 주님의 자비가 영원하심을 찬양하게 하였다.

또 그들과 함께 헤만과 여두둔은 나팔을 불고 심벌즈를 치며, 하나님을 찬양하는 악기를 우렁차게 연주하도록 하였다. 그리고 여두둔의 아들은 문지기로 세웠다.

그런 다음에, 온 백성이 각각 자기의 집으로 돌아갔고, 다윗도 자기의 집안 식구들에게 복을 빌어 주려고 왕궁으로 돌아갔다.

With them were Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were designated by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because His lovingkindness is everlasting.

And with them were Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those who should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God, and the sons of Jeduthun for the gate.

Then all the people departed each to his house, and David returned to bless his household.
