누가복음 2장 [새번역:NASB] 대한성서공회  
 
  1. 그 때에 아우구스투스 황제가 칙령을 내려 온 세계가 호적 등록을 하게 되었는데,
  2. 이 첫 번째 호적 등록은 구레뇨가 시리아의 총독으로 있을 때에 시행한 것이다.
  3. 모든 사람이 호적 등록을 하러 저마다 자기 고향으로 갔다.
  4. 요셉은 다윗 가문의 자손이므로, 갈릴리의 나사렛 동네에서 유대에 있는 베들레헴이라는 다윗의 동네로,
  5. 자기의 약혼자인 마리아와 함께 등록하러 올라갔다. 그 때에 마리아는 임신 중이었는데,
  1. Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus, that a census be taken of all the inhabited earth.
  2. This was the first census taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria.
  3. And everyone was on his way to register for the census, each to his own city.
  4. Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David,
  5. in order to register along with Mary, who was engaged to him, and was with child.
 
 
  1. 그들이 거기에 머물러 있는 동안에, 마리아가 해산할 날이 되었다.
  2. 마리아가 첫 아들을 낳아서, 포대기에 싸서 구유에 눕혀 두었다. 여관에는 그들이 들어갈 방이 없었기 때문이다.
  3. 그 지역에서 목자들이 밤에 들에서 지내며 그들의 양 떼를 지키고 있었다.
  4. 그런데 주님의 한 천사가 그들에게 나타나고, 주님의 영광이 그들을 두루 비추니, 그들은 몹시 두려워하였다.
  5. 천사가 그들에게 말하였다. "두려워하지 말아라. 나는 온 백성에게 큰 기쁨이 될 소식을 너희에게 전하여 준다.
  1. While they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth.
  2. And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
  3. In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night.
  4. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened.
  5. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people;
 
 
  1. 오늘 다윗의 동네에서 너희에게 구주가 나셨으니, 그는 곧 그리스도 주님이시다.
  2. 너희는 한 갓난아기가 포대기에 싸여, 구유에 뉘어 있는 것을 볼 터인데, 이것이 너희에게 주는 표징이다."
  3. 갑자기 그 천사와 더불어 많은 하늘 군대가 나타나서, 하나님을 찬양하여 말하였다.
  4. "더없이 높은 곳에서는 하나님께 영광이요, 땅에서는 주님께서 좋아하시는 사람들에게 평화로다."
  5. 천사들이 목자들에게서 떠나 하늘로 올라간 뒤에, 목자들이 서로 말하였다. "베들레헴으로 가서, 주님께서 우리에게 알려주신 바, 일어난 그 일을 봅시다."
  1. for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
  2. "This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
  3. And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
  4. "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased."
  5. When the angels had gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds began saying to one another, "Let us go straight to Bethlehem then, and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has made known to us."
 
 
  1. 그리고 그들은 급히 달려가서, 마리아와 요셉과 구유에 누워 있는 아기를 찾아냈다.
  2. 그들은 이것을 보고 나서, 이 아기에 관하여 자기들이 들은 말을 사람들에게 알려 주었다.
  3. 이것을 들은 사람들은 모두 목자들이 그들에게 전해준 말을 이상히 여겼다.
  4. 마리아는 이 모든 말을 고이 간직하고, 마음 속에 곰곰이 되새겼다.
  5. 목자들은 자기들이 듣고 본 모든 일이 자기들에게 일러주신 그대로임을 알고, 돌아가면서 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 그를 찬미하였다.
  1. So they came in a hurry and found their way to Mary and Joseph, and the baby as He lay in the manger.
  2. When they had seen this, they made known the statement which had been told them about this Child.
  3. And all who heard it wondered at the things which were told them by the shepherds.
  4. But Mary treasured all these things, pondering them in her heart.
  5. The shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.
 
 
  1. 여드레가 차서, 아기에게 할례를 행할 때에, 그 이름을 예수라고 하였다. 그것은, 아기가 수태되기 전에, 천사가 일러준 이름이다.
  2. 모세의 법대로 그들이 정결하게 되는 날이 차서, 그들은 아기를 주님께 드리려고 예루살렘으로 데리고 올라갔다.
  3. 그것은 주님의 율법에 기록된 바 "어머니의 태를 처음 여는 사내아이마다, 주님의 거룩한 사람으로 불릴 것이다" 한 대로 한 것이요,
  4. 또 주님의 율법에 이르신 바 "산비둘기 한 쌍이나, 어린 집비둘기 두 마리를 드려야 한다" 한 대로, 희생제물을 드리기 위한 것이었다.
  5. 그런데 마침 예루살렘에 시므온이라는 사람이 있었는데, 그 사람은 의롭고 경건한 사람이므로, 이스라엘이 받을 위로를 기다리고 있었고, 또 성령이 그에게 임하여 계셨다.
  1. And when eight days had passed, before His circumcision, His name was then called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.
  2. And when the days for their purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him up to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord
  3. (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, "EVERY firstborn MALE THAT OPENS THE WOMB SHALL BE CALLED HOLY TO THE LORD"),
  4. and to offer a sacrifice according to what was said in the Law of the Lord, "A PAIR OF TURTLEDOVES OR TWO YOUNG PIGEONS."
  5. And there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
 
 
  1. 그는 주님께서 세우신 그리스도를 보기 전에는 죽지 아니할 것이라는 성령의 지시를 받은 사람이었다.
  2. 그가 성령의 인도로 성전에 들어갔을 때에, 마침 아기의 부모가 율법이 정한 대로 행하고자 하여, 아기 예수를 데리고 들어왔다.
  3. 시므온이 아기를 자기 팔로 받아서 안고, 하나님을 찬양하여 말하였다.
  4. "주님, 이제 주님께서는 주님의 말씀을 따라, 이 종을 세상에서 평안히 떠나가게 해주십니다.
  5. 내 눈이 주님의 구원을 보았습니다.
  1. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
  2. And he came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to carry out for Him the custom of the Law,
  3. then he took Him into his arms, and blessed God, and said,
  4. "Now Lord, You are releasing Your bond-servant to depart in peace, According to Your word;
  5. For my eyes have seen Your salvation,
 
 
  1. 주님께서 이것을 모든 백성 앞에 마련하셨으니,
  2. 이는 이방 사람들에게는 계시하시는 빛이요, 주님의 백성 이스라엘에게는 영광입니다."
  3. 아기의 아버지와 어머니는, 시므온이 아기에 대하여 하는 이 말을 듣고서, 이상하게 여겼다.
  4. 시므온이 그들을 축복한 뒤에, 아기의 어머니 마리아에게 말하였다. "보십시오, 이 아기는 이스라엘 가운데 많은 사람을 넘어지게도 하고 일어서게도 하려고 세우심을 받았으며, 비방 받는 표징이 되게 하려고 세우심을 받았습니다.
  5. -그리고 칼이 당신의 마음을 찌를 것입니다.- 그리하여 많은 사람의 마음 속 생각들이 드러나게 될 것입니다."
  1. Which You have prepared in the presence of all peoples,
  2. A LIGHT OF REVELATION TO THE GENTILES, And the glory of Your people Israel."
  3. And His father and mother were amazed at the things which were being said about Him.
  4. And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary His mother, "Behold, this Child is appointed for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and for a sign to be opposed--
  5. and a sword will pierce even your own soul--to the end that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed."
 
 
  1. 아셀 지파에 속하는 바누엘의 딸로 안나라는 여예언자가 있었는데, 나이가 많았다. 그는 처녀 시절을 끝내고 일곱 해를 남편과 함께 살고,
  2. 과부가 되어서, 여든네 살이 되도록 성전을 떠나지 않고, 밤낮으로 금식과 기도로 하나님을 섬겨왔다.
  3. 바로 이 때에 그가 다가서서 하나님께 감사를 드리고, 예루살렘의 구원을 기다리는 모든 사람에게 이 아기에 대하여 말하였다.
  4. 아기의 부모는 주님의 율법에 규정된 모든 일을 마친 뒤에, 갈릴리의 자기네 고향 동네 나사렛에 돌아왔다.
  5. 아기는 자라나면서 튼튼해지고, 지혜로 가득 차게 되었고, 또 하나님의 은혜가 그와 함께 하였다.
  1. And there was a prophetess, Anna the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher She was advanced in years and had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage,
  2. and then as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the temple, serving night and day with fastings and prayers.
  3. At that very moment she came up and began giving thanks to God, and continued to speak of Him to all those who were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.
  4. When they had performed everything according to the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own city of Nazareth.
  5. The Child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.
 
 
  1. 예수의 부모는 해마다 유월절에 예루살렘으로 갔다.
  2. 예수가 열두 살이 되는 해에도, 그들은 절기 관습을 따라 유월절을 지키러 예루살렘에 올라갔다.
  3. 그런데 그들이 절기를 마치고 돌아올 때에, 소년 예수는 예루살렘에 그대로 머물러 있었다. 그의 부모는 이것을 모르고,
  4. 일행 가운데 있으려니 생각하고, 하룻길을 갔다. 그 뒤에 비로소 그들의 친척들과 친지들 가운데서 그를 찾았으나,
  5. 찾지 못하여, 예루살렘으로 되돌아가서 찾아다녔다.
  1. Now His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover.
  2. And when He became twelve, they went up there according to the custom of the Feast;
  3. and as they were returning, after spending the full number of days, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. But His parents were unaware of it,
  4. but supposed Him to be in the caravan, and went a day's journey; and they began looking for Him among their relatives and acquaintances.
  5. When they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem looking for Him.
 
 
  1. 사흘 뒤에야 그들은 성전에서 예수를 찾아냈는데, 그는 선생들 가운데 앉아서, 그들의 말을 듣기도 하고, 그들에게 묻기도 하고 있었다.
  2. 그의 말을 듣고 있던 사람들은 모두 그의 슬기와 대답에 경탄하였다.
  3. 그 부모는 예수를 보고 놀라서, 어머니가 예수에게 말하였다. "얘야, 이게 무슨 일이냐? 네 아버지와 내가 너를 찾느라고 얼마나 애를 태웠는지 모른다."
  4. 예수가 부모에게 말하였다. "어찌하여 나를 찾으셨습니까? 내가 내 아버지의 집에 있어야 할 줄을 알지 못하셨습니까?"
  5. 그러나 부모는 예수가 자기들에게 한 그 말이 무슨 뜻인지를 깨닫지 못하였다.
  1. Then, after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.
  2. And all who heard Him were amazed at His understanding and His answers.
  3. When they saw Him, they were astonished; and His mother said to Him, "Son, why have You treated us this way? Behold, Your father and I have been anxiously looking for You."
  4. And He said to them, "Why is it that you were looking for Me? Did you not know that I had to be in My Father's house?"
  5. But they did not understand the statement which He had made to them.
 
 
  1. 예수는 부모와 함께 내려가 나사렛으로 돌아가서, 그들에게 순종하면서 지냈다. 예수의 어머니는 이 모든 일을 마음에 간직하였다.
  2. 예수는 지혜와 키가 자라고, 하나님과 사람에게 더욱 사랑을 받았다.
  1. And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and He continued in subjection to them; and His mother treasured all these things in her heart.
  2. And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
